Okay my idea is to create a new earth for the purposes of RPing. It's physical make up is extremely different from our own planet. It has a single core, said core being a massive amazingly complex computer that controls the planet's gravity, weather systems and everything else important about it. There are two set continents. Both having there own nations on them. The continent of Ozzmunia and the continent of Harsbuttal. The continents float around the core seemingly suspended by nothing and have lakes, rivers, forests, and all the other things you'd expect on a normal continent, but if you dig too deep you'll fall right through. I'll accept any and all nations and accept suggestions for the planet's history.

Who wants in?

(I apologize in advance for any grammar mistakes. I am the son of an english teacher NOT an english teacher. Please refrain from any non conrtuctive critcism and aid me in making this into a nice background for a Role Play.)

You paint a very interesting image. What would make it so unique? Who controls the computer?

Well beyond the whole Ocean of free space between islands and continents. I know I stole the design from a computer game but please tell me no one has used this as an RP setting before?

The computer is self suffeceint and every thirty years it opens up. But it is considered a tabboo place. No one goes there, or rather no one should go there. Would be rather interesting if a bunch of despots got in there now wouldn't it?

Also each nation gets it's own island/continent/island chain this assumed to be the case unless stated otherwise.

The computer is automated. No one controls it but every thirty years it opens up and allows someone inside for about twenty four hours. Then it closes again. The core is considered tabboo and no one should approach it. But you know how these things go, it only takes one power mad dictator to screw up the world, in this case that is very literal.

Every nation gets its own landmass and is completly isolated until it develops flight technology. Making for some interesting diplomatic situations.

Thoughts?

I find it very interesting. It could be very fascinating, with nations doubting the existence of others before flight technology is developed. If it holds together, it has enormous potential.

That being said, I start my second semester in a few days and I have an enormous volume of courses that will consume most of my life until May. I do not wish to commit, as I may find myself unable to post for days at a time. I think this has potenial and I wish you the best.
