(OOC: Well, some Republics, anyway...well...two...but hey, thats a damn good line.)

Our long struggle has ended, and at last, peace has been achieved between the peoples of Elseweyr.
After the death of the Premier of the Elseweyrian Peoples Republic at the hands of rebel factions within that state, and the subsequent 'Great March' of the combined forces of the Republic past the remnants of the humanist armed forces, the Peoples Republic has agreed to the terms of peace set forth by the Republican Council of the Jade Star.
With this victory, the pre-planned 'death' of the Republic has been announced. It has been deemed untennable for the various species of our nation to live together in perfect harmony, therefore, a compromise has been reached. The Republic of the Jade Star as it is will have ceased to exist by the time this message reaches your ears or eyes, depending on the medium which you view it in.
In place of the Republic, we shall establish ten states, based upon the ancient pre-human contact boundaries as far as can be determined, with considerations for modern issues taken into account as well. These states shall be:
The Kingdom of The Rushwood
The Kingdom of Nenyavada
The Kingdoms of Summerset, Belda, and Ruminiar
The Gra'ka'ate of Orsimier
The Shakhdom of Blakenrock
The Goblin Federation (composed of various Goblin states under the de facto leadership of the (variously titled) King of Gundabad)
The United Tribes of Canada (Which happens to mean 'Big and Flat' in Pictsie, and contains no French people at all.)
The Smyrna Federation
The Tsardom of Nova Rossiya
The Peoples Republic of Elseweyr (under new management)
The Atlast Caliphate
As you may realize, it would be virtually impossible for a single government to keep a diverse and, in some cases, rowdy population such as this in any state other than that of anarchy, as such, each state has selected its own form of government, and, after lengthy negotiations, agreed upon boundaries which will, we all hope, remain steady until whatever apocolypse your religion calls for happens.
In addition, the Republic of the Jade Star has been re-established as the govorning body for all 'unclaimed' lands, as well as a mediator for disputes and organizational body for all of the external affairs of the Allied States, including trade and military matters.
The Republic is run by an elected body, consisting of representatives from each state as well as officials from within the Republic itself.
As part of the newly formed alliance, all states provide full control of their militaries to the Allied Armed Forces of the Jade Star, including internal security forces and other armed bodies within their nations, in order to prevent tensions from breaking out into wars within the Alliance.
As such, any attack upon a state of the Alliance is considered as an attack on every other state, and will be met with the full force of the Allied Forces Military.
All military research, development, production, training and equipment comes under the jurisdiction of the Republic.
Those nations with embassies to the Republic do not need to worry about being flooded with requests from the various member nations of the Alliance, as the Republic handles all the external affairs of the Alliance, only one embassy will be required, although some personel juggling may take place in accordance with new policies.
