King Abdul Aziz ibn-Nadj al-Qatif al-Saud II, sat amongst his military leaders, duscussing his proposition to them.
"Generals, I want to unite our Arab brothers in this area," he said, pointing to Eritrea on a map. "I have made contact with an ally, Caliph Muammar al-Hassan Qadaffi, the leader of the Islamic Courts Union, an organization in east africa spreading the ways of the great one, Allah. What are your plans to enter the nation, Generals?"
A bearded man stood up and saluted,"King Aziz, I may be able to send in my forces of the tankette and light tank squadrons. That is, if I have the support from General al-Husseini's Storm Troopers." he announced.
"Good." said the king."I want you two Generals to leave and formulate a strategy. May I see Admiral Answar, please?" said the King.
"Yes, my King." said the Admiral, standing and saluting.
"I am giving you permission to commandeer merchant shipping to transport troops to Eritrea. I am sending a messenger at this time to contact the Caliph and alert him to raise his militias. To the rest of you, I want a call to arms issued to all armed forces members. Allah Akbar!" chanted the King.
"Allah Akbar!" snapped back the Generals.

al-Hudaydah, Yemeni Sultanate, UASU
The Navy, along with a vast amount of Commandeered Merchant ships, were being loaded with ammunition and supplies. Soldiers were arriving from their various posts around the Union to the port and were issued their K98 rifles and MG28 LMG's. A group of Monoplanes flew across the channel to Eritrea and scouted out the LZ for the ships and the soldiers aboard them. Overall, the UASU was sending 45,000 troops to Eritrea over a two day period. Recon so far has shown that no enemy forces were at the remote beach and that it would probably stay that way. The Islamic Courts Union had been stirring up a ruccus in the capital with protests and attacks. Later in the day, the first ships departed port and headed to the LZ, situated about 12 miles south of the small town of Ed.

The Navy had done its job well with the tanks and infantry safely dropped off on the beach. The armored division along with its infantry support moved up the road into Ed and met up with a large militia loyal to the Islamic Courts Union. The plan was to make a push for the capital and take over the the government. After that, they would unite the Eritrean people under the rule of their new Caliph and accept the nation as a full fledged member of the UASU.

OFFICIAL GOVERNMENT STATEMENT

The United Arab Socialist Republic vehemently condemns these unwarranted imperialist actions undertaken by our southern neighbor. A delusional Muslim man in a half-Christian country who believes he is some sort of khalifa is no reason at all to violate every nation's most sacred of rights; national sovereignty.
The UASR calls on the other nations of the world to take note of these actions and act; give an imperialist an inch and he will take miles.

It seems our neighbors to the north have lost their way on Allahs path. Your socialist ways have tainted your faith. The Caliph means to spread Allah's ways to eritrea, and he will do Allah's bidding without being impeded.

King Abdul Aziz ibn-Nadj al-Qatif al-Saud II, your actions are dispicable and intolerant. Cortellen will not tolerate such actions and as such will not reconize any such conquests and will aid anyone who is willing to fight you.

Allah's will shall not be hindered by the Western Infedels. We will Continue on with our unification and none of you will stop us! Allah Akhbar!

Meanwhile...

The Army and Islamic Courts Union Militia had made their way up into the town of Ed and were cheered by the Islamic citizens of the town. The Christian elements of the Eritrean Army were mobilising, but the Islamic elements joined with the UASU in support of their religion. The 45,000 men and 100 tanks and tankettes rolled up the coast, liberating villages and towns from the infeidels on the way. It would be a great day for Allah.

UASU this is your last warning. If you do not recall your troops, the forces of Cortellen will mobilize and attack you even if we must do it alone.

The UASU will not stand down to you. We also must ask if it is really in your nations best intrerests to ship your men all the way over to the middle east when by the time you get there, the Country will be a Member of the UASU. The Islamic population in the north of Eritrea agrees with the caliph and his ways. I will say again, the Arab people will not stand down to you.
Good Day

The Islamic population of the country might agree to it but what about the rest of the country? If you have taken them over by that time then we will liberate them.

OOC: I will be starting a new thread for my mobilization and if you have finished this invasion by that time my invasion will happen on that thread as well.

If it really means this much to you, a compromise could be reached between us. I dont want to spill unnecessary blood between our nations, but if we cannot agree to come to an understanding I am afraid conflict is innevitable. Would it be possible for the Islamic North of the country to join the UASU under their Caliph's rule while the Christian South retains its sovereignty. I believe this will lead to a more stable Eritrea without any religous confrontation between the two groups.

TO: The Shakal Empire
We thank you for your support. Your forces as of yet shall not be necessary as the Naton of Eritrea has been falling calmly. If any of the Christian Military regroups and attacks, our 45,000 men will be more than enough to fend them off. If your men are needed, though, we will send word to your leaders for aid.
Thank you,
King Abdul Aziz ibn-Nadj al-Qatif al-Saud II
