Announcement from President Kazansky and his Cabinet

You know Allanea's government has little power.

You know we must have lots of free time.

But have you asked yourself – what do we do in that free time?

Part of what we do is play music.

So, ladies and gentlement, the Allanean President presents to you his band – Alex and the Cabinet!

Who are the members? The lead singer, is, of course, yours truly, Alexander Kirillovich Kazansky (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v42/allanea/kazansky.jpg). I also play a portable synthesizer.

On the electric guitar plays Victoria Sheshet, the Secretary of State, and the bass is taken by the Attorney-General, Melinda James. The drums are handled by Thomas Morrison, the Secretary of Defense, and Ms. Miss America (actual name), the Secretary of the Treasury, will man the keyboard.

Why am I informing you about this?

Because I am going ON A GLOBAL TOUR!

You've heard it right, ladies and gents! Alex and the Cabinet are going on a tour!

We'll start off with a live performance at the Liberty-City Football Stadium – and go on to your nation's capital! Call your city officials – or private bigshots – today, and ask them to arrange for a performance of Alex and the Cabinet today!

This will also mean that our album – called, in a blast of originality, 'Alex and the Cabinet' – will be on sale starting from the beginning of the tour!

With the Kraven War continuing unabated and no end in sight, the people are likely becoming depressed. It might reawaken their patriotic spirit and love of freedom to have the Allaneans visit our nation while we are struggling for our homes.

We would be honoured for the band "Alex and the Cabinet" to come to Najaster, Kahanistan, to perform live here. While Allanea is now controversial in Kahanistan, the people will not likely object to the Allanean songs glorifying the freedom our nations continue to fight for, though it costs us all we hold dear.

Kahanistan was under siege. Millions of Kraven Capitol Police threw themselves at the defenses of the Soviet Republics and died – and the defenses collapsed, one after the other, under the sheer body weight of thousands and thousands of dead Kravenites. The desert was covered in black and red – the bodies and blood of Capitol Policemen.

And yet, Kazansky and the Cabinet arrived.

On a heavy Ekranoplan with Cute Bunny Burger Corporation markings they dodged through the Mediterranean, leaped up the shore, and finally stopped the immense craft in the Yarkon Creek, a bit upriver of the Yarkon Park – the place where rock concerts have been traditionally held in Old Israel.

Now, the very same thing was going to happen here again. On the same stage where Subliminal once did his famous rap performances, now stood Alexander Kazansky and his team – Thomas Morrison in a camouflage suit with the insignia of the Liberty-City Constitutional Militia, Victoria Sheshet in a skimpy leather-and-metal outfit, her hair sticking out at impossible angles and painted in atrocious colors, Miss America with long, green hair and an even more skimpy two-piece bathing suit colored like the Allanean flag, and so forth.

Kazansky himself was dressed in black from head to toe – the clothing working only to underlnie his snow-pale skin.

And so, he laid his long, slender fingers on the keyboard of the portasynth, and the music began.

At the sides of the stage, Allanean Assault Loudspeakers were mounted – the same used on Allanean tanks and deployed with infantry. Designed to cut across the din of battle, to stun the foes of Allanea with the sheer volume of music and to encourage her friends with it's rhytm and tune, the devices were small – but extremely powerful.

We are the ones who stood on the barricades,
we are the ones who fought on the fronts,
we are the ones who starved in the bunkers,
we are the ones who paid all the costs!

This is our truth, this is our sacrifice,
this is our Victory – too!
This is our honor, this is our Victory!
It can't be sullied by you!

The words and tune spoke about rebellion, about sacrifice – no matter who made it, Allanean or Kahanistani, Praetonian or Menelmacari, man or elf. It spoke to the Kahanistani about their honor, about the nation's wide deserts and rugged heroe, about their spirit and about their liberty.

We are the one who beat off the enemy,
we are the ones who sacked their coasts,
we are the ones who overthrew royalty,
we are the ones who paid all the costs!

“Kahanistani! I dedicate to you this song and this concert!” - screamed Kazansky, pausing the feverish work of the fingers on the keys for only a second – and then, the music resumed anew.

To Alex and the Cabinet

There is just no way I can let your band make it's way across the globe withou a pit stop to our litle country. The concert in Kahanistan was nothing short of magical, and Ironwell needs that heat that only your band can bring. I have a few friends in the Ministry of Culture and I know I can get you into the Grand Forum (The large meeting hall of stone and iron the Senate meets in.) in our capital city of Republica!

Please let me know as soon as possible if you accept the invitation, I guarantee full rock star treatment.

Allanea,

Kazkahstania would like your tour to visit our great country!

Whereas where other nations prefer their gigs in great stadiums in their country, we would prefer something slightly more symbolic of ours nations culture.

Therefore we open the doors of Studio 24, a small grunge venue in an abandoned vault. This would be perfect for such a big-style band with our small nations culture.

We hope to hear from you!
