Confederate national conferance, Richmond, Virginia.

John sanderson felt like he was standing on a pedestal infront of around 100, representatives from all the confederate states.

His supporters demanded a rousing speech full of patriotic fervour to re unite a now divided and almost apathetic nation.

Whilst his opponents expected him to flop and excrete old rhetoric in a vane and desperate attempt to re- establish the Third Confederate republic.

the exact proportion of opponents to supporters was estimated to be 50-50 and many seats were not filled as apathetic state representatives were too busy looting the spoils of a collapsed nation to care about re unifying it.

John Sanderson knew the title of the meeting was for sheer posterity as many Confederate senators simply cannot conceive that the Confederation can be reborn again...

This made his speech more harder.........

Patrick Donelly- chief opposition representative and governor of the former Confederate state of Kentucky spoke up first to the self proclaimed new "president" of the Confederacy.

"we have seen the rise and fall of two self righteous "confederate republics" before this and each one had that initial spark that promised to enrich one group of people of the Confederacy whilst at the expense of the subjecation of another, the State of Kentucky wants nothing more to do with what was at best a loose amalgamation of associated states that were held together by Slavery and oppression."

The speech by Donelly drew an interesting mixture of Intrigue, (primarily from the Representatives from Kansas and Indiana and a tirade of frank rebuffals and abuse from the Conservative states of Missippi, Alabama, Texas and Louisiana.

"The State of Alabama would like to pledge its full and unconditional support for the new Confederation" Governor of Alabama John Blackwell chimed in riding in on a wave of angry protestations from the Alabaman and Texan Camps.

The conferance was going as well as expected, With vicious and egotistical M.Ps blurting out disparaging remarks about another representatives state, personal motivations and even spousal promiscuity insinuations.

It was the Representative from the State of Ohios turn to speak.

"first of all let me congratulate the governor of Alabamas quick response to rejoin the confederacy,"

The Ohio representative said with Mock incredulity.

"Governor Blackwell has just proven that unwavering conformity to a segregationalist and morally repugnant state does not require a second thought on his governments part."

This got supportive laughter from the pro independence camps of both Ohio and Michigan,


"We have run a recent state wide poll on whether Ohio should cede from the Confederacy and the results indicated that a staggering 94% of all Ohian citizens voted for this sucession bill with immediate effect. The results say it all gentlemen."

The Representative then sat back down to his delegated table.

On that last comment, The Speaker of the House ordered the Conferance to re convene in two days.


Outside the national assembley building in Richmond, The streets were awash in peaceful protest demontrations and frantic television and newspaper journalists jostling with each other for a piece of the pandemonic action...

John Blackwell took advantage of this opportunity and agreed to be interviewed by multiple journalists simultaneously as he walked down the steps of the national assembley to his waiting Jefferson Limosine. (cannot be a Lincoln now can it? lol)

His awnser to their questions was simple and to the point. "I have President sandersons blessing, Alabama will officially be re intergrated into the confederacy within the week." that is all" he said with little emotion as he was ushered into his waiting Jefferson and sped away.

We are contemplating membership in the FOAM alliance so therefore we think an alliance with EATO would contradict what FOAM stands for.

Just as John Blackwell ominously predicted, The state government of Alabama in Montgomery was disbanded within 1 day of the Conferance re convening.

an initial 1700,Confederate national guard moved in from their military garrison in Vicksburg to the state capital of Alabama, montgomery.

non passive resistance to Confederate troops entering the capital Mongomery was practically non existant as the peoples have been with the confederacy since its inception in 1861 and did not know any other way of life.

However the sudden arrival of confederate troops in Alabama once more provoked a certain apprehension and perhaps even Ire in some people as a lot of alabamans were worried about another Hapharzardly created confederate nation promising the earth but delivering eventual anarchy and bitter dissapointment.

However the crowds watching the procession were kept deliberatly diverse so the state could show comprehensive support for re intergration into the Confederacy.

many people were turned down admission into the main square of Montgomery because of their polical persuasions. (I.e the wrong ones.)

Blacks as usual were prohibited from even coming close to a celebratory procession in the central city.

OCC: No offense taken, but for the record me and the previous owner of the confederacy got along pretty well. But, yeah I know what you mean.

Back at the conferance

The conference re convened to the same promise and diplomacy it had offered two days ago

(which was to say not much headway was being made in terms of a compromise between the deep south states and the central confederate states.)

John Sanderson audaciously pronounced himself president of the "Reformed Confederacy" despite the fact that his present Jurisdiction only presides over less then half of the actual confederacy.

(In the silent Autocracy that dominates confederate politics this came as nothing new, Texas was by far the Largest and most powerful state in the confederacy, The nation was a darwinistic experiment. "survival of the fittest" kept the more "liberal" minor northern Confederate states in line with national segregation policy.)

John sanderson beckoned Blackwell to the Presidential Podium where they shook hands and signified the political reunification of Alabama to the scrutiny of the Nothern Confederate representatives and to the ponderous contemplation by the Governors of Georgia and Florida.

In Birmingham, Alabama

by the end of the week of deliberations in Richmond ,5000 Confederate troops and two Tank (Did the confederacy have the License to build Abrahams, Humvees, e.t.c.?) divisions had firmly lodged themselves in the State of Alabama.

Though to stark contrast with the Jubilations in Montgomery the citizens of Alabamas largest city were far more apprehensive to the arrival of Confederate troops.

The Civil servants even barred the head of the confederate assimilation army, General Augustus Richards from entering the Municipal townhall untill they heard confirmation that the State indeed was being assimilated to the confederacy.


The Confederate army not wishing to Infuse the cities allready scrutinising population with more reasons to hate and dis trust them waited with almost patrachial patience outside the ornate gates of the city hall.

Finally after two hours Augustus Richards and his chief of staff were allowed the keys to the city and the Confederate flag was raised above the roof of the Municipal hall.

Chester Hagan looked at a map of the former CSA. Anarchy was everywhere. Most of the state governments barely had control of the people, like the case of Alabama. His eyes moved up toward the north. They were directed toward Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan. Unlike the propaganda of the "Reformed" CSA Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan had independence, but was slowly tearing itself apart. Chester wasn't going to sit back and watch it happen. Chester Hagan was the General of a force that was going bring back this states to their former glory. The name of the force was the Midwest Militia. The group was a paramilitary primarily located in the Midwest states of the CSA. The Midwest Militia was broken down into three groups the Indiana Militia Corps, Michigan Militia Corps, and Ohio Militia Corps. Each corp was headed by a colonel and took care of their own states. In all each corps was made up of about 4,000 men. Chester wanted to take back this states. Looking up he looked at Colonel Tyler Harrison of the Indiana Militia Corps.

"Colonel Harrison how has Indiana been looking so far?"

Colonel Harrison coughed for moment then answered.

"General Hagan we have captured the air force bases of Grissom, Terre-Haute, and Fort Wayne with barely any resistance. Also we found out that some of the former CSA troops have joined our cause. I have deployed them to the border to enforce the independence of Indiana. This campaign has been going very well sir. We are taking light causalities and control most of Southern Indiana. Sir might I ask how the other two corps are doing."

"Well Colonel Harrison, from what I have heard we control most of Southern Ohio and Colonel Blaine is getting ready to mount an offensive to take back Columbus from anarchy. Colonel Hancock of the Michigan Militia Corp has had an easy time with Michigan. Barely any resistance and is almost toward the Indiana border. Colonel Harrison everything depends on you bringing back Indiana to a good condition. Once we have stopped anarchy in this states we shall make a better country, a Federated Midwest States of America."

Well just because your not one to join EATO doesn't mean anything. Also I am a member of FOAM too. I don't let it conflict with my Government.

John Sanderson was optimistic about the reformation of the confederacy, not only did he govern the most powerful state in the Confederacy, but he also had un paralled support from the States of Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama.

He was left with his thoughts in his presidential Jefferson Limousine as it cruised down the main highway to Richmond where he was to be officialy "In augurated" as president of the Confederacy.

He did permit himself a smile however as his masterplan was about to be put into action......

The City Center of Richmond betrayed the rapid urbanisation and modernisation of the outter city with considerable contrast. The city centre was brilliantly preserved with Immaculate flower gardens and well preserved cobbled roads which go past an imposing statue of general Stonewall Jackson,

However one tradition did not need much nostalgic remeberence were the impoverished black street cleaners and gardeners that were taken into the city centre at 3:30am and taken out at 9:00am so the good city folk did not take offense at the very sight of them.)

John Sanderson had to get in traditional confederate carriage for the next half mile to parliament steps as the "central city" was totally devoid of cars and any other motor vehicle due to the Impact of congestion on the historic monuments.

Upon reaching the steps of parliament flanked by a guard of honour he made his way to the Parliamentary balcony to make the traditional Speech of aceptance of office despite the fact that he was meant to be at the conferance, Sanderson had other plans...

the gathering crowd outside the parliament building was a teeming morass of pre dominantly working class right wing confederates.

On an ambience of silent approval by the crowd below the balcony, Sanderson made his speech.


"My esteemed countrymen, I speak to you today on my In auguration not to proliferate dissent and disunity amoungst our fellow confederates but to help regrow our nation into the Proud, Mighty nation that tore herself away from America with Fire and Brimestone!!!!!"

A roar of approval emanated from the crowds, Sanderson waited for the crowd to settle before continuing.

"The hatefilled states of Ohio and Michigan betray us, their militiristic actions against confederate control should be exemplified on why the Confederacy must unite and stay strong, this is what the Late president sickles wanted and i am sure this is what most confederates want too!!!!"

Suddenly nerve gas was released into the streets and during the pandemonium Sanderson was shot in clear view of the media by a Black militia with a sniper rifle. The militiaman in return was cut down by a hail of bullets by Confederate police..

Sanderson was shot in the chest, (He wore body armour with a blood pack attached to it as the plan was meant to go accordingly) and fell into the arms of a bodyguard who promply rushed him into the Parliament building and into the presidential helicopter who airlifted the "stricken president" to the Goverment hospital.

the anguished State News Anchor stated later that night....

"the atrocities that occurred on a day of celebration and solidarity will not be forgotten, 2000 people are critically injured from a nerve gas attack and 100 of those have allready died, the state offers her deepest condolences to the families of the victims of this un adulterated act of maneviolence. "

"The president of the Confederacy is in a stable condition after been shot in the chest by a Black assailant, he has issued this statement to the entire confederacy."

"I John Sanderson have been but one of the many victims today affected by an act of sheer savagry on the part of our new enemies, We will prevail, Strength through Unity, With Gods hand aiming the Confederate Spear of Justice we shall stike down our adversaries and leave behind a beautiful unified Confederacy!!!!!.

the News reporter then mentioned.

"The national Army of the Confederacy have been alerted to re instate confederate authority in all member states forthwith, national consription is re instated, our Intelligence agency has pointed the act of terrorim on a black guerilla movement associated with the ohio Michigan renegades."

"May god have mercy on our enemies souls for we will not, This is gabrielle Jankins of the Confederate national news network wishing every good confederate a good evening...

on that note the News went off the air...

Outside of Columbus, Ohio

Colonel James Blaine looked toward the city of Columbus. It was the jem of his campaign. Taking Columbus meant taking Ohio back from anarchy. He saw a minor explosion not to far away. Colonel Blaine ran back to a truck and entered it. Driving toward Columbus and the explosion, Colonel Blaine saw the men he commanded. They were preparing a final assault toward Columbus. He drove and out of nowhere appeared the front command base, which had most of the supplies and vehicles. The truck turned and entered the base of the Midwest Militia. Getting out the base seemed to be in a chaotic mood. Men were running all over the place and behind him a truck zoomed by. James started to run toward the truck to find out why it was going so fast. Men rushed toward the truck and pulled out some injured men. Blaine stopped the Sgt. that was driving the truck.

"What the hell happened out there?"

"Colonel Blaine, we got ambushed out there. I was part of a scouting party out there and the truck in front of me exploded. We were taking fire from everywhere. So I backed out of that situation, sir. All we want to do sir is try to stop this chaos in this states. And what happens? We got shot at."

Colonel Blaine stayed quiet for a little bit and looked back at the explosion.

"Get some rest Sgt. we are going to take care of this."

Colonel Blaine walked into the main building, that was formerly a school. He got five volunteers to take a scouting party to find this rebels. Colonel Blaine looked at a captured M-16 and put a magazine into it. The men piled up into a Army Humvee and drove off for a little scouting party.

Lansing, Michigan

Within the last two days the Midwest Militia had successful captured the capital of Michigan. Now peace had come back to the city. The Michigan Militia Corps was starting to make a final push to help capture Indiana. Chester Hagan looked around at the city. It seemed to be it was turning back into the city he once knew. Today General Chester Hagan had a meeting with a key politician. General Chester Hagan was nervous, but was happy that the campaigns were going well in each state. He made his way into the Michigan capital and entered the office of Governor Daniel Greene.

"Ah so you must be Chester Hagan of the Midwest Militia?"

"Yes."

"I have gotten word that your little plan has been doing well. Well it seems that once anarchy is over that Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio well still be separate. The states will be defenseless, so I have been sending messages to the other two states. They are going through with the idea of the Federated Midwest States of America, but it all depends on your actions. Once we have brought the states to normal condition we will have elections."

"It all seems well Governor Greene, but what about this Reformed Confederacy and die hard CSA members in the three states?"

"Well Chester it's a risk we have to take, but keep this to yourself. Once you capture Indianapolis and Columbus each of the Governors will reveal the plan and hopefully that will end the fighting."

Chester gave a hand shake to Governor Greene and walked back to his Humvee. The thought still lingered in his brain. What exactly was the Reformed CSA going to deal with this new country.

The national conferance wis disbanded as emergency forces evacuated the entire building ostensibly to protect the State representatives.

This was not the case as the representatives were ominously sherperded away from the building and then the city in black military trucks.


Sandersons clearly weak voice spoke however with authoritative clarity on state radio..." That states of Virginia, North carolina, South carolina, Georgia, Kentucky,Florida,Tenessee and Arkansas are hearby plaved under marshall law and shall be subject to the authority of the Armed forces of the Reformed confederacy."

"this is for your protection from the Barbarity of terrorism and to help us combat the growing problem."

"all confederate troops stationed in the anarchic states and state governments are expected to re intergrate into the Confederacy or face the consequences of their betrayal. troops frpm the States of Texas,Louisiana, Missippi and Alabama will move out into the aforemention states to reinforce our nations values."

In Orlando, Florida:

Horatio jameson (conspirator with new Orleans) knew his time to asend to power was now....

the state of Georgia to the north simply relinquished authority to Austin without a shot.



outside in Orlando a Captured black militia who was believed to be from ohio was tarred and feathered and his captured white accomplice was castrated and left to bleed whilst confederate soldiers stamped and urinated on his face and his ravished body and when he died choking on his own blood in the Orlando military compound a Confederate Sergeant put the castrated penis into the dead militiamans mouth much to the sadistic amusement of his company.

This actually pre ceded the Confederate occupation of Florida by a few hours.

Officially florida was still free, but with a large portion of the still loyal confederate army based in the startegic state, Resistance to the assimilation was brief and Futile.

The Humvee stopped and Blaine looked around. He saw a small muzzle flash from a building. The streets were deserted. Anyone knew it wasn't save to go outside. He fired a couple shots at the building with his M-16 then ducked back into the Humvee.

"This is the Midwest Militia. Come out now and you will be spared your lives."

"FOR THE CONFEDERACY YOU DAMN REBELS!"

The unknown person fired a couple more shots. Blaine thought right. These people were Confederate diehards or former Confederate National Guardsmen or Regulars. Looking around at each men he saw an assortment of weapons. Most of the men of the Midwest Militia had shotguns or rifles, though a few of the men had captured M-16s or their own AK-47s. Colonel Blaine and his men got out of the Humvee and spread out toward the street. The men fired toward the building, but them CSA diehards were still alive. Colonel Blaine had enough of it and threw a grenade into the building. He and his men ducked for cover. The building exploded, but Blaine ordered the men to keep their weapons aimed at the building. A couple of men exited the building. They wore the uniform of the Confederate Army. Blaine knew the smart ones had joined the ranks of the Midwest Militia. One of them started to speak and looked like their leader.

"We surrender..."

"Ahh so you surrender after we shoot are you."

The leader spit toward the ground and looked at Blaine.

"We have an injured men in there."

Blaine still had his weapon pointed toward the Rebels. He gave a signal to a medic. The medic walked into the building. He carried the injured men with him on the way out. As the medic was walking a man appeared near a window. The rebel fired his weapon and the medic fell down to the ground. Colonel Blaine could see the blood rush out of his head. The other rebels started to reach for their guns. Blaine and the other men opened fire on the rebels. Within seconds it was all over. The Militiamen went over to check on the medic. The medic was dead. Blaine saw one of the rebels saw to crawl away. He quickly went up to the rebel.

"Please...don't kill me..."

Blaine took out his revolver and shot the man in the head. Once the Militiamen put their dead comrade in the car, they took anything useful off the rebels. Colonel Blaine walked past the bodies of the dead rebels and entered the Humvee. Blaine couldn't look at the dead medic. He felt that he sent the medic to his death. Once back at HQ Colonel Blaine ordered a full frontal assault into Columbus. He wanted Ohio to be conquered. Watching from a window he saw trucks filled with men head for Columbus. The trucks all stopped and Colonel Blaine saw the four capture tanks some men had captured two days ago. These tanks were going to be put to a better use. The four M1 Abrams slowly head for Columbus.

The CWAA would like to construct an embassy in Lansing, Michigan. We are also willing to send members of the IWD to assist your men in the rooting out of rebels. The IWD has had much experience eliminating Burkina Fasoan and Taureg Rebels throughout the CWAA and will be well suited for this kind of environment.

To the Candistani government....


The Confederacy will not consider you nation with much respect if you do aid the perpitraitors of the vicious war crime that reverberated throughout our nation.

We urge you government to rescind the offer to Ohio and Michigan if you wish to continue down the path of goodwill with the confederacy.

State of Georgia

5 Armoured divisions entered the state of Georgia as if it was merely a gateway to florida, Confederate intelligence did not expect much resistance to the national army following the January 15th terrorist Massacre.

Richmond Virginia

The Confederate national News Service began its usual rigmarole at 6:00 pm.

"John sanderson has just announced the formation of the Confederate "unity Party" where as the Government would submit to a single party authoritarian police state. "

"The whereabouts of the State representatives at the conference who got re located for their own personal safety following the terrorist attack are at present, Unknown to the News Network."

"In other related news The States of Georgia, Florida, South Carolina,North Carolina and Virginia have officially sworn allegiance to the Unity party and the state following the terrorist atrocities and they have the common sense to agree that solidarity is the awnser to the Confederacies recent hardships."

Some breaking news reached the news reporters earpiece.....

A look of shocked silence was on the Anchors face before she continued.

"uhhh we have some terrible terrible news, The military convoy that was carrying major state dignataries and governors was attacked by black seperatists who apparently where aremd and trained by outside Influences, "

"Only two state governors survived the onslaught as the Confederate national guard protecting the dignataries finally fought off the savage assault"

" the surviving governors are John Blackwell and The governor of Louisiana Mike smith."

Five hours before

The military convoy carrying the clearly preturbed State governors reached a stop in a dense country wood.

The Two Armoured trucks stopped as did the last armoured truck which was carrying a platoon of Confederate Armed Guards.

(Many Governors questioned why they had to be carryed in Military vehicles rather than either Aircraft or Luxurious Jefferson, The awnser as they were told was that they would be less conspicous to the Terrorist threat as they would be taken to Fort Mead miltary base and would then by escorted by a Fighter jet to their own state. )

(The local Black resistance group was small and under equiped and under experienced in real combat scenarios.

They were tipped off by a Black confederate informer that a small miltary convoy was coming to the outskirts of the state of Virginia heading towards Fort Mead carrying Affluent Confederate dignataries.

The Informer was specifically told to tip off the most vociferous extermist faction thereby getting rid of the risk of any chance of either empathy or calm suspicion of a trap.)

Donelly question was ansered firstly by the butt of a soldiers gun and then by Blackwell.

Blackwell then listened to the Confederate Sergeant. "they are coming sir, lets move" "our men are hiding to finish off the resistance once they finish off the traitors....."

with that John Blackwell was ushered into a bulletproof military Humvee which sped off.

Patrick saw bullets bounce of the Humvee as it sped of towards the main highway. he knew the Black militia were allready here. if only he stalled blackwell....

The Flood of pent up black frustration and anger overid the group leaders Intuition that may of perceived a trap....

with that about 35 black militiamen emerged from the dense forest and lunged at the convey in blind fury....


Patrick Donelly Couragiously tried to scream that it was a trap to a miliaman running towards him with a Hapharzardly assembled Ak 47...

he got cut down by a seemingly endless stream of bullets for his trouble.

It was untill the massacre was complete when the Milita group realized their mistake and thats when the Confederate guard launched out from the undergrowth of the opposite field and swiftly killied all 35 men.

After that a state photographer took shots of the massacre and forensic personelle took skin and tissue samples form the Black militia therefore having substantial proof that their was indeed a terrorist "massacre."

This is breaking news from the CNNN. we have obtained official photos taken by a state Journalist of the aftermath of the Terrorist massacre.

(I estimate the ratio for opposition to support in the southern confederate states to be approximatly 40-60 this is relative to each states armed force e.t.c due to Unity partys propaganda and terrorism, and in the central confederate states, 60-40 primarily because of a push for independance, e.t.c. In Virginia the Ratio would be 20-80 due to the fact this state suffered a nerve gas attack in its capital, President sanderson got shot and black militiamen killed all the state dignataries of the conferance on virginia soil. and the only states that have a totally overwhelming ration of opposition to support would Michigan, Ohio and Indiana. where the ratio would be about 90-10 in their favour.

State house, Atlanta Georgia

A loyal contingent of seperatist troops guarded the new governors house following his frank rebuffal of sandersons request for georgia to be peacefully assimilated into the confederacy.

Captain Wesley henson told his men to hold the line. which they did tenously against the vicious barrage of abuse by "unity party" supporters wearing black shirts and the official Unity label ( a silver Lightning symbol with a red background emblazoned on their right arm)

Governor Johnson looked out the window and wondered when military support from savannah would reach him.

Military Support was not to come however...........

Colonels Office savannah military base

Colonel Brett Hendricks awaited the call up from Johnson, He would help Georgia retain her soveignty or die trying...


An Abrams tank was on maneuvres on the military training field when suddenly a Leutenant ordered the tank crew to stop and berated them for lack of finesse and general maneuvarbility he then ordered a new crew to operate the tank and specifally told the other tank crews on the field to return to their stations for training briefing.

The new tank with the Leutenant in it then deviated from the path to a Platoons suprise and then shocked anger as it was moving towards the barracks area.....

Bullets futily richoted of the Tanks near inpenatrable armour.

Upon hearing the gunfire Unity supporter troops sprang into action, Loyalist tank crews were in the de breifing room when the chaos happened, 100 Unity Soldiers Burst into the de briefing room and riddled all the tank personelle in battle group A with bullets.

"fire!!!!"

The Tank then fired a shell at Battle group Bs building as frantic Tank crews were rushing out of the building with confused Georgian Infantrymen .

The Building exploded in dramatic fasion (funny that:) )

Just as a couple of Loyalist confederate tanks came out of the tank sheds, The Rogue Tank launched another attack this time hitting the Colonels building, Tearing it down with ease.


The Ambience outside was of a shell shocked cacophony as Dazed loyalist and Unity troops tried to shake off the effects of the deafening explosions. Gunfire silently fired to the disorientated perceptions of some troops and screams of agony were muted... it was all very ethereal.

The Base was drenched in Blood as former Comrades in arms fought each other to the death...

Finally a dazed Sergeant lying on a heap of fallen soldiers saw a Confederate armoured troop carrier storm the gates of the base with Two Apache Gunships Laying covering fire finishing off the garrison

five Confederate F25s roared over the Atlanta airspace......

Henson knew Confederate troops were to follow.....

"Right men, Shoot to kill" he told his be leagured contingent of Loyalists facing the ravenous Unity crowd...

"on my order men, you will fire..."

"three, two, one...."

A loyalist soldier did shoot but it was in the opposite direction, It hit henson right between the eyes and he died instantly.

By decapitation (like when you cut off a snakes head) the contingent of Loyalist troops briefly fell into disorientation before quickly switching alleigance to the crowd as the Ostentatious governmental gate was torn down and the corwd rushed the government building..

Orlando, Florida

The situation in Florida was bleak (in terms of her prospects nationhood anyway)

Horatio Jameson upon being notified of the Death of the current governor of Florida, Proclaimed himself the Unilateral leader of Florida and advocate for the Unity Party......

This provoked widespread violence across the state. ( the irony being, that much of the violence was being made by the Unity party supporters and not her opponents. )

as Unity party supporters in their zealotry began destroying all vestiges of potential independence across the state. This included the state Univeristy and Library in orlando much to the detriment of the ordinary citizens of the city. and all "prolific, Anti governmental" Literature was burned in a massive bonfire outside the trashed and desecrated Univeristy of Florida....

Back in Atlanta.

Confederate troops began to move into the city with the blessing of the Vociferous unity mob....

The confederate troops were greeted as heros by the Unity crowd despite the fact the large majority of the soldiers have not even fired a shot in anger yet....

Blazing effigies were not needed as to the shock horror to some confederate officers and mild be musement of others, Governor Richard Johnson was found tarred and feathered and was hanged on the flag pole in the garden preceeding the State house....

A provisional governor was immediately re instated to govern Georgia even before johnson was eventually hoisted down..

Fort Lauderdale Florida.

1500 marines landed on the deserted beachhead and immediately secured the marina and port office... a few gunshots of protest were made by be wildered and scared customs offcicers but no fatal incidents eventuated, as the hopelessly outnumbered coastguard relinquished their authority to the marine expeditionary force upon realising their dire situation.

More troops landed in the city once the port area was consolidated. A blackhawk helicopter dropped off elite confederate commandoes on prominent buildings in the city centre, thus providing cover for the marines moving into the city and eventually the outer suburbs...

Charleston and Columbia

A simultaneous assault was Launched on both cities, as it was of paramount Importance to reach the Loyal states of Virginia and west virginia before seperatist forces could regroup in North Carolina and Missouri.

A Blitzkrieg approach was taken by Confederate forces who entered the State overnight following the submission of Georgia.

The Local state militia clashed with Confederate Infantry forces at sevral key locations. The border districts, The outskirts of Columbia and the coastal ports.

All of these minor and shortlived skirmishes were subdued within 3 days due to sustained Howitzer shelling and Massive air support which destroyed the badly maintained Armoured divisions of the resisting militia.

However notable losses on the Confederate side were acknowledged as in the Militias blind patriotism or possibly the Confederate forces blind arrogance 250 confederate Infantymen died in sporadic suicide runs...( at a greater cost obviously to the militia) across the state.

Columbias State house was clinicly destroyed by a airstrike in which this also symbolised the States prospects for nationhood. (I.e. none)

The Confederate Syncronised Unity March resonated throughout the almost deserted and desolate streets of Coumbia as the Infantry corps made their way to the shattered CBD and the Government house.

Missouri

In st Louis, The city whilst apprehensive on ceeding from the Confederacy did not like the Idea of Arbitrarily surrenduring to the new "unity" phenomenon that is sweeping throughout all the Southern states.

Newly assimilated confederate Infantry regiments from Florida and south carolina were held at bay in the city suburbs due to almost untenable guerilla and all out warfare provided by the more than adequatley armed Missouri state militia.

After two days of intense fighting, The initial fighting around the outskirts of St Louis gradually subsided and made way for the Confederate Infantry corps to make thier way to Thomas Jefferson bridge, (which fictiously spanned the Missippi and was a historical landmark.) that led to the city centre.

However the tenacity of the Militia prooved to be Indelible, as just when Confederate forces had secured the perimeter and had half an infantry division crossing the Jefferson bridge, A seemingly Innocent river barge meandered up the great river and upon reaching the center of the bridge where Abrams tanks were finally crossing, blew up in spectatular fasion that destroyed the bridge in its entirety along with (what was later to be disclosed information to the Confederate public) a entire armoured division.
