Wehrmacht

The New Prussian Wehrmacht is the Army of the Socialist Commonwealth of Wanderjar. It is a technologically advanced force, utilizing the latest technologies availible to modern militaries, and relies on awesome firepower and quick mobility to fight its wars. The military is divided into Armeekorps, then subdivided into Divisions as in most all global militaries.

Total Divisions: 85 (110 in times of emergency with Reserve and Conscript Divisions)


The types of Wanderjarian Divisions are as follows:

Panzer Division: The Panzer Division is an Armored Division, composing of 1024 M1 Phalanx MBT or HT-106Cs'.

Infanterie- Standard Wanderjarian Infantry. Equipped with standard infantry weapons and the Wanderjarian Integrated Warfighter System to make each soldier one hell of a fighter and a challenge to even the greatest militaries.

Panzer-Grenadiers- Mechanized Infantry. Use Infantry Fighting Vehicles such as the Schutzpanzer Marder, etc to transport troops into battle and support their operations with heavy machine gun fire from their 20 mm Rheinmetall MK 20 Rh202 autocannon and MILAN ATGM launcher. Their secondary arnament is the 7.62 mm MG3 machine gun which can be operated by the Vehicle Commander.

Heersgruppes- These are Head Quarters units which take care of any and all administrative work for the Division or Army Corps, and also have the units M*A*S*H units and various other specialities which are required to fuel the war machine.

Fallschirmjäger- Paratroopers. These light infantry shock troops are typically dropped behind enemy lines in order to either tie up enemy forces, destroy specific targets, or hit enemy forces from behind to force enemy surrender. They are highly trained and motivated, being able to make conventional 1,200 foot jumps and HALO 10,000 foot jumps with openings at 400-500 feet.


Kavallerie Lüften Sie beweglich- Air Cavalry Divisions. These troops use helicopters to ride into hot spots and attack. They are typically lightly equipped, due to restrictions on the helicopters, but are well supported by the Aviation brigades which are attached to each AirCav Division.


Marine-Sturm Division- These are the Wanderjarian Marine Corps. Highly trained and disciplined, they serve as heavy infantry capable of making amphibious assaults onto enemy beachheads, though this has rarely been done in Wanderjarian Military History. They typically serve as standard Infantry units.


Besonderes Betriebflugwesenregiment- Special Operations Aviation Regiment. These are some of the best helicopter pilots in the world, trained to flight and fight low level and in the darkness. They typically serve as transport and attack pilots support Special Forces Units.

SS Units (Schutzstaffel): These military units are an elite within the Wehrmact, serving as the personal Guard of Wanderjar itself, and specifically the Lord Governor. Unlike their Nazi counterparts however, these are not used to maintain order throughout the nation, but rather as a specialized Army for any military operation which may require their involvement. The SS is loosely joined with the rest of the Wehrmacht, but has its own ranking and uniform structure.

Grenzschutzegruppe-9- These men are the elite of the elite: The Wanderjarian GSG-9, Border Guards Group Nine. They are the Wanderjarian Special Forces unit, capable of doing any task assigned to them: Demolition, Assassination, Assault, Regieme Change, Counter-Terrorist, and many other possible tasks which the Lord Governor may require of them. The Navy aswell has a variation of the GSG-9, the Marine GSG-9, comprised of both Navy and Marine Corps personnel. These however, typically serve on carrier battle groups and are deployed from there, as oppose to the Fatherland itself.

This is the Police Force of Wanderjar. They are armed just as the military, however act as any other Police Force. Crime in Wanderjar is not tolerated, and any infractions considered too major, such as usage of drugs or alcohol, is punished by execution on spot. Other crimes, such as rape, murder, and theft, are also punished by the immediate execution of the criminals. It is for this, why crime rates in Wanderjar are near to non-existant.

The Schutzetruppe, or Protection Troop, is more or less a garrison force, made of Wanderjarian FeldPolizei volunteers, who operate as the military, but act as a police unit for Wanderjarian Territories around the globe.

These various images show different variations of the Wanderjarian Warfighter System. This equipment is designed to be the ultimate in combat infantry protection, and designed to increase the survivability, and lethality of the Wanderjarian Soldier.

The armor comes with numerous parts, making it an intricate series of devices, which all work together to form a whole. This includes a specialized Spider-silk armor, a complex Helmet system, and advanced communications. These shall be explained below:


Helmet:


The helmet is the key to the unit. In the helmet, is a computer chip, which will allow the soldier to view his surroundings at an amplified level, and by utilizing the HUD (Heads up Display) which is placed over the left or right eye, can even view realtime maps of the battlefield, updated briefings by Commanders, and in the case of team leaders, view waypoints created by the unit leader at the command and control vehicle. This also allows for the microphone which is placed on the ear, and extends to the cheek, allowing for good report hearing, and relaying of information. Communcation is key on the modern battlefield. We are giving this key.

Armor:


Since the beginning of time, man has fought wars. With wars, comes the need for protection against enemy troops and their munitions, while being able to move effectively. We have gone from no armor, to excessive amounts, and then to moderate armor which does not effectively defend against all attacks. This however, can stop the standard 7.62mm round, even if fired at point blank range, keeping the soldier alive. Pain is a sad and unavoidable thing, but it is much better to deal with a bad bruise, than a gunshot wound. Spider-silk is lighter than a feather, yet stronger than steel. This makes for an extremely effective armor system. One which will keep the soldier comfortable, and mobile.

Of course. I didn't want to purchase from you at first, but when you started giving it away, I thought "what the hell?" and started using it. It was part of the massive re-organization program that started after the war in Naasha.

Since my American keyboard doesn't have the ability to add them, I went to a German website and found them ;)


It took a few sites for them to appear, but by god I did!

Added two more SS Armeekorps. Soon to add in Kriegsmarine Units.

You could add individual soldier loadouts. Like this:

Rifleman Loadout

1x XM8 (linky) w/ red-dot scope, pistol grip
1x H&K USP (linky) w/ laser sight, silencer
5x extra 30-round rifle magazines
5x extra pistol clips
1x combat knife
1x WIWS (linky)

etc. You could do different loadouts for different roles, such as support gunner, sharpshooter, anti-tank, etc. TWSP and I have examples on the NEA forums.

I thought about that, but then I decided that my troops tend to use different equipment based on what mission they will be undertaking, or where they are fighting.

"The Foreign Brigade" is the newest addition to the Wehrmacht, an entire force created of Foreign Volunteers who serve Wanderjar, which in turn clears their history and provides them with the opportunity to begin a new life within Wanderjar.

Yes, but I still have a hint of a dark side. The main reason for that is that mind altering substances and a Communist state do not go well together, they alter discipline etc, therefore they are banned. However thats the only fascist esque policy I have that I'm aware of.

Spider silk makes for bad armor, it's got great tensile strength, but it's too flexible, it'll keep the bullet from going through most likely, but it'll leave a spider silk lined hole in your soldier.
