Hello there and welcome to IATV News: International.

We shall soon be collecting the international votes for the New President of the Aaronian Empire.

This is of course, an emergency election, called after the Imperial take of
STR8PIMIPN1 and the poor reaction of the Alliance of Free States and their leaders, including public arguments with Madame Rosalina Bianco and Mr.David Farrell of Kusha.

Here a quick list of the candidates standing for election to president, of course the winner of the election shall stand as president and acting Emperor of Aaronia only until July 2007, when the 2007 election shall be held as normal.

Madame Rosalina Noisette Lunette Bianco: Current Chief of Sttae of the Empire, and former Minister for Justice, seen as a prime choice, though her public arguments with David Farrell have weakened her popularity.

Lord Xenrat Tyran: Current Vice President, former Minister of Defence. Leader of the Liberationist party and opposer of Madame Bianco, he promises to dissolve the Empire if elected.

Baron Aaron Van Hoosen Housen: Curren Foriegn Minister, former President, and former Steward of the Throne. He is seen as a huge influence at the moment, and his victories over Ouban in the Oubanarian war are seen to be a sign of power. He lost the 2006 election purly due to his loss of control in the aftermath and peace treaties, though this can be seen as ill health.

Madame Nar Woo: Current Leader of the Imperial Senate, Madame Woo is fair, logical and cool. She is seen as one of the most competant women in Aaronian history, the onyl reason that she hasnt made it to President thusfar, can be put down to her satisfaction at her position, though this year, she has chosen to run.

Obviously if the International communtiy DO have any questions , feel free to ask the candidates and they shall answer ASAP.(though please note that the candidates are not required to make speeches or answer questions)

May I also note: The International vote is important, it counts for one fifth of the total election vote.

OOC: If you want to put some more detailed descriptions of their policies that would be cool. Not saying you should, because it's your thread, but I'm trying to be helpful for once :)

BASIC VIEWPOINTS:

Mdme.Bianco: Strong Imperialist, highly patriotic, is seen as fair and just. Incredibly Loyal to all former Presidents. Roz Bianco is highly independant and is not a push-over, if she disagrees with you, you'll bloody well know about it.

Lrd.Tyran: Lord Tyran is often seen as sneaky and underhand, his past is shakey and arouses suspicion, though he has yet to be proved guilty of any crimes. Baron Aaron arrested him on numerous accoutns during the Oubanarian war, on the basis of treason, though he was released everytime. He is stong, capeable and apparently Anti-Imperialist.

Brn.Van Hoosen Housen: Baron Aaron ruled Aaronian during the 1990's and the early millenium, he lead the nation and the empire during the Oubanarian war and is a strong Imperialist. He was and still is highly respected by both the nation and the government, it is thaught that he lost the 2005 election due to his absence as alot of the debates and a disasterous Peace Treaty conference.

Mdme.Woo: Madame Woo is seen as one of the Strongest candidates for election, though many on the senate are fearful that without her to control the Senate, the councils may dissolve into chaos. No other Mistress of the Senate has had to much power over the Ministers, or such authoirty, and thoguh she will make a fine President, she will be sorely missed as a symbol of security on the ambitious body.

Again folks, Questions are welcomed and could actually help the candidate's campaigns here in Aaronia if they are seen as talking to the I. community.

Of course the Presidency is a long standing office for the Aaronians and our Empire. To first answer your query, i feel it essential for you to contemplate the basis upon which the Aaronian Presidency is built upon.
The mighty Aarin himself once said in the scriptures: "The Hight of Logic lies and the base of the structure of Knowledge"

It is derived from this quote, to common Aaronia lore, that Aarin reccomnded that a leader must look to the faults and basics before moving on, and that is what i feel Aaronia has been lacking.

The Simonvian government enquires:

In responce to the Simonvian ambassador's:

This is indeed My first time in the Presidential elections, and I advise that you do read by above quote.

However, should you wish for a more detailed answer, then I do plan to alter the day-to-day running of Aaronian Politcs to allow for a more Multi-CUltural and Multi-Faith society and to work with the Academy of Cultural arts, to develop the Global Knowledge of Aaronian Culture.

The Simonvian government is satisfied with the response given by Mme Woo.

The Government of Ouban wish to know what each of the leaders would do in the following situations:

1) Aaronia is at war with Ouban (Hypothetically).
2) Ouban attack your capital.

We ask you to tell us what orders you would give.

Responses to Ouban:

Madame Bianco: I would use the Mountain ranges in the north to hide large numbers of reinforcementsa dn keep the abttle going until the Ouban troops were driven back.

Lord Tyran: It would be illogical to comment on our defence's in front of potential enemies.

Baron Aaron: I would use all diplomatic and politcal actions possible, and if that did not work, I would surrender the Capital until proper battle plans could be made.

Madame Woo: No Comment.

We are highly Impressed that Baron Aaron takes a much more Political view to us.

We are pleased to see Madame Bianco's resiliance.

We are satisfied with Lord Tyran's preservation of Security.

but we are highly concerned that Madame Woo have no comment to make on this matter.
