OOC: I don't officially have a newspaper company, or even a news station. Our information comes from freelancers, and those freelancers somehow draw other countries into affairs of that topic.

Freelancer, Jared Tramone

It is a historic moment, here in Havvy, on H.72 April 6th. Jerry Sophrone, our leader for the past seven months has decided to give up some of his power, and make the nation a little more organized.

How has he done this? Well, he held an election on H.71, Dec. 5th. This election which was known for at least one month before it happened.

Candidates went to many major cities, seeing if they could get popular vote of Havvy, so they could become Minister of Infrastructure.

The winner of the election was Jerimy Pomherd. The h is silent.

It will be his job, as Minister of Infrastructure, to make sure that trade routes are open, and free from smugglers. He will have to make sure that the condition of buildings are in fine shape, and he is allowed to make laws on building codes and the national road system.

The other candidates, Hermy Wenterton and Yalan Gramit got about 20% of the vote each. It was Jerimy Pomherd who got the other 60%, as he made sure to visit many towns that had a good population, but were not visited by other candidates.

The elections were somewhat biased though, since the candidate had to visit that town to allow that town to have them on the ballot. This left many small towns with empty ballots.

So, in conclusion, I restate, that there is a new office in Havvy, and Jerimy Pomherd is the person in office.

OOC: This dictatorship has elections for other positions. It is unknown currently whether they were rigged by the Havian populous. In reality, the voting was exact except for a few small places that rigged the votes for Yalan.

He'll have his work cut out for him once Strategic Air Command's finished... 20 hours now, my dear fellow, 20 hours.
