Suddenly shots rang out, the dense jungle like bushes lit up with disruptor fire and automatic rail gun fire, shoots wised and zoomed by, bolts of green energy flew in a constant stream from hidden rifle bores, rail cannon fire bounced off of the solid ground and hit nearby rocks destroying them completely, dust and rock filled the air, the entire area was covered by smoke , federal troops flanked and moved around in a circle, they maneuvered swiftly cutting through trees and muddy streams. All the fire was consecrated on scaled beast a couple of meters high, there barbaric nature had made Union tempers boil over as they sacked and pillaged colonies on the planet. Several we're immediately struck down by fire, there bodies vaporised in green, white dust as disruptor's fired at them intestinally, solders looked at each other giving hand singles as they maneuvered out of the bushes quickly shooting there rifles recoiling as they fired again and again pouring massive amounts of fire power in to these beast, killing them, mangling them as the barbarians attempted to fire back modified energy weapons, bolts of laser fire shot back at the troops as they unleashed torrent after torrent of suppressive fire, green bolts lighting up the small area like fireworks on new years eve, noises of gun shots and energy fire rang out around the planet as this was repeated throughout the planetary body.The fleet of Terran ships in orbit sat in defense of the colony, two cruisers several new avenger attack ships and a battle ship, gently shimmered in the bright yellow light of the star , there bodies moving along gently as there engines pushed them along ominously floating over the planet, The Constitutional Imperial flag painted on the sides of the ships as they floated gently. The main star base of the system floated above the planet like a sentry defending its city from attack, its powerful cannons constantly looking for targets and its shields erected. Suddenly groups of transports began descending in to the planets atmosphere, they contained mechs, powered assault suits and tanks , and access personnel , they moved rapidly down to the planet mobilizing in colonies the fleet orbiting covering the large gleaming chrome metal transports that we lit up buy the heat of the air on the planet. Several older Arleigh Burke class destroyers floated gently in the outer system, there updated weapons shields and amour made them a match for most modern vessels
