Communication to the United States of America
The United Socialist States of Wagdog wishes to express its concern over American military action so close to our state of the Marshall Islands. However, Wake was legitimately part of the Minor US Outlying Islands territories prior to recent disturbances in the Pacific that brough anarchy to those regions, and we shall not oppose America's claim. If America should wish it, we would be glad to offer whatever diplomatic assistance is required to arrange a peaceful annexation of Wake for them.
However, offers like this of course have prices, and we suggest the following. Currently, the FPU is threatening the sovereignty of Singapore, a key city-state which stands astride Wagdog's trade routes westward through the Straits of Malacca to India and beyond. We have some power in terms of capability to oppose this, given the quantities of American military equipment seized during our revolution that we still operate, but not without at least economic and diplomatic support. To make these seemingly disparate threads meet, how about we recognize the annexation of Wake by the US and return the six B-52H Stratofortresses we operate to US control; in return for transfer to us of six more B-1B Lancers from US war-reserve stocks, to standardize our bomber force's logistics and training, and American diplomatic support for whatever actions we take in defending Singapore's rights against an aggressive regime?

Ayotallah Ruhamelli Khakaska was intent on bringing about a revival of Islamic unity and civilization. But this meant unifying the muslim world as much as possible.
Afghanistan and Iraq were easily intergrated in the Islamic Empire. Turkey followed afterwards.
The Empire now had more to do. Infidels were corrupting muslims in Kuwait and Syria. But Iran would soon free the muslims of those countries from their infidel oppressors.

For this task he had inserted Abdel Vackman Mohammed into the slot of Emperor. But the Ayotallah pulled all the strings.

He cabled his message to the governments of Kuwait and Syria and demanded they return kick out all westerners, adopt Islamic law, and return to the Islamic family of nations. If they refused, there would be war.

General Report of the RSU

Goals of the Party

The RSU has several issues which are to be addressed before the strengthening and expansion of the Union can be achieved. These will be addressed by this report, and our tactics for the future laid out.

Unemployment

The issue of unemployment is major in the RSU, with 25% of people having no job. This will be remedied by the increase of agricultural and industrial growth. Most of the food, consumable products and otherwise imported products will be produced in nation under this growth, meaning that the RSU will have to rely on foreign economies so much. The downfall of the Rand due to so much new money will be balanced by trading raw materials with other like minded nations, trading our raw materials such as Diamonds and Aluminium. The agricultural industry will be modernised as much as possible, and the industrial sector modernised and enlarged at the same time.

Goals are:

50% Increase in Industrial Output
25% Increase in Agricultural Output
The Services industry decreased as much as possible

Security

Due to continuing unstable dissent within the nation due to the attitude of the past government and the rightful extremism of the current government, unrest does exist within the RSU. This will be clamped down upon by the increased profile of the Military, Police force etc. Harsher laws will be introduced and the civil rights of the nation tightened until a just balance is achieved. This will guarantee the most important civil right of all - the right to security and safety in your own home.

Economy

The economy will be strengthened using the aforementioned agricultural and industrial growth, with the services branch of the economy being tightened upon vastly. Unneeded public spending will be lowered by the introduction of State Property and the decrease of the importance of material wealth, using a balanced work/reward system. This should balance out the increased cost of the industrial growth with the decreased public spending. Some key steps:

State Property
Taxes on Imports Heightened
Taxes on Exports Lowered
Labour Costs Lowered
Increased Focus on Internal Spending

Nuclear Power

Also, to strengthen the economy, Nuclear Power will be introduced to the RSU. Four power stations will be built, replacing or supplementing existing power stations across the nation. These power stations will each cover a separate region, and will provide cheaper power for a nation where every home does not have the benefit of electricity.

Public Works

Much like Germany in the 1930’s, large public works programs will be set up to increase the standard of living and therefore standard of work of the nation. First and foremost, huge reservoirs will be built where needed to provide water to people somewhat without water, and huge water works will be built where reservoirs cant. On top of this, water treatment plants will be constructed on the coast to pump water to cities inland. This is a high priority, and will take up a large amount of public spending, but should be balanced with the benefits well.

The infrastructure will also be improved somewhat, which would be essential for a new fast moving nation. We hope to purchase High Speed Electric trains from a foreign country, to supplement our own infrastructure network. Transport will also be focused on rail rather than by road, a major concern our nation has at the moment.

Finally, Urban growth will be encouraged on coastal areas, hopefully adding to our economy by increased trade and productivity.

Armed Forces

The Armed forces will be of low concern for the first year or so, while a decent economic base is set up. However, a steady modernisation program will be set up over the first year. Various projects are:

Man Portable Unguided Anti-Tank Weapon
Helicopter Launched Anti-Tank Weapon
New Standard Assault Rifle

We hope to acquire from foreign nations within a year:

Transport Helicopters
Ground Attack Aircraft
Improved Air Defence Weaponry

Diplomacy

It is imperative that like-minded foreign governments to trade with are found, and embassies set up within those nations. Only then can we establish a strong inter-national bond with other nations, and become less isolationist than our past leaders.

We also plan to spread Socialism to more of South Africa, and bring them back to their true brother from the RSU. This will be done diplomatically initially, before other techniques will be tested to release The People from the spectre of their Capitalist influenced leaders.

The Commune Representatives Committee has recently received an urgent request from the Organisation of Trade Unions in Kazakhstan, an organisation recently outlawed in the country. Many members of the organization have recently 'disappeared', a few of them have been seen being dragged into black vans at night. The regime in Kazakhstan, led by Nursultan Mazimov, has been blacklisted by many human rights organisations around the world, for their use of mass torture and genocide against the lower classes. The Trade Unions of Kazakhstan have requested that The Pan Asian Bloc intervene in this matter and help oust the hated dictator from power.

Many Pan Asian Bloc citizens in the western regions can testify to the poor treatment of the lower classes by the kazakh regime, who have seen starving and beaten men women and children fleeing across the border into The Pan Asian Bloc. There have been recent clashes between Kazakh forces and Pan Asian Bloc forces all along the border, as the Kazakh regime has ordered the refugees to be brought back by force. Pan Asian Bloc National Guard forces are massing on the border in preperation for invasion to save the working classes from further tyrrany, and support the current working class guerrilla movement in operation in the country. This resolution was put to vote in the Pan Asian Bloc, and the majority of citizens support intervention.

Communist Greetings from the Commune Representative Committee.

Events in Lesotho

Monday

Five thousand people. The largest street in Lesotho. A whole load of red banners. A huge Socialist Union march through Maseru. The people, rising against a Government which does not organise its Economy, meaning they live off less than a dollar a day. Surrounded by one of the fastest growing nations in the world, you could smell the anger in the crowd.

Yet the walk was relatively peaceful. Despite minor skirmishes with the Military, the crowd had marched all day, hundreds of people trying to shout loud enough to be actually be heard by those in control. At the head of the crowd, Michaele DeNero marched towards the Ministerial Palace of Lesotho. A band of young military men, each around 17 and looking very scared, blocked the main gate. A man in a pressed-uniform stood with a loudspeaker, and demanded the crowd stopped.

Yet they kept going, fed by the hunger for a better lifestyle. They reached the troops, who held them back. The crowd surged, and the troops fell back. They went back beating the crowd. Within an hour the carnage was left lieing, stretched for a mile back from the Palace. Pools of blood. Bodies. Wounded people. Shattered houses. And it was just the start.

The emergence of violence in the Capital led to the rise of increasing violence elsewhere. Hit squads on the leaders of opposition parties, not just Socialist leaders. Extremist groups emerging from the shadows, using the violence to further their own regimes.

Chaos in Lesotho.

Saturday

Izen DeBeck sat with a coffee in the Upper Floor Discussion Room with his top advisors. They had discussed domestic issues and appointed a new Domestic Advisor, Reginald Agu. And then the most pressing issue arrived. Lesotho.

DeBeck then took the lead. It was something he felt strongly about. Socialism should be spread to all who want it, be it people in his own nation or others. Lesotho obviously wanted, and deserved, what they strived for. And the last thing they needed was the unrest spilling into the RSU.

He made the decision there and then. Intervention was needed. Socialism was coming.

The Emperor was mulling over plans to make Persia the number one Islamic nation on the the earth when Shalid Kahth came to him with the news that the governments of Syria responded less than enthusiastic than they had hoped. But the Syrians were still open to his majesties suggestions.
Kuwait, however, had rejected the demands outright and were preparing defenses for their small nation.

The Emperor was angered at this defiance from such a pathetic tiny nation of corrupted officials. The Pakistani's had just been given a similar notice. Impudence must not be allowed to stand unchallenged. Kuwait must be punished and made into example of what would happen to any one who challenges the Islamic Empire.

The Emperor stopped fuming to issue a command: "Shalid, contact the Defense Minister, I want seveal units in Iran proper activated and sent to Iraq province in preparation for Operation Wrath of Allah."

---------------------------------------------------------------
Within hours 60,000 Persian Troops from Iran had moved into southern Iraq along with several armored divisions. They had been moved to within 5 miles of the Kuwait/Persia border. It would take 5 days for the movement to be completed.

Several Persian aircraft flew over Kuwait dropping leaflets calling on the people there to oust their leaders and rejoin the Islamic fold and warning of war if they did not.

Iranian networks broadcast demands for Kuwait's unconditional surrender to the Empire.
"If Kuwait does not return to the fold and join its Islamic brothers, Kuwait will be turned into a smoldering wasteland."

Defense Minister Assoud noted that Syria might use the Kuwait matter to prepare its own defenses and suggested moving forces toward that area as well.
Iraq province contained 375,000 troops.
With the authorization of the Emperor and the Grand Ayatollah, Assoud moved 75,000 troops south to assist in the liberation of Kuwait. 100,000 troops were moved close the Syrian border.
In Turkey, the empire had 750,000 troops which now began to mobilize. 500,000 would be used to force Syria back into the fold should they not learn the lesson of Kuwait and return voluntarily.
Afghanistan had 40,000 troops. Barely enough to protect the Empire's eastern flank.

Official Televised Statement from Madame Christine Friedrich, Deputy General Secretary of the United Socialist States of Wagdog Revolutionary Command Council
Good evening my Comrades at home, our neighbors abroad, and fellows the world over.
Last night, my government received word of critical developments on the islands of Fiji, where a military-civil coalition regime that is fascist in all but name has intensified a completely unjustifiable campaign of terror against its minority population. Against helpless people of Indian, Chinese, and even European descent whose only desire is to live peacefully in their homes; whose only "crime" is to have been left behind there when the British imperialists packed up over thirty years ago, without even trying to building an equitable society to leave in their place first.
And in particular, we in Wagdog received word from those same, proud people, who have now taken up arms against the murderers that claim to rule them lawfully; people who now plead for our aid. For aid... that has already come.
Even as I record this message to you all, combined-arms operations in the vicinity of Suva International Airport are underway by elements of the Wagdoggie Red Army and Red Army Air Forces, under the heading of "Operation: People's Fumble;" our aim being to catch the Fijian people in our arms and shelter them behind our robust shield. Whilst we deliver justice to their persecutors in power, with the fateful lightning of our terrible swift sword.
Know that none of this is intended as aggression against any of you; least of all the Federal Pacific Union, who have so kindly agreed to host my beloved husband and our dear leader, General Secretary Carolinus Horridus, at a proper international conference to decide the city-state of Singapore's political destiny. Wagdog means only to put an end to an ethnic conflict that has been a source of misery and shame in our Pacific Ocean region for decades. Fiji can be... deserves to be... an open and prosperous people's state, unfettered by race or any other barrier of old. Tonight, my friends and comrades, know that the Wagdoggie Red Army continues the revolutionary struggle, with full intent that such may be so. Forward the Red Banner! Forward the Revolution; always unto Victory!
Recorded by Wagdoggie Internationalist Broadcasting Corporation, WIBC News, and simulcast with footage of military operations in Fiji shot by reporters on-scene.

I believe we have come up with a compromise of some sort, there is a small area of land on the eastern side of Afghanistan that could connect our seperated nations, we would like to claim that very small and possibly isolated area in order to link our nations together without having to invade their entire nation and cause any unnecessary casualties. Would this work?

Our nation has been preparing in these recent days, not for an invasion of afghanistan, but instead for a possible invasion of Kazakhstan, unless the Pan Asian Block Agrees to allow us to add this country to our nation, we will treat them fairly unlike their previous harsh rulers that they overthrew, and we do not intend to attack you nations of The Pan Asian Bloc. Our goal is to simply unite the majority of the countries in the middle east (mainly the ones with "stan" in the end of their names for no apparent reason) through the most peaceful means, and we hope that other countries of the world will learn from our goals and try to do so as well.

Arabian Bedou Royal Islamic Confederation

While the Arabian Royal Confederation seeks a peaceful open table with all nations and all peoples everywhere we condemn the suggested annexation of Afghanistan or Kazakhstan.

The people of the Confederation abhor the very idea of majority Muslim nations being bandied about like marbles between greedy children.

Truly the ARC does not have the Military resources to mount a projected conventional defense of the afore mentioned nations. This however does not preclude the fact that we can make assurances that the Red Sea and the Straights of Horrmuz would become a most unfriendly region of the world for such "Bad Actors" as these suppositions imply.

As well, let there be no doubt that as the Arabian Bedou Royal Islamic Confederation is the largest gross producers and exporter of petroleum in the world all weapons of war need not be produced in arms manufacturing, that truly economics is only real weapon of mass destruction and of those we have no shortage to bring to bear against any force or group of forces bent on the subjegation of Muslim people.

Finally the House of Saud, the ruling monarchy of the Confederation along with the support of the Royal Emirates has every intention of making cerrtain the United States has all reasonable and available access to the region to bring the to bear their own measures of assurance of peace regionally and with in the Hemisphere.

Press Release from the Rhodesian Socialist Union

We would like to point out to the world, we have not got a single unit in Zimbabwe at this time, and are merely legally strengthening our border positions against OBVIOUS aggression shown by the Zimbabwean Armed forces.

We would also like to point out that is hardly acceptable AT ALL for a nation like the US to stand for Zimbabwe, an awful dictator, who openly uses chemical weapons AGAINST his OWN PEOPLE.

We call the nations of the world to condemn this obviously stupid approach shown by the US. We are entirely legal in our actions, and are merely observing the actions within Zimbabwe.

Our fighter aircraft were in our own airspace and there's in ours. We are merely responding to their aggression. The US has no place here.

9,028,014 soldiers from pakistan have been deployed to invade India with air and artillery support, a joint operation with another country is possible. We also would like to request a joint operation of afghanistan, we only seek to have control of the eastern strip of land, the rest is yours, this is simply only for reasons of connecting our countries.

Sitting in his hotel room in the Singapore Grand Hyatt, Rilir wondered if it was the summner heat at these latitudes worldwide. Why else are these Humans conducting themselves like the proverbial greedy Dwarves, claiming gold somewhere without even prospecting for it first?. Still, stalled conference for Singapore's fate or no, a response to the United Stani Provinces' actions had to be measured and issued accordingly. And naturally, issued by this particular elf to boot...
To the United Stani Provinces,
First of all, we have no problem with you desire to annex the easternmost provinces of Afghanistan in order to unify your fragmented country; namely Badakhstan, Nurestan and Kunar Provinces, if you indeed desire the most robust connection of former Soviet Central Asia to Pakistan. Who knows, you may even bring some measure of order to those notably lawless regions; and perhaps yet capture the notorious terrorist mastermind Osama Bin Laden for the Americans, yes?
However, we must ask: precisely why do you see fit to invade India? Perhaps to finish the old Pakistani grudge and resurrect the Mughal Empire? We have no means to oppose you materially, but your reply regarding what the rights of the Hindu majority and other religious minorities of India will be under your rule shall determine much regarding how soon we open a formal embassy in your capital. Please answer in a way that says it can be soon; being in a political shunning contest with the Americans is quite tiring enough, and we could use a friend in the Muslim world.
Sincerely,
Rilir Alarion nos Carthir

We are increasing our support as well, we're just gonna bomb the capitol with some MOABs, or something able to engulf all of the capital in the explosion without killing to many people. We will be using a newly developed bomber, that has been designed too effectively resist AA weapons.
