After a cup of tea, I realised that the nation of Eurasia is in dire need of foreign investment. Whilst our economy still soldiers on, and domestic industries are thriving, I find it alarming that so few foreign corporations are opening their doors in our nation. Therefore, I will be offering immense business incentives to foreign corporations that open in Eurasia: tax benefits, etc. As a test of this, the City of Kensington has utilised the process of compulsory purchase to expand its primary business district, Canary Wharf. As President, I invite all businesses of the world to open there. I look forward to a future of economic prosperity for Eurasia and for the businesses that expand in Eurasia.

Normally Aesonic interests would be glad to expand, but considering the constant unrest and warfare that seems to plague Eurasia, we fear too much for the safety of our citizens.

IBN Industries is interested in opening a branch in Eurasia, but before we do so we have several questions.

1) Is there a minimum wage and if yes would we be able to bring in workers from No Taxes that could work under the minimum wage?

2) After the tax benefits, how much will the tax rates be?

3) Does Eurasia have any laws prohibiting or regulating industrial waste and/or pollution and if yes what are they?

No Taxes: There is no minimum wage, but the laws do require that employees recieve fair compensation (i.e.: a worker that performs superbly makes more, by default, than a worker that performs poorly). Tax rates after the deductions is ten percent, compared to a standard tax of twenty percent. Said tax is only charged if the corporation's profits in Eurasia are greater than one and a half million pounds sterling. In regards to industrial waste/pollution/environmental laws, no industrial waste is allowed to be dumped into a river, ocean, or sea without prior approval. The Eurasian government assists businesses with proper disposal. In regards to air pollution, laws become hazy; pollution is not as strictly controlled. Eurasian authorities will monitor air pollution from a business, and only if the amount of pollutants emitted pose a serious health risk will the business be ordered to reduce pollutants.

All thoughout Eurasia We Buy It Inc. subsidaries continued their strong hold on the Eurasian Economy, as it had during the occupation. It would be a long while before any of these foreign companies managed to start producing, let alone making profits in Eurasia. The fierce competition between Eurasian Royale Group Plc. and Skyian We Buy It Inc. continued to drive prices lower.

However, this competition while healthy for the weakened Eurasian economy it would undoubtably drive the smaller weaker corporations out.

However this meant good new for We Buy It Inc.'s industial subsidaries, as foreign companies were driven out of Eurasia by the ever growing competition, We Buy It Inc. would snatch up the already developed real estate.

Still, We Buy it Inc. expanded North Point Naval Works opened a fourth shipyard in the city of Hammersmith, built for the construction of frigate to destroyer sized ships (80-280m), while Union Heavy Industries and Aurora Infantry Armaments opened up shops, research departments and factories in and around the city of Argyll, while Super Nova Semi-Conductors opened a large research and construction department, partly because of the abundancy of labor, and that the Skyian Government had been placing orders for railguns and labor was cheaper here. Also, BioResearch Incorporated opened several medical laboritories, military research centers and hospitals throughout Eurasia.

Huge advertising campaigns were begun, mostly from companies like Zoom, Zoom Automobile Manufacturing, and Edwards Aircraft Corporation opened large factories and research departments in several cities in the north. We Get It There Shipping started an expansion of it's shipping terminals in Devonport and Worchestor, allowing Comberth Ship Works to build several commercial and private shipyards, offering low cost ship building to Eurasian Citizens and Corporations.

Sky Tech Electronics, Ultra Food Manufacturing, and Yum Yum Food Services began large ad campaigns and built new factories and outlets all throughout Eurasia. Sky Tech offered low-cost high quality electronics and well paying jobs to Eurasian Citizens.

Alot of these campaigns were funded in part by Skyian Governmental funds and taxcuts levied by lobbyists. While many politicians thought that the key to keeping Eurasian in line was economic warfare, or rooting themselves deeping into the Eurasian economy and banking system with investments that if the Eurasians ever did anything stupid that the Coalition could easily cause the economic collaspe of Eurasia, as they had during the invasion and occupation.

However, their was also resources to think of, Black Gold Corporation, an oil drilling, refining and selling company, had bought up abandoned oil rigs and wells during the invasion and occupation of Eurasia and imbeded themselves in the economy, began a large ad campaign as well as beginning the drilling of new oil wells and the opening of refineries. This, coupled with the tapping of several oil and mineral deposits in Whyatica and Altanar, dropped oil prices to a new all time low, at merely $17.50 USD for barrel of gasoline and $19.50 for barrel of diesel, or $15 per barrel of crude oil. This equated to a price of around $0.42 per gallon. This would of course increase with more refinement and taxes at the pump.

Several companies also opened national headquarters in Eurasia, as they had done in Whyatica years earlier. This also tapped into the office worker and IT work forces.

All throughout Eurasia wages rose at a good rate, but this growth could cause inflation if the Eurasians couldn't handle it. Also, Skyian Citizens and even the government purchased Eurasian Government bonds, with amounts in the billions of dollars, maybe even over a trillion.

We Buy It Inc. profits began to soar as stock traders throughout the world began to take notice and bought millions of stocks in the subsidaries as We Buy It Inc. began to prepare their annual profit summary report for the Eurasian Market, it was estimated to be in the low double digit trillions of dollars.

Economics at it's best.
