Statement of the Government of the Britannic Commonwealth of Eurasia

The nation of Eurasia is an observant nation, and after noting that one of our neighbours and allies, Vantanas, is in an economic slump, HM Treasury has authorised the transfer of three billion dollars to assist in economic development. Furthermore, HM Treasury also has authorised a plethora of corporations to begin expansion in Vantanas to decrease unemployment rates.

Fifteen percent of the population is unemployed. A large scale defence war has destroyed our economy, and returning soldiers are finding jobs rare. We are afraid that we will be forced to go communist.

In fear that Vantania will become communist, thus adding more to our "red states to nuke" list the South Lizasaurian government urged the SLFR Railroad to offer business and jobs and 1000k in USD to the Vantanian government. International trade will increase, tons of money will be made and there will be more jobs available. Does the SLFR have permission to proceed?

The Vantanian government has compiled a list of things needed, in no particular order, to help lift Vantanas out of this depression:

Food
Water
Clothing
Building Supplies
Money

Also, Vantanas is having soldiers working as mercenaries for other, allied, nations to help raise money for the government.

On another note, Vantanas urges corporations to establish bases in Vantanas to create a more permanent solution to the problem, where as throwing money at the problem is merely a temporary solution.

The Imperial Democratic Republic of Vantanas urges other nations/organizations to help in the situation in Vantanas.

The nation of Eurasia is willing to provide further aid to the nation of Vantanas. We would be willing to deploy troops into your nation to serve as a protective force - Vontanas could focus their funds on modernization of their military or rebuilding the economy.

The Imperial Democratic Republic thanks Skgorria for it's donation to our military. The magazines are likely to be used as fire material, as it is still the Winter season.

The Imperial Democratic Republic also thanks British Londinium for it's continued donations to help rebuild the economy and modernize the military. For now, no troops are needed.

OOC: Not to worry, I can connect the towns on the island, several railroads have tract that doesn't ALL connect. Who knows, your islands might be reachable by suspension bridge or maybe I can build the South Lizasuarian version of the chunnel (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Channel_Tunnel).;)

You may proceed to create railroads on the islands. In the northern island chain, you may connect the islands sucessfully. The same thing goes for the southern island chain. If any chunnels are made, then the first one has to connect the northern most island in the southern chain to the southernmost island in the northern chain. The second chunnel created would have to connect the first chunnel to the main island.
