Royal Army troops were found engaging in combat manoeuvres near the Andorran border today, causing rumours to escalate regarding a suspected invasion of the small nation. EBG News satellites indicate that three divisions have pierced the border, and are advancing on Andorra la Vella.

"These claims are completed unfounded," stated a Royal Army spokeswoman. "There is no invasion currently going on at this time."

Sir President Sinclair watched his Minister for Defence, Elliot Crompton, deliver his report regarding the invasion of Andorra.

"Our troops have reached the outskirts of the capital, with three divisions erecting defensive positions. We also have an entire wing of RAF aircraft providing air cover. The nation ought to capitulate in no time."

El Presidente and his security were just in the back dress room of the Administative building hosting the state of the Union Address in Panama city. He just happened to get a satalite glimpse of EBG news as it was airing the Andora segment.

"Hmm Delgado this would be very strange, that is like us attacking Belize.You think there is any chance of an actual war between them, isn't andora part of France and Spain? Can you send a dispatch to our military around belize, do some manovers there, and see if there is any response." He then whipes some sweat from his brow and stache... andora, who would have thought.

"Si El Presidente. The Security gaurd salutes and leaves the room to the sounds of one of the arch bishops saying how 'the people and the church are a strong community with one another.'

El presidente then went to the washroom to relieve himself, as his bladder was extra full with the mix of tequila, rum, champaigne and water he had been drinking throughout the day and evening and night.
"Andora..." he said under his breath... " did I just send troops to belize?" soon the sound of urination was all the security gaurd outside the bathroom door could hear as the gaurds face tightened in a grimace of sorts.

As the President listened to the other world leaders an aid from the State Department informed him of developments in Europe. The conference had going good but now he frowned. His face taking on a somber note. He then whispered something to the aid and turned back to the conference, an upset look on his face.
He had just told the State Department to require an explanation from Eurasia. It would be unfortunate if he had to turn against an ally.

Statement of the Government of the Britannic Commonwealth of Eurasia

I would like to assure all nations that there is currently no offensive military action occurring in Andorra. Our nations are merely engaging in joint military manoeuvres as a training exercise, and simulating an invasion, nothing more. We entered their borders with their consent.

Andorra la Vella
1600 hrs

The divisions converged on Andorra la Vella, overwhelming their barricades and defences. Challenger II tanks roared through the streets, shelling the police forces trying to resist, and RAC Curiatii fighters pummelled the remnants of the Andorran military. Godhammer artillery cannons fired conventional shells at any Andorrans attempting to enter the city.

A solid column of troops marched up to the Parliament building, where the Prime Minister was giving an emergency speech before the chamber. Blowing down the doors with explosives, the troops filed into the rooms, executing the guards.

"Nobody move," stated a Eurasian soldier, sweeping the room with his machine gun.

Two more soldiers grabbed the Andorran president and bound him to a chair.

"Subject Charlie-Alpha-Bravo is secure," signalled the colonel leading the insertion. The fighters peeled back, and two of the divisions retreated into southern France.

"Now, Mr. President, you have two options," stated Colonel Sun coldly. "You surrender your nation to Eurasia, and become a provincial governor under the rule of Eurasia....or we kill every single individual in your nation."

"Sir, I believe we have a problem in Andorra." said one of the office aides as he ran into the Presidential Office.

"What!?" exclaimed the President.

"It seems Eurasia has invaded and has hostaged our governor."

"Well, what the hell are our troops doing over there, sleeping!!, Get me a link to Andorra right Away!"

My own nation has taken sides so I think it would be a conflict of interest and unfair for me to rp as Andorra. Perhaps another person. Assuming I'm wrong about it being claimed of course.

The US distrusts the statements of the Eurasian government. Our intelligence agency is looking over our recon photos of the area. If we determine an invasion is occuring, the US will not be pleased.
