Mr. Magnus is descended from the line of Magnusson (nephew of Haakon V) of Norway.
The direct line of which has been among the people's of Skibereen for nearly eight centuries.
The Magnus family brought with it wealth and aquired more in the new markets of Skibereen.
Over the years the Magnus family was among the many great influences in what has become the Irysh-Finegall culture.
Bernard was educated at New Dublin University, where he received several degrees. Having completed Doctoral work in History, Politics, and Economics. While only recieving his Doctorate in History, Bernard is considered to be one of the foremost economists in Skibereen.
Bernard also served as an Officer in the Skibereenian Military-(Red Hand Faction) for six years.
Bernard distinguised himself as leader and recieved the medal of the Golden Harp for Execution of Duty above and Beyond the call.
(It should be noted that the Skibereenian Military is loathe to award medals of combat merit).

The Jade Star

Currently the Jade Star is considering reinstating its ancient titles of nobility, as they were abolished during the Beachead incident, leaving a two-generation gap (in the case of the Elven nobility), between the 'official' nobles and the current ones. However in one weeks time the Republic Council will be voting on the issue and generally seems to approve of the restoration of property and titles.
As such, we present Vilarada Anutwyll, currently anticipated to claim the title of Duke of Anutwyll, or rather, the Elven equivalent which is quite long and hard to pronounce.
The nobility of Anutwyll can trace their line back just over a thousand years, with a clear and verifiable family tree backed up by a number of relatives going back a few hundred years.
They are currently re-assembling their wealth and making a healthy profit in the arms industry, Anutwyll having been partially converted into an arms manufactory during the human occupation of that city and its environs. The factory currently employs some five hundred workers of various species, and currently plans for expansion are being strongly considered.
Vilarada himself is overseas at present on tour, having recently finished a course of study in Human/Non-Human relations, to suppliment his previous education in the underground schools maintained by Elvish (and other species, of course) slaves.
He has spent some twelve years prior to this engaged in guerilla activities against those occupying our country and as such has excellent martial experience, and has proven to be an excellent shot himself. Unfourtunatly he was wounded in a raid on Smyrna recently, but will recover in time. His command was the 12th Rangers, whose recent raid on Smyrna you may have heard of. The capture of a number of Elseweyrian ships with minimal casualties on the part of the Rangers themselves.
He has expressed great interest in further overseas travels, and has established a clear succession to his post in Anutwyll should be be accepted.
As with all Elves he can be expected to live a significant period of time, currently in his 40's he should live another 2-300 years, barring accidents and ill health. The Scandinvan government no doubt appreciates the great benifits of experience in governing.
Of course we appreciate the fact that some nations do not fully appreciate the intervention of non-humans in their politics, and will withdraw our offer should our candidates species be an issue.

So sorry, this will not work out.:(

Quinn Colin Larkin is of noble descent, through the House of Ulster, when his family was expelled to Siap because of the 1608 act of Union. His family retained noble status, and was granted Siapian title, and married through several Siapian families, until the nobility was abolished. Quinn's family reinvested its finances into a large chain of hotels and Casinos, and is also the owner of the Larkin publishing house.
Quinn refused all of this and wished to prove that he could make it on his own. He was a mediocre student, but compensated with a vitality in pursuing education on his own terms. When he was conscripted into the military, he quickly worked his way up to Intelligence, where he currently works today.
Quinn graduated from college with a double major in military history and world religions. He continued his service in the military proving to be a tactical genious.
Not long ago, there was a communist uprising in a foreign land, and a conglomerate of Siapian corporations offered him a commission to halt the uprising. The operation was a rousing success, and Quinn received a large commission to establish the World Centrist Authority Party, a center line party that values strong military power and service to the state. Quinn is in the process of retiring so that he can focus his time on his current political endeavors and marry Princess Elizabeth of United Kingdom 2.
He personally has advised in many political situations, from which he has gathered many fees, which he used to create a large hedge fund that is one of the top players on the Siapian markets. Most of his profits go to his political organization, however his last year's income tax return indicate that he paid taxes on $150 million dollars in dividend taxes alone. He has very few personal accounts, but owns a large diversified variety of municipal bonds that pay interest to him.
We ask that he be added to the candidates.

Official Communication From the Government of Skibereen
To His Majesty Emporer Reginald of the Scandinvans--
From the Office of the President of Of Skibereen
Your Majesty,
It has brought to my attnetion an to the attention of various Ministries that a citizen of our repubblic has applied for a title of nobility in your nation.
While reviewing the requirements for said title, noted features are and I quote "Must swear an oath of featly to Emperor Reginald of the Scandinvans."
and "Must be loyal to the Emperor Reginald above all." this is a matter of limited concern for Skibereen, and quite possibly opportunity for both of our respective nations.
The Magnus Family are historically part of the founding Families of Skibereen, as well the Magnus family is well respected and admired by the citizens of Skibereen for their extensive philanthropic works and tradition of military service.
In short the Magnus family is considered and institution in Skibereen and it would be considered a great loss to it to the title offered.
After careful consideration and discussion with my Ministers I have determined that a solution to our predicament is this...
Should Bernard Magnus be granted the the title of Lord, and take appropriate oathes, that he should as well be named the Ambassador to the court of the Scandinvans of Skibereen and the Ambassador to the republic of Skibereen for the Court of the Scandinvans(or what ever the appropriate title may be).
I assure you that if it were any other man I would make such an unorthodox suggestion, however I believe this may place Mr. Magnus(should he receive the title) in a position to open a great many diplomatic doors with great expedience and clear efficiency.
Mr. Magnus' opinion is held in high regard on a multitude of matters with the Skibereenian government and among the Irysh-Finegall people.
The trust and respect for the Magnus name would be transfered to trust and respect for dealing with your nation.
I see this as advantageous intially for trade and with a potential for growth in stronger cultural ties.
Please while consider Mr. Magnus for the title we ask you consdier this suggestion.
I am admittedly over a barrel as Skibereen does not give titles of Nobility we have no counter offer to make Mr. Magnus.
