Nechronian National News: Good Evening this is Daria Nikolaevich reporting. At approximately 7:15A.M. This morning Kirovorad the capitol came under siege by members of the terrorist organization SECT with support from the Red Banner Northern Army. The First Red Banner Army has dug in subsequently dividing the capitol in half. Refugees are leaving the city in droves and heading south to the city Krivy. We take you now to Dmitriy our field reporter. The camera focuses on a tall slender man in his late thirties clothed in a fur collared blue parka and black ushanka. A light dusting of snow blankets the ground as a light flurry falls silently to the ground. Artillery strikes periodically illuminate the back ground and occasionally streams of tracers fling skyward into the darkness. For a moment the reporter is silent as the din of battle droned out his words. His steamy breath hung for a moment as he continued to speak. “……Roshanka Hill and behind me you can clearly see the capitol. ….The fighting is reported to from house to house and block to block. The 1st Guards Rifle Division is holding south…. Power has been cut off and many citizens are trapped without power and in some areas without water…… It is sad….think…We were a unified people….” The signal becomes increasingly more distorted and finally blanks out then returns to Daria Nikolaevich. “We have apparently lost the signal.” Daria talks to someone off camera and then tears begin to well in her eyes. She chokes as she wipes them away and continues her report.
At present the fallowing Politburo members have been confirmed dead killed by either members of SECT or the Northern Army as they assaulted the capital.
Commissar Vladimir Ilyich – Ministry of Spirituality
Commissar Alexey Ivanovich Rykov- Department of Education
Commissar Vyacheslav Mikhailovich Molotov- Ministry of Heath and Welfare
Commissar Yuri Krasnov -National Defense Department
Commissar Joseph N. Gorkovich -Ministry of Commerce

Commissar Nikita Sergeyevich Khrushchev is alive and well in a safe house with Prime Minister Ramius Sr. however the recently appointed Ambassador Serge Lysenko is MIA. along with several other cabinet members.
Prime Minister Marko Ramius Sr. has this message to the Nechronia and the world.”
A recorded message crackles as the words of the message appear on the screen. “People of Nechronia I call upon you to be strong in this our trial. I do not want to ask you to fight you own brothers and sisters on you own soil, but I have to. Members of our own military and members of our citizenship have turned their back on us. So I say this to you think not of them as kin, think of them as your enemy. All able bodied men and woman are called to arms fight as Patriots, fight as Nechronians!”

OCC: is it O.K. if I assume control of some new rebel group that is against both sides of the civil war. I would basiclly be trying to secede from your nation and form my own. It would be called Lithuarona and we would be glad to open up diplomatic relations if we win the war.

Well I'd have an embassy there so I'd be trying to ship in troops to defend the current government, or failing that install my own, similar government.

What I'd do is screw the rebel group and just fund an official taking over behind the guise of "Peacekeeping" or something and just shoot everyone.

I'm organising things with him now.

OCC: Ok here are the sides of our little war, First is the original Government of Nechronia a corrupt Communist Dictatorship lead by Marko Ramius Sr.
The SECT is a revolutionary group fighting for democracy.
Lithuarona has indicated they will be fighting on the side of the a revolutionaries
Kazkahstania has indicated they will be fighting on the side of the original government.
Zonon 8 I’m not sure who you want to help either the original Gov, the Rev. or little Marko Jr. and his boomer but any are fine.

And finally Marko Ramius Jr. who is a Captain 1st rank with a Typhoon class ballistic submarine that disappeared when war broke out No one really knows what he’s up to but some speculate he may be trying defect to another country.
I’m trying to put numbers together for the Nechronian Army and the Revolutionary Army. I am a little unsure of the numbers though. I may need a little help there. Nechronia is a MT nation, but FT is ok by me if you want to use it.
I am open for any suggestions or ideas on this, we’ll just use this thread as the OCC discussion or I can create a new one. It will be my fist time, so be gentle:)

The Republic of the Red Islands

We wish to provide assistance in rebuilding. Of course charity isn't usually free, but the price is a mere free trade agreement. It boosts our economy, and provides your citizens with an abundance of cheaply manufactured goods and fast food franchises. Win-win!

If you are interested, we can deploy the 4th Reconstruction Corps, consisting of 72,000 of our troops and while we may make a small donation our hearts are large. They can arrive rapidly via air insertion and naval insertion of their heavy equipment.

OOC: If you want I can create a big boy thread, with an OOC thread and an IC thread with maps and a better opening write up to give people a better idea of what it is like.

I’m ok with that Kazkahstania has also offered to do a map as well so maybe a joint effort might produce a really great piece of topography. Nechronia is shaped like the Ukraine with the capital being Kirovorad and a few major cities such as Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Chernobyl, and Yalta being cities in Nechronia. The only difference is it is a more tropical climate in the lower regions and higher elevations are forest. I have a map of Kirovorad and some of the more essential military bases and such. I just don’t know what to do with them, I’m somewhat computer challenged.

The military is mixed with mid and late MT mainly a lot of WWII and cold war era tech when I could find it in the storefronts. If you guys need anything else just ask I have tons of info for Nechronia. I’m almost done with the army numbers seeing how some of the regular army decided to side with the revolutionaries. But I think once all the prep is done it will a good RP.

The reasons for deployment were kept inside the walls of the parliament.

The nature of deployment on the other hand, was as abrupt as anything that had come before it.

In this civil war, the Allied States of the Royal Code has sided with the Loyalists, those who stand by the old government.

Armories were emptied, tanks were gassed up, and recon flights began lifting off.

Leafanistan that is a good map, if you want to divide it into administrative districts I’m ok with it I don’t want to overload you though. Hear are the numbers I came up with so far like I said before I’m not too sure of them.

SECT has 2,473,334 combat troops divided between the Army, Navy predominantly marines, and Air Force

The Loyalist Army 2,473,334 combat troops divided between the Army, Navy, and Air Force.
This is based on a pop of 101 million a compulsory service and .07 being part of the military and half of the Nechronian forces siding with the Rebels. This is not the total strength of the Nechronian military I took a third of the military and are using them as logistics support elements such as admin, supply, etc. these are non combat troops. If any of you have sugestions please feel free to give input, i really want to avoid godmoding and such.

Hear is a basic infantry load out

Pudite Prefecture Two, Port Compound PC-0034, The First Move
Deep underground, beneath hundreds of feet of concrete, earth, stone and steel there opened a small room. White walls were bare beneath the harsh light of a small bulb suspended from a short chain in the center of the room. It was waving gently above a small map, geographical and political, of the small nation of Nechronia. On it were drawn a few lines, bisecting the nation, as well as an assortment of circles and numbers, probably concerning troop concentrations, one knowing the Dominion’s penchant for foreign relations…

In the room, standing on three sides of the small, sturdy dark wooden table, was one of the better known faces inside the Dominion, and a pair of less recognized visages. The first, his long silver hair falling down about his face as he inspected the map, was the Emperor’s foreign relations officer, Mr. White. On his left was a recently commissioned Pudite Field Marshal of the Illata Gravo, given the name Kotash Belikovich, for his coming international references. Opposite this man was another officer, this one more experienced, but equally as anonymous to the foreign government. His name was Rodivon Kotov, and he was an Imperial Navy Fleet Admiral.

These three were gathered here, bent over the same piece of cartography, drawn by the actions of a group of rebels many thousands of miles away. Mr. White began by greeting the newly arrived officers, “Soldiers, men of the Emperor, you have been chosen for this operation by my office for your individual talents and specialties we’ve gifted you with. Now you are being put to use…”

Both officers nodded, and White continued, “Belikovich, for you must get used to hearing that, you were chosen to lead the 4th Strelkovy Army Group in this operation, although we doubt that they shall all be required, there’s no harm in that…”

“Admiral Kotov here is going to be your escort, and under his command we’ve placed the Delta battle fleet as well as the Beta, Gamma, Delta, and Epsilon amphibious fleets, totaling, as we know, thousands of ships. Again, some of what foreigners may call ‘overkill’ cannot hurt anything…”

The two nodded, and Kotov spoke, “Sir, what are our objectives?”

White nodded and reached a gloved hand out to the map, “Their capital, and largest, city lies here,” he pointed, “And it is probable that, with their own domestic problems, their soldiers are concentrated here. We have called for a two-pronged attack, following our initial strike.”

White made a few authoritative gestures around the map as he spoke, “Alright, Kotov, you’ll first take a force of your ships in here, cut off this island, and it’s city, Kiev, from the land. Here Belikovich will land with maybe four divisions of naval infantry and subdue the settlement.”

He paused and Kotov nodded. Mr. White continued, “Alright, the rest of the fleet will divide itself between the coasts off of Yalta and Chernobyl, where they will land their respective legions. You, Belikovich, will lead one of these, the Yalta force, west to the capital. A subordinate of yours shall lead the opposite force from their start to meet you.”

Both officers nodded, and Belikovich responded, “Yes sir, and I assume we’ll land the last two legions where Kiev was, with the air support I assume we’ll get.”

“Yes, have faith in the Dominion, Kotash. You shall be provided with the Fifth Fighter Air Army, as well as a bomber force, for interdiction. These will arrive once you’ve taken Kiev, before that, you’ll have to rely on Kotov’s aircraft. And yes, the other half of the army will indeed be kept as a ready reserve. We’ll be bringing up some river monitors; this should be an interesting field test for them…”

Again, the officers nodded. “Alright, the fleet’s should be set to leave in three hours, you should both find hard copies of your orders there. Finally, the 4th Army is already loaded up and ready to depart, as I think should we,”

The men striated up, shook hands, and filed quietly out of the room. The fate of a nation had been decided, deep underground, beneath hundreds of feet of concrete, earth, stone and steel millions of people were doomed to death…

Three hours later, on perfect Dominion time, the roughly two-thousand ship force, designated Task Group One, left port in PC-0034, departing for the week and a half long journey, traveling at thirty knots, for Nechronia. In this massive battle force there were well over two-dozen massive capital ships, some, indeed, of the Calypso class of superdreadnaught, leading the waterline for more than a mile. One of these ships, the Trial by Fire, would see the two force commanders to their new assignment, and took its place at the center of the entirely stark white fleet of ships proudly. Their gleaming, pearly hulls sped through the ocean set out before them, smashing aside wave and wind. The march had begun, and nothing now could turn it aside.

The 4th Army Group contained roughly two-million soldiers, as well as thousands of tanks and armored units. Divided into four sections of either five-hundred thousand men or one-hundred and fifty thousand armored vehicles, called Legions, these men and machines were destined for the newest of the Emperor’s wars, another victory on the Dominion’s tattered battle standard.

Behind them, the political cogwheels of the Dominion were turning. As agents inside the country revealed, there was as of yet no clear predominant side in the civil war, and thus no obvious choice for backing. Thus, as it had been made before, the decision was made to overthrow the current regime, allowing for a government friendlier to the coming occupation…

Mr. White and his office concocted a short statement, issued through field agents of his counterpart, Mr. Grey, the foreign personnel officer, to the command hierarchy of the rebellion. It was not to be trusted in electronic communication between Pudite and foreign computers…

The message reads as follows;

To: Nechronian rebellion leaders
From: Mr. White, foreign affairs officer

It has come to the attention, of late, of our Emperor that your nation has fallen into a period of civil disarray. We have noted that it is in face you who are attempting to seize control of this country, and we are offering our support. The Dominion is a powerful ally, we can serve you well in your quest.

What we offer is a direct military intervention on your behalf. Our soldiers will land in Khmelnytyski, and from there follow your direction. The old government will fall, in tatters, and a new order will rise. Your order, sir, will rise. And alongside this will be the support of the Emperor, and his legions. You are in good hands, officer. Fear not for the future, it has already been decided.

Good day,
Mr. White

Somewhere in the East Pacific a Typhoon Class ballistic missile submarine named Arkhangelsk pushes silently through the dark waters of the early morning.
Captain Ramius: Comrades, this is your captain.
It is an honor to speak to you today, and I'm honored to be sailing with you on the maiden voyage of our motherland's most recent achievement. And once more, we play our dangerous game, a game of chess.

For years, your fathers before you and your older brothers played this game and played it well. But today, the game is different. We have the advantage.
They will tremble not at the sound of our rockets, but at the sound of our silence.

Comrades, our own fleet doesn't know our full potential. They will do everything possible to stop us, but they will only test their own embarrassment. We will leave our fleet behind. We will pass through the patrols, pass their sonar nets, and lay off one of the largest cities in the East Pacific and listen to their rock'n'roll while we conduct missile drills. Then and when we are finished, the only sound they will hear is our laughter while we sail away silently to someplace where the sun is warm and so is the comradeship.
Today is a great day, comrades. We sail into history. The order is given, engage main reactor.
Captain 2nd Rank Vasily Borodin: What is the heading Captain?
Captain Ramius: Heading 210, down 30 degree angle.
Captain 2nd Rank Vasily Borodin: Ay captain heading 210, down 30 degree angle.

The game begins, for Captain Ramius knew of certain plans within his country. Plans to over through the old and supplement the new. He and his crew wanted nothing to do with this war. Ramius had hand selected his crew with exception to Political Officer Ivan Yurevich Putin, they were loyal to him and him alone. This was a problem Ramius had planed for, because no ship leaves harbor without the “Trusted” Political Officer. No longer did they harbor patriotism for the motherland, with no more ties with Nechronia they set out to find a new home.

Off the coast of Nechronia, Pudite Task Force 01, The Approach

As the sun rose on the final day of the voyage of the few thousand ships of Pudite Task Force 01 the fleet began it's maneuvers. First, screaming off the gleaming white decks of the massive aircraft carriers at the center of the formation, came the advanced Strakhen Sokol air superiority fighters. In total, two-hundred fighters took to the air and began wide-ranging patrols circling the fleet in groups of five. They would be on the look-out for enemy ships, planes, and submarines anywhere near to the force, because although it was likely the civil war had reduced to destroyed the efficiency of the target-nation's naval defenses, it could not be certain.

Also preparing for their role in the coming fight were the fleet's amphibious forces, which when all counted totaled over two-million souls and hundreds of thousands of tanks and vehicles. These were contained in the belly of the fleets two-hundred heavy transport ships and amphibious craft. These ships were right now in the process of breaking up into three constituent pieces, with either five-hundred thousand and one-million soldiers in each. These would be the first strikes of the Emperor against the unrest felt in this small country's borders.

The first strike was already underway. Over the cities of Kiev, Chernobyl, Yalta, and Khmelnytskyi was seen, or rather, not seen, a single F-225A Kestrel stealth-bomber. These four high-tech birds would be equipped not with bombs, this time, but with cameras. Although the Dominion does maintain many surveillance satellites that are more than capable of doing this same task, the fact that this tiny, out-of-the way nation requires their attention may have taken a large chunk of their time away from watching something slightly more important than a third-world dispute. Because of the size and the crowded nature of the world and the world above, this would have been too dangerous.

And so the Kestrel’s were brought in. Although the bombs were not present for this operation, each still carried a central bay filled with air-to-air missiles, should any trouble arise with dissident air forces. You could never be to careful...

These pictures would prove to be extremely useful once Pudite troops hit the shore, an occurrence that would certainly be seen in the not-to-distant future...

Ramius Sr. Sits quietly reading his evening paper by the soft glow of his large brick fireplace, when suddenly he is abruptly interrupted by a nock at his front door. Togusa a corporal with the army has been assigned a detail at the Ramius mansion; unfortunately this includes answering the door. After a minuet or so Cpl. Togusa enters Ramius Sr.’s chamber. “Sir, Commissar Khrushchev is hear to see you sir he said it was a mater of national security.” Ramius tipped his paper down to look at Cpl. Togusa with his usual cold glair. “Well don’t just stand there soldier, let the man in, and bring us some coffee.” Cpl. Togusa had a look of great displeasure in the order but fallowed it anyhow.
A short squat man with thinning grey hair enters Ramius Sr.’s study. He is Commissar Nikita Sergeyevich Khrushchev Chairman of the Council of People's Commissars and second to Ramius Sr. himself.
Khrushchev- I am very sorry comrade to bother you at such a late hour. Ramius Sr. - Oh come in my friend it is no trouble at all. Khrushchev- We have a situation, our new submarine the Arkhangelsk has gone missing. Ramius Sr. - What do you mean missing? Khrushchev- Your son took the sub on its maiden voyage, and has not reported for sum time. Ramius Sr. - Hoe long has she been missing? Khrushchev- Eighteen hours, her GPS locator has been turned off, and you know as well as I do that only the Captain and the Engineering Officer have the ability to disarm it.

Ramius shakes his head in amazement then darts his eyes back toward Khrushchev when he speaks again.

Khrushchev - There is also another problem.
Ramius Sr. - OH?
Khrushchev – Members of our military are derelict from their posts, and have assembled north of the capital. Members of SECT are with them.
Ramius Sr. - They are attacking there own capitol, have they gone completely mad?

Khrushchev – It seams as though several foreign powers are mobilizing as well. Pudite ships have been spotted a day away from our cost and a sizable force landed several hours ago on our beaches. Our early warning systems have been sabotaged it is unclear who or what is within our boarders.

Ramius glairs at the oil portrait hanging above the mantel, the mussels of his jaw pulsing in anger and clears his throat before speaking.

Ramius Sr. – Mobilize what forces we have left, and evacuate the city. Declare martial law, shoot any one who does not have proper papers or is a foreigner, and inform the commanders to show no quarter to these rebel or their supporters.

Khrushchev nods solemnly at his orders but deep inside he wondered if this was the best choice. Ramius never asked once what the rebels wanted and did not even bat an eyelash at the thought of sending Nechronians to kill Nechronians. After a few minuets of silence Khrushchev rises from his chair, bits Ramius a good night and leaves him in his study questioning his judgment in this mater and slowly all maters of state. Maybe it was time for a change, time for Ramius to step down, but Khrushchev would never voice these thoughts publicly for it carried with it the death penalty and the stigma his family would have to carry.

OCC: Sorry I meant to post this last night but wasn't feeling well enough to think clearly. Probably still not :p

Coastal Waters of Nechronia, Pudite Task Force 01, The First to Fight...
The gleaming white Pudite fleet had splintered, and in three different directions did its components sail. Firstly, there were two-hundred heavy transport ships, escorted by roughly seventy small escort frigates and a dozen missile cruisers and larger capital ships, including three fleet carriers, were making for the island dominated by the city of Kiev. They would land opposite that city, and muster their force there. This force consisted of two full Legions, that is, one-million mechanized soldiers.

The second splinter fleet consisted of only one-hundred of the heavy transport ships, although this one was much heavier escorted, and well over six-hundred smaller ships, as well as cruisers, battleships, and even a single Calypso-class dreadnaught followed this amphibious force. They would land in the city of Chernobyl, where they would establish a beachhead, and then make for the center of the small nation, as per the operations initial planning.

The final force was made up of as many transports, as well as roughly five-hundred escorts and capital ships, including a pair of Vengeance-class supercarriers, to provide most of the airborne support of the campaign. This force was equally large, a full Legion, although unlike it's counterpart in Chernobyl, this one was the army's Armored Legion, and in Yalta would soon land one-hundred and fifty-thousand main battle tanks.

On the small central island, where the largest force would gather, little trouble was expected. The landing zones were mostly deserted countryside, according to intelligence reports, however, the other two fleets may not have it so easy. The attitude and general status of the cities of Yalta and Chernobyl were unknown, and the locals may or may not allow the Pudite's peaceful entry. We shall see...

This was the Dominion, and they were coming...

Yalta Shore defense battery-
The gleaming white ships of the Pudite fleet could be seen by the shore batteries but they did not fire. The massive Cavalier Coastal Defense guns remained silent. Supreme Command was just as silent, all that the radio operator received was an ear full of squelch. The shore garrison of the 55th Rifles division and 187th Gun Artillery Regiment stood in aw of the massive fleet in Nechronia’s Yalta harbor. Then the piercing siren calling the garrison to arms erupted disrupting the calm of the day and the almost picturesque display of naval power. The question quickly arouse as every Man and women rushed to their stations hoping it was not too late. Why had it taken so long for the sirens to call the garrison to arms, and why could no one reach Supreme Command? Had Nechronia already fallen?

Senior Praporshchik Yuri Radanovich wasted no time in rallying the garrison to arms.
His gruff voice echoed through the concrete fortification. He was a tall well built man in his forties. Streaks of grey hovered above his ears like a crown showing not his age but his yeas of experience.

Radanovich- Load the gun! You there what the hell do you think you are doing this is no time for a smoke break. Get your asses moving or you’ll be fearing my bullets and not there’s! You five there, report to the magazine they’ll be needing runners.

A young private approaches Radanovich with a scared inquisitive look upon his face.

Radanovich- What is it private can you not see I’m trying to run a war here?

Private- Umm, do you think it would be, umm….

Radanovich- Spit it out already or I’ll put my boot upside your head for wasting my time!

Private- Comrade Do you think it is wise to umm, attack they could be friendly?

Radanovich- Friendly? Does that look friendly to you? That is an invasion force carrying soldiers with rifles, bayonets, grenades, artillery, tanks, hell sharp stick for all I care but definitely coming here to inflict all sorts of bodily harm on us. So if you through trying to set up your pansy little tea party for your “Friends” you can go load gun number three. Now move it!
In quick order the guns were loaded and the first volley shot into the air whistling it’s ballad of death down on the gleaming Pudite ships.

Pudite Task Force 01, Coast of Nechronia, Cities of Yalta, Chernobyl, and Kiev
The Pudite fleet off the coast of Yalta slid into the bay, smooth and silent they were as the massive troop ships pulled alongside the great commercial piers. Behind these ships colossal battleships and cruisers sat motionless out at the mouth of the port, and behind them smaller craft waited, missiles and guns trained in the direction of any obvious defenses, but as they were not being fired upon, they held their fire. They would wait, and this city may be a peaceful operation yet...

There were more than fifty amphibious transports beached along the waterfront and waiting at the piers, and then, all at once, all along the coastline, the doors opened... The blackness of the troop bays nearly spilled out, it was complete and utter darkness inside, save for one point... Or rather, thousands of points, all standing exactly six and a half feet above the ground, and then they moved. Marching forward, rank after rank of perfectly ordered soldiers marched into the light. Thick armored plates covered the massive forms of these legionnaires, punctuated by strips of armored fabric covering the joints. Their red eyes stared forward emotionlessly, marching in step, unwavering. No flesh was visible, no element of the human race was obvious, these were different, better... superior. These were the Grazskar Legionnaires, the warrior-fanatics of the Emperor and his right hand abroad.

This nation had felt the step of their jackboot, as had so many before it. Never had any come away unchanged, and the same will be true of Nechronia...

Meanwhile, hundreds of miles to the west, a second invasion force was approaching land, but this one was not able to do so in such silence.

As the coastal artillery roared their welcome, the Pudite ships fell into a wider formation, and continued their march inexorably approaching the shore... The amphibious ships were this time held back, and instead were presented the think armored hulls of the Roydia- and Helina-class battleships and cruisers. These ships were more than capable of taking heavy, thirteen to fifteen inch shells off the belt, and surely these stationary artillery pieces would do the same. Now, it was the Pudite’s turn. The massive sixteen-inch artillery pieces on the ships, with more than twelve on the seven Roydia battleships, alongside the nine fourteen inch shells screaming out of the fourteen present Helina battlecruisers.

Despite any precautions, however, the enemy’s artillery was still potent, as the crew and officers of a pair of frigates, a Grevant- and a Lionfish-class, respectively, discovered quickly. Of the two, the Lionfish-class missile frigate was the heavier built, and although physically smaller, better resisted the shell. Although damage was extensive, she could still float. The same could not be said for her counterpart, and in minutes there was one fewer ship in the fleet.

However, this should be all the casualties the fleet will sustain. Following the massive artillery bombardment from the capital ships, a half-dozen heavy missiles, designed for piercing battleship armor, were launched at each individual gun. Two of these could sink a dreadnaught; six should be more than capable of dealing with single artillery pieces.

And once the landings were clear, the assault could begin. Here, like in Malta, there were one-hundred ships and five-hundred thousand soldiers to be unloaded, and they would be. Aircraft from the Vengeance-, Glacier-, and Athios-class carriers filled the skies, and now learning of this cities hostile attitude, were not at all prevented from shooting at any moving thermal signature along eight miles of coast, and extending two miles inside the city. This artificial perimeter would be the initial staging point of the occupation in the West, and hundreds of helicopters and thousands of combat attack aircraft flew dozens of sorties over the territory, clearing it of any perceived or real threat. No-one would be spared, all were marked for death by the rash actions of a single commander, now soon himself to be relegated to a burned corpse, buried forever below tons of rock, steel, and gunpowder.

The final point of assault was the southern portion of the island that housed Kiev, and there no resistance was met. On this shore would be unloaded five-hundred thousand soldiers and one-hundred and fifty thousand main battle tanks. Two full Legions, twice as much as was unloaded in either other individual landing zone here in Nechronia.

These two Legions would set up their command posts on the southern portion of the island, and form an armed perimeter along their deployed border. Anyone attempting to cross would be warned, then shot. Although at this point the objective still stood, and it was desired that minimal civilian casualties be maintained, should any foreigner choose to forego that right, the Emperor had no trouble in ending his rebellious life.

As the first Pudite boots hit the dirt in Nechronia, it began. Now would it only end with that very boot having been visited upon the mind of every citizen of that state, to everyone’s ruin…

After Pudite’s display of force on the Chernobyl Shore defense battery the coastal defenses were battered and broken. Chernobyl lay just eight miles beyond the beachhead, pockets of soldiers that would offer little if any resistance lay between them and Chernobyl. The question now was Pudite ready for what lay beyond in that city.

Yalta Shore defense battery-
Comrade they are landing troops! A private cries out. What are we to do?
Major Pyotr Kuznetsov Stood on an observation deck of the number four bunker housing the 15 inch defense gun grinning cheerfully. Greet our friends son and lead them to the capital, to victory.

Dominik Titov the Political Officer looked at Major Pyotr Kuznetsov with a perplexed heated glair. This is highly irregular Major we should engage the enemy as any patriot and party member would. He said as he slowly drew his side arm. Soon he felt pressure on the back of his head and that cold familiar texture of steel.

Major Pyotr Kuznetsov – You Have two choices comrade, go down to the magazine with the others in your fold ware you will remain possibly being rescued or escaping. Or die ware you stand it the name of a government that cares little about you or its people and receive not a hero’s grave but a simple hole with the rest of those that fallow you example.

Over the drone of Pudite’s landing craft and air power a single shot rang out and echoed across the grasslands that lay just beyond the beach. Soon after a white flag was raised over the garrison and Pudite soldiers were invited in to share in bottles of vodka and break bread with their new allies for within this group over 90% were Rebels disliking the oppressive rule of Ramius and knowing of Pudite’s intention to land.

Kirovorad-
A large portion of civilians were in the process of evacuating as the Artillery shells rained over the high walls of the capital. These were not the rebels’ shells but those of the 3rd Guards Artillery Regiment. To the Government or more specifically Ramius Sr. insurrection like this was met with not an iron fist but a steel one freshly pulled from the forge and quenched in the blood of traitors including civilians to etch a clear point on everyone’s memory. News of Pudite’s landing spread quickly however the second Army was already enroot to the capital to aid in the defense and the Third Army was on it’s way to aid in the siege.

To Whom It May Concern In The Nechronian Government:

The situation regarding the current situation of your nation has come to our attention and we are disgusted. As if the counter-revolutionary elements present in your own armed forces were not a severe enough problem, a hostile looking Pudite force is on your doorstep. We in Krendakov fear that your nation could be taken over by a group of warmongering imperialists or reactionary capitalists. Either situation would be disastrous, not only for your people, but for the worldwide revolution and for all people everywhere. The counter-revolutionary movements in all nations would gain power from a victory in your nation. This would be a terrible turn of events as it would result in capitalist elements in all communist countries gaining the courage to rise up and try and overthrow their nations’ government. If the reactionaries can win, the revolution could be held back by years, or even decades. This is not an outcome we desire to see unfold.

Krendakov offers its assistance to you in order to defend your country from capitalists and imperialist that would desire to overthrow your government. If you find that our assistance is required, please tell us what you would like us to send and where. If you choose not to accept our assistance and seem to be loosing, we will find Nechronia a new government who will accept our assistance. Anyone who would let pride in the way of their people’s well-being is both bourgeois and counter-revolutionary and must be removed in the interests of their nation and its people. We hope you achieve a victory against both the counter-revolutionaries and the imperialists. The revolution must live on.

Yours faithfully,

To Kazimir Gorchakov (Chief-Commissar of the People’s Federal Republic of Krendakov)

Imperialist, capitalist, and the Inept Ramius Sr. who is increasingly indecisive on these matters are of course not in the best interest of our nation. For the last few days I have been running the country whilst Ramius hold up in a bunker. Your offer of aid is gladly accepted and brings hope to myself and my people. As far as what we need in terms of military assets are as fallows

Infantry to aid in holding the capital and slow if not halt the capitalist push northward.
Air power, we have little in the ways of air superiority seeing that these traitors have commandeered many of them and that the imperialists control a far superior air force the we.
Artillery, Armor, and the most important logistical support would also be greatly appreciated. Plans will be formulated via a more secure means of communications. That is all for now.
Your brother in arms Chairman of the Council of the Peoples Commissars Commissar Nikita Sergeyevich Khrushchev

Pudite Task Force 01, Operational Detachment ‘Kiev’, Athens-class Picket Squadron
As the great bulk of the third operational detachment fleet cruised to the coast of the Kiev island, the hundreds of heavily armed combat ships, on the surface, as well as below it, none of them had any knowledge, or indeed care, of the single small missile submarine and its determined rescuers.

That is, almost none of them. As of yet, the only observers of this tiny drama were the ten small Athens-class picket ships of the 33rd Escort Squadron, at the leading edge of the left end of the massive crescent formation Pudite ships moved in when awaiting a combat.

Now, these ten Athens-class ships had by now (roughly a second having passed since discovery), plotted the small submarine, a small fleet of motored gliders, as well as monitoring the launch of a fleet of large submersible-type ship or boat things. Nobody quite knew what those were...

However, the answer was the same for all. First, and indeed last, they would be sunk. Lifting off from the tiny Athens-class decks, twenty light anti-aircraft missiles were soon bound for the gliders, three-hundred kilometers away. A few dozen kilograms of high explosive would down even the most persistent glider, and the tiny ships would move on. Following these missiles would be the ultimately slower, but quite as deadly, HVC-02 anti-submarine warfare helicopter launched from the deck of the Athens-class IN Horizon Walker. This helicopter towed an assembly of sonar sensors suspended beneath it, and as soon as it detected the submarine it would close to roughly forty kilometers, and then it would release its payload. Roughly one-hundred kilograms of rather explosive material would be bound inexorably for the oh-so-important submarine.

As soon as both the gliders and the submarines were eliminated the remaining nine HVC-02 helicopters would lift off, and the hunt for the large transport boat-craft things would begin. The Dominion did not like being uninformed, and they currently had no idea what to make of this new contraption, and so they were to be destroyed with special vengeance.

This would be but a footnote on the report of the occupation.

OOC: I promise, you cannot get that close to ANY of my ships with your impossible little paradox-machine. Firstly, I will have to say that I am humoring these obviously not feasible craft because whatever they are, I can stomp them, and secondly, I can stomp them.

SONAR will easily detect a massive transport plane-sub-boat-tank WHATEVER, even if my RADAR didn't pick it up while it was still flying. Now, as soon as you were within three-hundred miles of my ships, you will be destroyed. I have a SONAR net closing around you, ten helicopters, between these ten SONAR assemblies, I can pinpoint your location, and either hit you with a torpedo from the helicopters, launch an anti-submarine missile as you approach the fleet, or hit you with a supercavitating torpedo from the escort squadron. Either way, you're dead.

An unarmed, massive, (impossible) boat cannot sneak up on a technologically advanced sensors ship. Please, just die.

OCC: The sub is out in the SP somewhere, it’s not even near port. Besides you want to lift a vessel that is 574 feet long and displaces approximately 48,000 tons.
That just seems a little unrealistic without a Crain ship and a lot of time. But that’s just my thoughts. :)

Pudite Task Force 01, Coast of Nechronia, Cities of Yalta, Chernobyl, and Kiev
The shoreline of Chernobyl was soon a great white sheet of steel as transport after transport hit the shore, disgorging their lethal cargo to an uncooperative populace. Whole divisions landed at a time, and before it was finished, over two-hundred thousand soldiers were deployed, only in this first wave.

These ten divisions of mechanized naval infantry moved to form a perimeter, literally dozens of bodies thick at points, forming a four-mile square landing zone surrounding the beaches. Here supplies would be built up, as well as forces built up, that would facilitate the coming strike into the rebellious interior. Whole battalions mounted in hundreds of SIV-25 infantry fighting vehicles moved around this perimeter. These patrols would permit no trespass, and any intrusion, however small, was met with deadly force. There was no time to question or detain. This was a matter of speed and efficiency, and nothing could be spared for an ignorant or belligerent local.

Meanwhile, behind these levels of defense, the forces were indeed building. Soon another two-hundred thousand soldiers would be unloaded, followed by another five divisions, who would all then, as one, begin the real pacification of this country.

A few hundred miles down the coast, a similar situation was unfolding. Hundreds of thousands of soldiers were being unloaded neighboring the city of Yalta, although here the populace was significantly more hospitable. This, however, would have little effect on the occupiers, whose perimeters were equally harsh. All those already inside the de-facto perimeter, however, were not to be harmed. These civilians, as well as military personnel, were gathered together and garrisoned in a number of large community buildings.

Officers assured these people that they should organize themselves and present a representative, as an officer of the Dominion would soon be arriving who would be in a position to speak with these rebels.

Anyone denounced by these dissenters as a loyalist, however, were detained in a separate building, apart from their comrades. They too were kept safe, although no contact with them would be made.

Finally, on the Kiev island, the first landings were being completed. Preformed with precision equal to both others, these landings would differ from the others in one important way. Here, the first ten divisions were moved out immediately, and began to cross the open countryside between them and their target. These two-hundred thousand soldiers were converging around the city of Kiev where they would encircle and lay siege to the settlement. No passage in either direction, as long as behind them the fleet was still unloading. As soon as the entire fifty divisions of the island were unloaded, the city would be captured, and the reserve solidified.

Air patrols continued over the entirety of the nation’s coast, venturing a few dozen miles inland of the nearest Pudite troops, as well as covering the ocean surrounding the country to a distance of two-hundred kilometers. Naval patrols continued as well, with groups of escort ships and light aircraft carriers making numerous passes of the popular sea-lanes and channels.

This country was completely shut off from the world, physically. The Dominion had closed the gap, and now all that was left was to fill in the rest. Soon the entire nation would feel the cold grasp of the Emperor.
