What, do you mean me? Anything that starts out with an email, and end in a footer (up to this point) will be considered an IC post.

A new nation known as Horelaco is basically a part of my country between Corellen's. It is now officially a government we both control, and connects Corellen's country. Please update that when you get a chance.

I'll need to know what RL nations are involved. Is it the entirety of both of your territories?

OOC2: I still like your idea of a World Council. The part about mandatory laws I'm not so fond of. I'd rather have a toothless world council. We could debate about important things and create very serious sounding resolutions. It could be modeled after the US Congress....

But seriously, WG would consider joining your World Council if you tweak the proposal a bit.

Please read the next message. My nation doesn't actually know what it sent out, because some person came in and wrote a letter to all them people in my nation's 'address book'.

I'm guessing you're looking at this on your phone, or you're an antique lover whose got a 386 PC with a 16 bit ISA card, running Windows 3.1, from about 1988.

I guess I missed this post. You must have a different set of 16 colors than me, or can tell the difference between really small differences. The computer is Windows 2000 without a sound or graphics card. I'm not sure when it was made, and it's running a Pentium 4 Processor.

Looking at the maps, there is a lot of unclaimed territory. I'd like everyone's opinion on what to do about it. Should we...


1) Leave it alone, in case more people sign up.

2) Open it all to additional claims, and close the RP to new members.

3) Allow members to RP annexations, invasions, etc.

I agree with Havvy, but I think that invasions of NPCs should be regulated closely and that someone not involved with the invasion should RP the NPC.

Oh, and by any chance, can somebody help me out with a link directing me to some of the weapons that we could use in this era?

I don't want to be stuck with MT weapons because I can't find any good places for tech on 2034.

Oh, and if their are laser weapons, can you tell me how they manage to stay on Earth since from what I can tell, they wouldn't have a mass, and as such, could easily leave the atmosphere very quickly, (since Earth moves very quickly) or would hit the Earth. Every once in awhile, a person could be ever so unlucky to have it so the laser hits themselves instead. I don't see how a laser weapon could work, or I am missing something big on lasers.

I may just do it that way. Having someone else RP the "invadee" is a good idea. What weapons are permissible basically boils down to: scramjets, railguns, anything MT, R&P on lasers, suborbital transports, nonlethal stuff like neuronic disruptors, missle defense systems (a la SDI), improved body armor, things like that. Think "Blade Runner" tech. The problem as I understand it with lasers is that they require a very large amount of energy to be a lethal beam. Getting that into a hand-held weapon is going to be a bitch.

I have roleplayed from the AP, a nuclear crisis on the IC thread. I thought it was about time for another nuclear mishap. If it's not a nuke, than at least something.

Anyways, somebody gave a thought to the "World Council" idea that was sent by a person that wasn't suppose to be there. My government has no clue on what the message said, since they didn't check it before foolishly deleting the email account. I would like this to escalate into something big, possibly in control by another nation that's not mine.

Anyways, I don't understand how lasers could possible hit their target more than 0.1% of the time. Are they influenced by gravity, because if they aren't, they would never really work, and yet, somehow they do.

What I want to know is how do they work?

I agree with No Taxes. Havvy, you can't make decisions like that for someone else's country. If you wanted to do that, you should have e-mailed or TG'd him to discuss it so that he could have played the hacker, if he so chose. You need to find a way to correct this. If you wish to continue the hacker plotline, the authorities in Havaco had better find out rather soon that it was, indeed, an inside job.

Well, according to some emails, the entire story was fabricated to gain some attention to HIP. It almost caused a war, so the media and the president are going to offer an apology along with the leaders of FAS for things they did.

Folks, we need to remember to keep OOC discussions here, not the IC thread. I still don't have much time to post right now, hopefully this weekened.

Heh, if the thread is entirely OOC, I will usually respond to it here. Otherwise, I like mixtures of IC/OOC, and OOC is giving the correct information of what really happened.
