Persecution and Hatred

The nation of Malawi was a paradox on the map of Southern Africa, it was almost entirely sorrounded by The Boer Republik, yet somehow it retained the pretense of Independence.

President De Vries having survived a recent terrorist attack in johannesburg (which cost the lives of senior Afrikaaner Statesmen) and riding on his postponement of the general elections due to the risk of a greater terrorist attack in Capetown heas decided to rid the "bastion of Tyranny" that constitutes the entire state of Malawi....

The nation has been put on only the second "state of emegency" in her entire history. Government spokesmen Hans de smit stated today that the acts of barbaric savagery was perpitrated by RUN agents who supplied the extremist group the BLA.

And intelligence reported that they have been operating out of Lilongwe, the capital of Malawi and also Dodoma capital of Tanzania (although the allgations for the latter have at the moment been unubstantiated at the moment.

OOC: Is this SIC or IC?

I'd say IC, since I'm getting blamed again. Why is it always me? God, you'd think someone else would get the blame for something eventually and yet it's always me. Boy, am I popular. :p

Anyway, since I'm getting blamed I guess I have to post an IC response to that. P&H, blaming me is going to be a hard sell- for one the Republic declared it would not longer involve itself in African affairs (I don't consider Madagascar to be African in this time line, but Asian instead). Two, this resulted in Equatorial Guinea leaving the Republic and all Republican ties to Mainland Africa severed. Adding to this, the main nation near Africa- Madagascar has been quieter then ever. My, advice- you might want to blame someone else because now's not a good time to be messing with the Republic, you won't like the result.

IC post coming soon.....

General James Smith was confident of total victory in the malawi, South Africa almost totally circled the landlocked nation and have begun to deprive the nation of anything but crucially needed imports.

The Tumultous history between rhodesia i(n the late 1950s and early 1960s) and Malawi (formely Nyasaland) have seem to have bee resurected with Malawis ongoing support for the BLA in Both South africa and Southern rhodesia herself.

South Africa has recently Reincoporated Zambia and Rhodesia to form Greater Rhodesia, With this empowerment Salisbury wanted to extract some revenge on the former constituent state of malawi due to the recent attacks in Johannesburg.... The South African parliament accepted this proposal narrowly winning the legislation 52-48.
