Edward Thatcher was just a simple aide for the U.S. Embassy in Russia. The field of international politics was stressful and at sometimes dangerous. The brutal Russian winter sets in as Russia tightens its' grip on oil pipelines leading into Eastern European countries. The Ukraine, Belarus all begin to feel the Russian Bear tearing at them as they suffer. It's a clear political move more Russian oil companies and the government to reign control over the flow of oil. The U.S. began to put pressure on Russia as tensions mount between the two nations. Work at the embassy went on as usual as diplomats went in and out, powerful figures in politics and even business. The Russian police find his wife and her ''supposive'' lover dead in the mysterious man's house. Thatcher is devestated at the news but is quickly approached by the authorities of both the U.S. and Russia. Now, world news put the spotlight on him as he struggles to prove his innocence as an unseen group pulls the strings from the shadows. A trail of lies, deciet, and murder follow him as he races to uncover the truth and clear his name. But he stumbles upon a shocking secret which certain groups will kill to keep secret. As tensions mount in Russia the cold war threatens to heat up again.

Basically, Thatcher's wife and lover are found dead. He is blamed for the murders and races to clear his name. Now, Thatcher and his wife were locked in a dead end marriage and both wanted it. There was a Russian woman that Thatcher was seeing who disappears after the murders and seems to be the key to proving his innocene. Powerful players are involved in an international conspiracy. It should be a good rp.
