All regular radio and television programmes have been cancelled and as of now the Emergency Broadcast shall operate to inform all citizens of Ethiopia of the new process that is under way in the nation.

The government of Prime Minister Aklilu Habte Wold has been removed from office. Prime Minister Aklilu Habte Wold and all 28 members of his cabinet have been arrested and tried by a People's Revolutionary Court.

The People's Revolutionary Court, after a careful analysis of the evidence and informational sources at hand, had reached a verdict of Prime Minister Aklilu Habte Wold and his 28 cabinet members of being found guilty. They were found guilty of the following crimes:

1.) Allowing the imperialist capitalist nations and their parasitic corporations to plunder, exploit, steal and devalue the many rich resources and industries of Ethiopia and to exploit the Ethiopian rural farmers and the urban proletarians in a most inhumane and babaric manner of capitalist exploitation.

2.) That Prime Minister Aklilu Habte Wold and his 28 cabinet members were all working for and were associates of foreign and imperialist spy agencies. Thus the former government was working directly to undermine the development and independence of Ethiopia and it's peoples for the master plan hatched by a cabal of capitalist parasites to enslave our great nation and the heroric proletarian class to their evil servitude.

3.) That the government of Aklilu Habte Wold was itself corrupt and that it allowed civil servants and senior officers of the Armed Forces to get away with corruption and the theft of the people's and nation's money.

4.) That Prime Minister Aklilu Habte Wold and his 28 cabinet members were in secret talks with seperatist terrorists and counter-revolutionary forces such as the Eritrean and Somali bandits, with the objective of breaking up Ethiopia into small and weak nations. This was to be done to weaken the power of the African people in their fight to unify Africa and to confront the racist oppression black peoples the world over face from greedy white capitalists.

The People's Revolutionary Court had sentenced Prime Minister Aklilu Habte Wold and the other 28 members of his government to death by firing squad.

They were executed this morning and their bodies shall now be strung up on the lamposts in the centre of our capital city, Addis Ababa, so that the people can see that justice has been done and that the enemies of the Great Ethiopian Socialist Revolution shall end their vile lives in a most painful and bloody conclusion.

The Emperor of Ethiopia, Emperor Haile Selassie I, has been removed from his throne and striped of his positions and offices as Emperor, Head of the Imperial Court, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Ruler of the Ethiopian people.

Haile Selassie along with 170 members of his family and 615 of his associates and Imperial Court members, have all been tried by the People's Revolutionary Court and have been found guilty of being complicit in the crimes carried out by the government of former Prime Minister Aklilu Habte Wold.

Haile Selassie and the 170 members of his family and 615 of his associates have all been executed by firing squad and their bodies shall be disposed of via a secret burial in a mass grave at an undisclosed location.

The Monarchy and the Imperial Government have been abolished.

Supreme power and all governmental authority now rests with the Provisional Military Administrative Council (PMAC). The PMAC is composed of brave and fearless patriots and socialists from the Ethiopian Armed Forces and the broad masses of the people's representatives.

The PMAC has nominated Colonel Mengistu Haile Mariam to the following positions:

1.) Chairman of the PMAC

2.) Supreme Commander of the Ethiopian Armed Forces and of Central Military Command

Comrade Colonel Mengistu Haile Mariam, Chairman of the PMAC, Supreme Commander of the Ethiopian Armed Forces and of Central Military Command and Supreme Leader of the Great Ethiopian Socialist Revolution, has established the following Revolutionary Laws by executive decree:

Revolutionary Law No. 1: That the unity of the People's Republic of Democratic Ethiopia shall be upheld and preserved at all costs. No region or province shall ever attempt to undermine the unity of the People's Republic of Democratic Ethiopia with successionist actions that would undermine the cause of Pan-Africanism and continental unity via the advocacy of petty nationalism and bourgeios delusion.

Revolutionary Law No. 2: The character of the Great Ethiopian Socialist Revolution is a unique one. The Ethiopian Armed Forces have played a central role in the Great Ethiopian Socialist Revolution and have made possible the overthrow of the old fuedal imperial dynasty and the imperialist system which exploited our nation and our workers for the gain and profits of foreign corporate interests and the system of international monopoly capitalism.

Given this, the ruling Provisional Military Administrative Council (PMAC) shall be enshrined as the sole body of executive power in the People's Republic of Democratic Ethiopia and Comrade Colonel Mengistu Haile Mariam shall be the Chairman of PMAC.

After the position of Chairman of the PMAC, there shall be a 25 member National Executive Council (NEC) of the PMAC. The NEC of the PMAC shall also take the position of the respective Ministries of Government.

Thus the Chairman of the PMAC is the Head of State of the People's Republic of Democratic Ethiopia and the Head of the Government of the People's Republic of Democratic Ethiopia. The NEC of the PMAC are it's government.

Revolutionary Law No. 3: After the Great Ethiopian Socialist Revolution has been firmly established and that it has eliminated all forms of counter-revolutionary, reactionary, pro-capitalist and pro-imperialist sentiment, activities, individuals, organisations and systems and that the nation's economy has been throughly socialised and fully under proletarian control, the PMAC will disband for a new nationwide based worker's party that has a firm grasp of the liberating ideology of African Socialism and the teachings of Marxism-Leninism.

This new worker's party shall in the future command the full and total support of every single citizen of the People's Republic of Democratic Ethiopia and that this future party shall be by law the only legal party and no other party shall ever be tolerated or accepted.

Revolutionary Law No. 4: All forms of private property and ownership of services which affect the means of production shall now be taken over by the state and placed under the control of the Great Ethiopian Socialist Revolution, which shall harness the economy for the good of all proletarians in a equitable manner and thus eliminate class oppression and the exploitation of man by his fellow man.

All nationalisations shall be compulsory and there shall be no form of compensation to those capitalist parasites, once their businesses are placed in the hands of the people via state control.

This process shall also apply to all foreign companies and holdings without any regard to the opposition other nations may put up to our plan for a socialist and worker based economy.

A minimum wage has been established at 50 Peoples Credit per hour of work done.

Revolutionary Law No. 5 : The People's Republic of Democratic Ethiopia is a secular state with a rational and atheist value system. All forms of religion, superstition, magic, spiritualism and other belief and value systems which fall outside the boundries of rational scientific and material analysis are now illegal.

Those counter-revolutionary individuals who put their faith in these illegal belief systems shall face a 10 year sentence in a re-education facility where their minds shall be liberated from bourgeois decadence with the teachings of Marxism-Leninism.

Revolutionary Law No. 6: The Great Ethiopian Socialist Revolution shall not only strive for the equality of classes but also of the many different races, ethnic national groups and regional groups of the People's Republic of Democratic Ethiopia.

Racism and any form of discrimination or hatred based on a individuals origin is now illegal and those guilty of such intolerance shall face a 10 year sentence at a re-education facility.

All social groups, ethnic groups, regional groups, age groups and labour groups are urged to fully realise their potential in this new free and equal society of ours and to play their special part in building a new socialist society that works for the good of all.

Revolutionary Law No. 7: One of tha main pillars of oppression that is inherent under capitalism is the oppression of women and their imposed status
as second class people in a never ending process of servitude to misogynist men in the reactionary nuclear family.

As of now, the PMAC declares a total state of freedom and emancipation for all women in the People's Republic of Democratic Ethiopia.

Both individuals in a marriage can now obtain access to the process of divorce if either one or both of the individuals sees it fit to divorce. The state shall provide free legal support to both couples during the divorce process. A woman will automatically obtain 50% of all money and personal property from her former husband after the divorce process it completed.

All forms of domestic abuse, rape and other violent acts against women shall now be viewed as crimes against society and are no longer a 'family affiar'. Those responsible for the abuse of women shall face the death penalty for their crimes.

Abortion has now been legalised and shall be provided free of charge to all women who require it for whatever reason they see fit.

Prostitution and pornography have now been made illegal. The state shall provide rehabilitation rescue services to those exploited women who have been made to work in the 'sex industry', either as prostitutes or actress in pornographic films. The death penalty shall be imposed for those male criminals who either produce or view pornography and those male criminals who push women into selling their bodies. All strip clubs are to close down, their owners are to be executed for crimes against women and the females 'workers'/slaves shall now be set free.

A nationwide campaign to eradicate illiteracy amongst women will now begin, as too many women suffer an ignorance of basic educational standards due to the previous capitalist system treating them as man servants who had to stay at home and were barred from work and learning opportunities.

All job positions are now open to women, including membership of the People's Militia, the Revolutionary Defence Committees and the Armed Forces, this is inclusive of women being allowed to take up combat roles within the services of our nation's defence.

All wages between men and women are now equal.

All women aged between 18-50 in the People's Republic of Democratic Ethiopia are now to enlist in membership of the state run National Democratic Womens Front (NDWF). The NDWF shall be a mass revolutionary organisation that shall develop feminism as a key component in the Marxist-Leninist ideology of the Great Ethiopian Socialist Revolution and the NDWF shall strive to better the conditions of all women and break down all that divides us.

Revolutionary Law No. 8: All education from primary school to university is now to be run by the state and is free of charge. All private schools and religious schools are to be nationalised and religion shall be abolished from all educational centres and facilities.

All healtcare from the cradle to the grave shall be established via the creation of a National Health Service (NHS).

All citizens of the People's Republic of Democratic Ethiopia over the age of 60 are to recieve a standard and equal state pension and if they are unable to look after themselves, they shall be entitled to live in a carehome.

Revolutionary Law No. 9: Homosexuality is a psychological sympton of a illness that is caused by bourgeois ideals and a capitalist culture and mentality. Homosexuality is un-African as it is actually a condition that can only occur in white males, but some black African men have been brainwashed by capitalist agents into thinking that they too are homosexuals and thus they degrade their natural body strength with man to man sex.

Given that only white males are wholly homosexual and African males are mearly deluded into homosexuality via a warping of the mind with a process of hegmonic capitalist cultural imperialism, homosexuals are herby ordered to report themselves to their nearest police station, were they shall be processed into re-education centres and via a mixture of psychological therapy and a firm and intense process of eliminating capitalist/homosexual thoughts with a learning and understanding of Marxist-Leninist teachings, they shall thus be cured of their homosexual condition.

Although the Republic is bound to hold sacred the rule of law concerning national sovereignty, upheld by the Reid Doctrine, the corrupt actions performed by the PMAC cannot be ignored by civilized nations of the international community.

At this moment, the Aequatian Republic Navy is redeploying a number of vessels from the Western Fleet into the Indian Ocean where it will be sent to the Horn of Africa Theatre of Operations to perform actions in maintaining regional stability. Open Declaration to the International Community

The Aequatian Republic is highly concerned with the foolish vigour in which several nations are preparing to intervene militarily in the internal affairs of a sovereign nation. Even though we may not agree with the actions undertaken by the PMAC, chosing to intervene with the use of military forces undermines the laws which allow for each nation to rule without the external interference of other nations.

The Aequatian Republic must ask that all those who are deploying forces to the Gulf of Aden and the Red Sea as well as Eastern Africa not to engage in military actions. The Republic must remind the world that we are only deploying our own forces in an attempt to stabilize the region and prevent a larger conflict from occuring. Our current goal is to come to a solution to the current situation, and the first step is to establish a legitimate government within the troubled country which best represents the interests of the citizenry and prevent any continued bloodshed.

A pair of F-1D Nyx fighters shot off the bow catapults as they moved to take up their air combat patrols around the fleet, alongside fighters launched from the Excalibur. There were no airborne early warning E-2D Hawkeye II aircraft in the air, as the radar systems aboard the two cruisers covered more than enough range for the time being as they traversed the Arabian Sea. Admiral Good was in the carrier's CIC as messages began to pour in from fleet command concerning the increased involvement of regional powers into the current situation.

Marlon nodded as he picked up one of the intercom handsets and contacted the ship's captain and prepared to inform the other commanding officers of the force's other vessels of the coming operations.

Your ultimatums directed towards the nation of Ethiopia are misplaced and poorly judged as you are doing nothing more than encouraging regional instability and the resolve of the current government, which has yet to determine its legitimacy.

Perhaps there'll be some action this round, Strimmdolt thought. After his promotion to Admiral, he was stuck in a closed office, doing paperwork for a good 8 years before he finally managed to persuade High Command for a proper command. The entire task force slowed as they began their holding pattern in the water, far enough off the coast to detect and eliminate enemy anti-ship missiles launched from land, but remained in a close enough proximity to still conduct aircraft launches against enemy forces inland. Admiral Good and Commadore Marlon were enjoying the fresh air from one of the carrier's catwalks, with the XO enjoying one of his fine Espandor cigars, smuggled aboard by the pallette-full by the Marines. Once they had come to a halt, a certain calm had come over the ships, even though they were prepared for combat at a moment's notice, they took the slight period of quiet to relax before preparing to return to the CIC. Only time would dictate their next actions.

The carrier remained on-station as fighters made their trap landings as they switched out duties for the air combat patrols. The larger size of the F-1 airframe allowed for a lot of loiter time in the air, allowing them to remain up longer than their foreign counterparts. The E-2F Hawkeye II early warning aircraft used their radomes and scanned far out beyond the systems aboard the escort cruisers, keeping watch for enemy fighters or missiles threatening the task force.

Lieutenant Elgin was already on her patrol as she and her wingman, Lieutenant Howard "Comet" Dolf, flew the long circuit around the fleet, loaded with a plethora of air-to-air munitions, the well-tested aircraft were prepared to engage almost four times their numbers, as they had done in the past.

Once the vessel had completed its quick fuel replenishment with the Wallick, Lieutenant-Commander Hendricks ordered his ship to all ahead as it pulled away from the task force, the Avenger-class boats taking up their security duties along with the destroyers as it moved on West to follow the coastline towards the waters off Eritrea, to monitor the port at the city of Assab. Soon enough, they would be joined by a carrier battlegroup, initially deployed to Morocco, but ordered to join the other ships in the Red Sea.

I know many nations will have IC propaganda about the former Imperial regime and the Monarchy being legitimate, but to clear any confusion, the Imperial system was DICTATORIAL too.

All political parties and trade unions were banned under the Imperial system and the Prime Minister and his government were handpicked by the former Emperor, NOT elected by either parliament or the people. It was an absolutist monarchy.

Women were NOT allowed to work under the Imperial system, most people starved to death in poverty and lived in slums and makeshift shacks, illiteracy was the norm and unemployment was very high.

Whilst the new PMAC regime is dictatorial, it is and will be a better system for most people in Democratic Ethiopia as they shall have a good standard of living, free healthcare, free education, social housing with very low rents, state run job creation programmes and poverty is going to go, along with the second class status of women, as the PMAC aim to have the most equal and fair system for women in Democratic Ethiopia.

When the Imperial system was overthrown, though it was a military coup done by the Armed Forces, most people in my nation were happy to see the back of the Emperor and his corrupt system.

My nation's issue with the country isn't with what the PMAC is currently doing, but how they enacted the change. Their coming to power was illegitimate and my government only wants to see it done correctly, without the people feeling they need to be forced into a decision, just because those that were in control are socialist does not necessarily mean that everyone wants to be the same.

My nation's goals, above anything, is to simply install a proper, democratic system so that it is up to the people to choose their fate, rather than being told, "Okay, we're all glorious socialists now!" By the big, grand marshal. I'm not concerned with the re-instatement of the monarchy specifically, however, if they were more legitimate, then they really should be in power. "How much of a threat are these vessels?" Asked Marlon.

"To us, sir?" Said Stone as she paused to think for a moment, "Very slight, the cruisers and destroyers should have no problem eliminating any barrage launched by the two vessels and our carrier strike craft would be able to engage the enemy CVL without problem, the aircraft they have won't stand up to the new F-1 Deltas."

"I want all of the ships to full alert, we won't be firing the first shot," Good said as he looked at both Stone and Marlon, "But we'll be for damn sure firing the last."

Lieutenants Elgin and Dolf both received the same message broadcast from the Europa for all of the F-1D fighters currently in the air performing their patrols, they were to all prepare for immediate contact with enemy aircraft and were to be refueled by KA-74 light tankers before being joined by additional fighters.

"Let's get into our holding pattern then, Comet," Said Elgin as she banked her fighter and turned back towards the task force, "We'll be getting a quick drink from the Turkeys in fifteen."

"Rog that, Red Wing," Replied Dolf as he followed suit with Elgin's aircraft, "Looks like things are going to get exciting around here."

The flight deck crew worked feverishly as they prepared the necessary aircraft for the coming actions. Even though they had not even made contact with the enemy vessels, they were already to be considered hostile.

The blueshirts of V-3 Division worked in the hangers as they prepared the number of the BA-74B Sea Arrow attack aircraft for anti-surface warfare sorties as the powerful AGM-200 Typhoon missiles were attached to their fuselages, each missile holding nearly two thousand pounds of high-capacity high-explosive and each aircraft carrying six of the weapons. A single barrage from the squadron would be more than enough to wipe out a carrier battle group, let alone a light carrier, destroyer and frigate. The strike aircraft were not the only aircraft being prepared, EA-74C, the electronic warfare variants on the same airframe, were also being fueled and armed for launch as they would be most valuable in defeating the enemy's detection systems.

Admiral Good, Commadore Marlon and Lieutenant Stone all remained standing together in the CIC as the messagewas received from the vessels belonging to the nation of Hdgcfcf. The XO was the first to speak, "It could be a ploy, admiral, they could be saying it in hopes of us letting our guard down."

Good paused for a moment as he thought, as the lieutenant spoke, "No, even if they tried to launch a sneak attack, they could only manage thirty two weapons in a single barrage, the combat systems aboard the cruisers, honed since the campaigns in Red Tide, are more than capable of engaging larger numbers of more advanced weapons."

The commadore nodded, "I remember the legendary stories about the RNS Reaper, those old Advance cruisers were certainly something."

The Admiral interupted, "Both sides on a conflict always say they refuse to fire the first shots, but war is so unpredictable," He explained, looking over the latelest satellite images, "Keep the fighters in the air, I want a buffer against any aircraft launches of their own, but keep the Sea Arrows on ready-five launch, I want to be ready to hit them hard."

On the flight deck, the aircraft handlers were working to maneuver the heavy BA-74 attack fighters so that they could be launched within minutes off the catapults. The bow section around the catapults was crowded with the swing-wing aircraft as their aircrews remained inside the cockpits, ready for action.

The CIC was busy as usual in a combat zone, the atmosphere was tense as Admiral Good looked over another satellite image of the three enemy vessels, "They haven't moved much since they arrived in the gulf, like they have entered into their holding pattern now," He turned to Lieutenant Stone, "What range are they currently at?"

The young officer quickly looked through her PDA for the information, as it was immediately transmitted to her as it became available, "They are holding at just over three hundred kilometres to the East, sir."

"Just within range of their fantastic little missiles," He thought to himself, "I'd like to discourage them from thinking about firing."

Both Marlon and Stone looked at the admiral confused, "What do you mean?" Asked the commadore.

"Get me the CO for the EW squadrons, I want to see what he can do for us," Ordered Good.

Within fifteen minutes Commander Jimmy "Hat" Roberts had arrived, he had his usual Eagle insignia for his pilot qualification, although underneath he also had a Crow badge underneath it, signifying him as an officer with the electronic warfare branch. He saluted as he entered the CIC and approached the admiral as he returned the salute, "What can I do for you, admiral?"

"I'd like to know what you can do for us in order to discourage these newcomers from firing their weapons at our pretty, new ships," Explained Good with a wry smile, "Lieutenant Stone will brief you on the radar suites carried on their vessels."

"They'll have passive radar systems, like all modern vessels," Said Stone as she started, "Which aren't so difficult to defeat, but can wasily be left to the advanced suites aboard the Vorrasi. Their carrier, which we can only guess is their primary detection and indentification array, air search radar systems use C and D-bands and E-bands for its surface search suite. As well, their FCS uses a combined Ka and X band system, we'd like that jammed as well."

"If all you want is their offensive capability taken away from them, we'll only have to focus on that E-band, barrage jam between two and three gigahertz and they're blind beyond the horizon. They could attempt to use their fire control system's frequencies, but then they would have to close range. The higher bands would burn through my squadron's jamming, but we'd know if they wanted to take us on."

Admiral Good nodded in agreement, "Make it so, I want your squadron in the air."

"Aye, sir," Replied the commander as he saluted and exited the CIC. However, as the Europa was still prepared for strike missions and the flight deck crowded with the attack aircraft, it would be up to the EW squadrons aboard the Excalibur to undertake the action. Within half an hour, the first squadron of twenty EA-74C Electric Arrows were in their holding patterns, once in position, the order was sent as they simultaniously switched on their jammers as they radiated the air with radio frequencies, filling any receivers on the E-band with nothing more than noise.

Before I make clear to you my personal, as well as that of the Provisional Military Administrative Council's (PMAC) response to your communique to us, I would like to clear up the campaign of misinformation and lies that have been spread about the international community of late.

The likes of Parthia, The Scandavians and even at times your nation, Aequatio, have talked of the PMAC as being responsible for the overthrow of a 'legitimate government'. Nothing could be further from the truth. Nor is the view that the PMAC have carried out an anti-democratic action, any nearer to the truth as the last misconception and/or lie.

The former Imperial regime was established over eight hundered years ago, when the ancestors of the last Emperor fought off other nations and warlords in a series of wars, to become the sole centre of power and authority throughout historic Ethiopia. Many battles were fought to reach that objective and much blood was shed. So, to accuse the PMAC of not being a legimate authority due to the nature of our Revolution, were we had no choice but to use deadly force to obtain a victory for the Revolution, is either the mark of a general ignorance of Ethiopian history or a willful act of gross hypocracy, depending on the motive of the accuser. History will show you that the former Imperial dynasty killed many more people in their power grab than the PMAC did in our Revolution.

Furthermore, the former Imperial regime was a dictatorship of the Emperor, his associates and the fuedal aristocracy. Political parties of any type were not allowed to exist and trade unions and organised labour were illegal. Given this, how else was the corrupt tyranny of the Imperial regime to be overthrown, as elections were not an option as they did not exist under the Imperial regime. It was the corrupt system of the Emperor that foisted upon us and all our revolutionary brothers and sisters the sole option of armed action to carry out the Revolution. We were never given any other choice.

Also, I am not sure if your nation was aware, but three years ago there was a huge and devastating famine that killed over two million people in our nation. Instead of enacting plans for food distribution and trying to assist these poor people, the Emperor ignored the famine and what little aid we got from the international community for the famine was taken by the Emperor's associates who used this aid for their own corrupt end of filling their pockets with yet more riches. To deliberatly allow two million people to starve to death and to steal their aid is a crime against humanity, hence these very people have now been executed and no amount of cries from other nations calling the executions 'barbaric' will change our minds or the minds of Ethiopians on that matter.

The PMAC has made education and healthcare free state run services for all our people to use at their will, we will embark on housing projects, job creation programmes and industrialisation, so as to raise the standard of living and to empower and enrich the people, not any given small elite of bourgeois and capitalist classes. The freedom to have free healthcare, free education, housing, jobs and equality, all of these must come before any freedoms for speech and voting, as what good is a free press to starving and illiterate farmers or what good is the freedom to vote for a dweller in the slums who has no address and thus cannot vote. It is all well and good for white and rich nations to talk of free speech and free voting and a free press, but for us Africans, we have more pressing tyrannies that need to be overcome before we can have those freedoms.

I hope this gives your nation and you, Mr. President, a clear and honest picture of the real situation in Democratic Ethiopia and will help you see through the fabrications of Parthia and The Scandanavians, who will resort to the most outlandish lies to hide their imperialist warmongering.

The Halladi fleet arrived at the horn of Africa, being sure to keep a good distance away from the fleet from Aequatio. Never the less, they moved off the coast of Ethiopia. Admiral Omar Abdullah Muhammad sat on the busy deck of the HRS Revolution -- an Insurgent-class battlecruiser and the fleet's flagship -- assessing the situation. For now, he felt it unnecessary to get involved with any hostile activity. Even so, he order anti-submarine patrols round the clock from helicopter and Ryydra-class destroyers. The Admiral did, however, send a message to the Ethiopians, requesting the troops they had escorted be allowed ashore.

To support the fleet in the Gulf of Aden, three carriers arrived at the mouth of the gulf, supported by the highly advanced radar ships, costing quite a lot. Overhead in space, recon satellites took in data and images from the Gulf in Infra Red, showing the locations of the Hallad and Aequatio fleets in the ocean.

On board the Viraat, Admiral Chand slammed his hand onto the radar screen, as it went blank on the 80km + range. He picked up the secure com phone and barked orders at his superiors in New Pune, Hdgcfcf to get a solution. A few minutes later, he was seeing feed from space from Hdgcfcf satellites targeted at the gulf in the Infra Red picked up contrails of EA-74C Electric Arrows.

"We'll let them get a bit closer though", the Minister of Military and Defense, a retired General said to Chand. "We have a nice, deadly solution to take them out if they do continue to jam us. We'll be pushing up to Defcon 3, but we will be standing down from the conflict soon. You are under orders NOT TO ENGAGE."

OOC: Hallad, if you had arrived off the coast of Ethiopia by way of the Horn of Africa, you would have passed right by my force which is currently sitting off the coast of Dijibouti in the Gulf of Aden.

OOC: Your fleet is spanning the entire area...?

OOC: It's not, but the area is small enough that you would have passed within weapons range of my forces, which would have been a bad idea considering how tense the situation already is with Hdgcfcf's deployment.

I thank you for your detailed and caring response and explination of the situation and I would like to assure you that our intentions, in addition to the initiation of Operation Divine Hammer, are entirely for the maintainance of the current stability so that your troubled nation may have an opportunity to strengthen itself in the face of a mostly hostile international community.

It is understandable that you wish to avoid contact with the nations of both the Parthians and Scandanavians, as to your nation's aversion to the reinstatement of the monarchy. However, I feel it is important to create open dialogues with other nations in order to grow and gain power around the world.

As for the deployment of our naval forces, including the aircraft carriers Europa and Exbalibur, they will remain on station within the Gulf of Aden to guard against any foreign intrusions to your nation, imperialist or socialist, while the vessels of the Intrepid Carrier Battle Group will be placed within the Red Sea, near the coast of former Eritrea to perform the same mission. The mandate of Operation Divine Hammer is now the protection of Ethiopia's sovereignty against foreign aggression.

Admiral Good scratched his nose as he looked over the flight plots for the EA-74 aircraft, "Their range is good, we haven't completely blinded them, but they don't have the capability to directly strike at us now."

It was then that the admiral's thoughts were interupted as Marlon approached him with a set of satellite images, "They're from fleet, things are becoming even more complicated."

He looked over one set which contained images from the Horn of Africa, showing the movement of the Halladi fleet as it approached the mouth of the gulf. The second set displayed the additional carriers and small vessels from the nation of Hdgcfcf. Good turned to Marlon, "Keep the Hawks in the air, I want them monitoring those ships so closely, I want to know what their admiral's having for dinner," He said irritated as he took a drink from the paper cup filled with black coffee.

Lieutenant-General Jene Roche sat at her desk, surrounded by her advisors as they received the information that surveillance satellites from the nation of Hdgcfcf were also monitoring the situation growing within the Gulf of Aden, "What actions can we take, gentlemen?" She asked the room of generals and colonels.

"We could engage them with the [i]Lancer[/]i platforms, eliminate their satellites," Suggested one of the advisors.

Roche shook her head, "No, that would draw us into an open conflict, we need to do something that will discourage them from wanting to fight," She explained.

"What about blinding them with airborne lasers?" Suggested a young brigadier, "The airborne-mounted lasers on the EB-12B aircraft, if we lower the power level and widen the laser's beam, could effectively blind them if we pass underneath the satellites as they move over the theatre of operations."

"That's better, have the aircraft prepared for launch," Ordered Roche as she dismissed her officers.

Rear Admiral King sat in his quarters, the journey through the Mediterranean had been long, but they were finally approaching the Suez Canal, where they would move into and through the Red Sea and join their comrades in the defence of Democratic Ethiopia. News of the arrival of hostile forces in the theatre of operations had reached the Intrepid and its group, the news was both worrisome and exciting to the crews as they prepared their vessels for the coming mission.

Hydrabad Spaceport, Hdgcfcf

Riding on a pillar of flame, the Low Payload, Low Orbit Vehicle, (LPLOV) climbed into Low Earth Orbit, and released it's payload. This payload was special, in the fact that it looked just like space junk, made of the same stuff of space junk, and cost nearly nothing to manufacture.

The payload consisted of hundreds of pieces of highly reflective fabric, carefully deployed, and created to reflect light of the radio wavelength, designed for a Solar Sail project. When light of a certain frequency was emitted on it, it gave off CO molecules in a certain direction, and thus created thrust, allowing it to a certain degree, reposition itself.

Elsewhere thoughout the country, numerous powerful military radar dishes focused on the payload, and emitted powerful radar at the certain frequency, so that the pieces were deployed in a certain order.

Suddenly, the radars turned to full power, concentrating their energy on the Aequatioan battle group in the Gulf of Aden, via the fabric, disabling, but not damaging their radar and communication arrays, effectively blinding them.

"Perfect" thought the Minister of Military and Defense. "Off the shelf hardware and creative thinking really does work. Especially against the European colonizers who fight to establish their puppet governments in peaceful countries by making excuses."

"By the way, they can't mess with that fabric anymore. We purposely used up all of most of it's CO for thrust, and only we can control them, since they only work at a certain frequency, and direction (way the radar beams hit it).", the Minister of Military and Defense thought. "And by the way, screw me, screw you."

Alarms rang at the Electronic Warfare station within CIC and Admiral Good, followed by Lieutenant Stone, was quickly at the station demanding to know what had occured. The Chief Petty Officer at the station explained, "It appears they are trying to jam our radar systems, admiral, although it is rather unsuccessful, as they appear to have randomly selected a frequency and just blasted it with power."

"Is it having any affect though?" Asked Good as he started to worry, although never showing it.

"If they wanted to jam us, it's not working entirely, even though we're getting odd returns on the SPY-11, all we need to do is start frequency hopping through the S-band and we'll get around what they're trying to do, they can try to match our efforts, but we just need to allow the computer to modulate the frequency randomly, it'll change the frequency faster than they can detect and change their jammer's frequency."

The admiral nodded, "Excellent, make it happen, son," He ordered as he turned to Stone, "What do you make of this, lieutenant?"

Stone thought for a moment, "To be honest, it's difficult to understand their motives for taking this action, more than likely, they could be preparing to strike if they think we're completely blinded."

"Keep the aircraft in the air, the Queers will continue their barrage jam, covering all of their surface search radar's frequencies while the Hawks watch out for enemy aircraft and direct the Deltas in to intercept," Ordered Good as he walked about the CIC, "We're getting close to something here, but they aren't going to push us over the edge."

The Libertarian Empire does hereby declare our wholehearted support for our Aequatian allies, where time and time again we have stood by their side and they by our own. Their cause is indeed noble, and the Libertarian Empire states that it would like to see a democratic system installed in Ethiopia to better serve the interests of the whole population, and not just the few which wish to live under a socialist system. It is our hope that the Aequatian Republic and her valiant troops may bring freedom and democracy to the people of Ethiopia, and still maintain their goals of keeping peace and stability in the region.

It is with regret, however, that the Libertarian Empire cannot engage in active military operations to support our Aequatian allies due to the recent situation involving the alliance known as EVIL. Our nation is still recovering from a devastating nuclear assault from Nova Brittanica, and as such we have devoted our resources to retaliating against those allied against the forces of freedom. Perhaps if the situation clears up in the near future we may be able to pledge full support, but at this point in time we can only watch, and provide vocal support for our allies in arms.

This situation seems to have escalated beyond the realms of sane and rational naval play. The opposing fleets in the Red Sea have drawn special concern from our analysts, and the potential for a preemptive strike by any of the involved forces is something that concerns us very much. As our Aequatian friends and allies are involved in this situation, we believe that this could lead to a conflict that would draw in Haraki and put Harakian lives at risk. As such, we would like to see peace maintained in the Red Sea area at all costs, and Haraki is going to dedicate itself to maintaining peace in the area, primarily through diplomatic means.

This message also goes out to President Holden Reid of Aequatio. If at any time you feel additional forces would be beneficial to the maintenance of peace in the area, send us a message. Although forces in the area are limited, we do have a force which we have designated as on six-hour standdown from Haraki's station in the area for the purpose of reinforcing the Aequatian fleet in the area. Should additional forces be further required, a larger force can be assembled back in Haraki or in one of the larger colonies, and from there dispatched to the Gulf of Aden. We will not deploy these forces unless you request it, and will stick to purely diplomatic means of attempting to maintain peace and stability in the region otherwise. Bearing that in mind, do not hesitate to call on us should our assistance be required.

Now, with regards to the political situation in Ethiopia itself. Although we do not have a problem with the economic system imposed by the new government, the violent and despotic rise to power of the new government is frowned on. We would encourage the government of Ethiopia to free up the voting rights of its citizens, impose universal suffrage, and hold free and open democratic elections. If indeed the socialist faction has been doing good things for the Ethiopian people and should remain in power, it is entirely likely that such a party would be elected in a free election, especially since we have seen such strong feelings of revulsion for the old government. We encourage the government of Ethiopia to allow this as soon as possible.

"So it appears that they are cycling through frequencies.", though Gen. Pratab. "Let's show their fleet what they get for jamming us." The General picked up the phone to contact his Technology advisor.

A few moments later, Maj. Singh was standing in his doorway, wearing the simple khaki uniform that all the personal of the Hdgcfcf Military (including the generals) wear. He put his hand to his head in a salute, and said, "Maj. Sigh at your service". Gen. Pratab acknowledged him saluting him.

The insignia of the hammer and wrench on Maj. Singh's uniform indicated that he was a member of the Techies, an elite force of the elite of the elite in electronics, and other fields of engineering.

"Major, we need your help on what to do. They have scrambled their Air Force up, and have used electronic measures on their planes to disable our main carrier's radar, and have also managed to burn through our jamming. We are need a fix, fast.", Gen Pratab stated in a flat, voice.

"First of all, we are going to do what they are doing with their com frequencies." Major Sing explained. "We'll cycle our own radar, and see how that works, or we could allow each radar to operate at a certain frequency, and that way, it would be able to jam all of of their bands though. The only problem is see with this is wave inference.

"Next, we will get our own darts in the water. If they are going to engage us, which they most likely will, since they took out our radar, we are going of have to be prepared for a strike at any time. You have to remember that the BrahMos missiles do have highly classified features that you are not even authorized to know".

Gen Pratab grunted.

Maj. Singh continued. "There is a reason behind everything in the military. There always is... Ok, back to topic. Our foil sats are doing a good job, but the recon sats are going to be the most valuable, which they are going to target either via Air to Space, Space to Space, or Ground to Space attacks.

"It is an immediate priority to also blind their satellites, like they have done to a few of ours, as a retaliation maneuver to show that we are not going to be stepping down from this conflict unless they are. Alpha Fleet is in the Indian Ocean, and is only a couple of hours away from where the enemy fleet is stationed though, and we need focus more firepower in that area.

"By the way, we also do have many surprises for their fleet in case they do get close, or try to." Major Singh finished with a smirk on his face.

The Holy Empire of Dentara publicly condemns the cowardly uprising of the socialist movement in the nation of democratic Ethiopia. We find the actions of the socialist party to be, at best, criminal, and at worst, anarchistic. As of this moment, a Dentaran task force is preparing to deploy to the area, to suppress and elimenate the socialist movement and streamline the return of an Imperial rule. This task force will consist of the Dentaran Imperial Navy 3rd, 5th and 8th Battle Fleets, supported by the Dentaran Imperial Navy Aerial Combat 3rd Fleet. Upon the removal of socialist government and a return to Imperial rule, all Dentaran forces will withdraw. Should the circumstances warrant it, the Dentaran 1st Blood Guard Corps & the Dentaran 4th Paratroop Brigade will also be deployed.

However, we do not wish to engage in needless bloodshed with other nations. Please withdraw your forces immediately. As you may have noticed, there is currently a situation in the Gulf of Aden which is rapidly devolving into a Mexican standoff between several nations' forces, as Aequatian forces stand between all other nations and the shoreline of Ethiopia, to prevent exactly the types of operations you have just announced your undertaking of to the world. I find it highly likely that should you continue in this course you will end up on a collision course with the Aequatians, our allies, and may well end up in a state of war with them. Rest assured that whatever you start, they will finish. There is no doubt in our minds that they are more powerful than you and any conflict you begin with them will end with your eventual, and probably humiliating, defeat.

Beyond that, and those meaningless threats you probably would have received in nicer tones from any one of a number of nations which have committed themselves, at least diplomatically, to maintaining the peace in the Red Sea area and keeping opposing forces from each others' throats, - such as the nations of Aequatio, Cravan, and Haraki - we are currently working on an attempt to diplomatically ensure free and open democratic elections in Ethiopia, as well as the return of any withdrawn rights from the citizens of the nation in question. I ask you again - not a demand, but a request - to withdraw your threat of military action against Ethiopia, and to stand down your mobilized forces. Thank you.

The Admiral's face contorted as the read the letter from the Dentaran government, and groaned when he finished. Things had just gotten even more complicated.

He lifted up his phone and punched the numbers of the deck commander, and issued an order to get their force up immediately.

Flight deck of the HNS Viraat

Sqd. Leader Arun pushed the throttle of his plane as high as it could go and braced himself against the G-Forces of the Steam Catapult. "All systems are go" he spoke into his mike.

Suddenly, the plane lurched forward as if it was being carried by a giant hand at a very fast speed, and left the carrier, airborne. The Sqd. Leader leveled his plane for a quick ascent to 40,000 feet, and climbed altitude for the next few minutes, amazed by the HAL Rasta B's ascent rate.

A few minutes later, he was given an order to refuel via a KC-103 in flight a few miles away from his present condition, since this mission was of the highest priority, and was a solo plane mission, which demanded full fuel tanks.

After he finished, he engaged the AI, which dropped him in a dive to a few meters above the ocean, where it leveled off the plane. From here, he wouldn't be using the controls of the plane, since it was too risky, but instead, the AI would be controlling the plane.

But this wasn't just any plane in the world. It was the HAL Rasta B, one of the most expensive and elite planes made and manufactured in Hdgcfcf and probably the world. It's stealth coating was 200% more effective, thanks to recent breakthroughs in Quantum Mechanics, and micro engineering my billions of cell sized micro machines.

It had an indigenously made PWDE (Pulse Wave Detonation Engines) that gave it a top speed of Mach 3.9 at sea level, but produced a visible heat signature at full throttle. In addition, it utilized a prototype AI, who unfortunately only could so far control the plane, and not engage in speech.

This all allowed the Rasta to sneak in under the Aequatioan fleet's radar, and right up to their carrier. Arun knew his mission was not of destruction, but of warnining, and took control from the AI. Thankfully, due to the shielding provided by the foil sats, he wouldn't be engaged on his run.

He pushed the throttle up again to 210% and increased his speed to Mach 3.8 and flew right along the deck of the Aequatioan flight at Mach 3.8, narrowly missing a B-52 about to take off.

The sonic boom he created was priceless. It shattered most of the glass windows on the carrier's island, and forced many of it's crewman to lookup in wonder and fright, as Arun sped away from the carrier and tried to climb to 70,000 ft, the ceiling of the Rasta. He jettisoned his two internal empty fuel tanks, and hoped he could get to safety with his two other full tanks.

He noticed on his passive radar multiple bogies trying to trail him, but he knew that they would be unsuccessful. Suddenly, one of the planes trailing him fired a salvo of missiles, at Arun.

Arun braced himself as he tried to break away from the missiles, and activated his jammers. The missiles then disappeared, and the planes trailing him broke away.

An hour later, he landed on the HNS Viraat, and taxied to the elevator, which took his plane into storage in the interior of the Viraat.

He was greeted by an Admiral who congratulated him for his successful "warning" mission, and a reccomendation for a promotion.

The Halladi fleet's anticipated route had been interupted. A friendly fleet was found in a stand-off with a more hostile breed. Admiral Omar Muhammad sighed heavily, anticipating they would not easily be allowed to pass through. Several of his subordinates approached him, making suggestions that varied greatly.

"Attack, now, comrade!" One suggested.

Another would say, "Nay, comrade, we ought to return home."

Then another voice, "Negotiate your way through!"

With a groan, the Admiral shouted an order to open communications with the fleet from Aequatio. Taking up a radio microphone himself, he said the following, in arabic:

"Attention foreign fleet, this is Admiral Omar Abdullah Muhammad, commander of this fleet and representative of the Halladi Workers' Republic. We do not wish any hostilites with your fleet, or your nation, comrades. I will say that first. However, we are here to defend Ethiopia fromany possible foreign incursions. And this means, we are going to Ethiopia. Your fleet -- your nation -- has no right to keep us from the shores of an ally, who would welcome us. Cordially, I ask you allow my fleet to pass through without incident."

He repreated, in english.

Gulf of Aden, Africa

The Admiral smiled... Finally the Hallid fleet had arrived, whose support could be used. He opened up a com chanel with the Hallad fleet, "This is the Admiral of the Hdgcfcf Viraat Battlegroup. We believe we have the same goals as you'll and we need support in the Bay. Pronto. However, we have shut down the Aequatio fleet's communication channels, so you will not expect a response."

The officers of the Nicksyllvanian Fleet met in the Merciless, many through audio connections, various papers and maps spread across the unfinished steel table as well as reconnaissance photographs taken by satelites.
Tapping on the table to get attention, a Commodore stood started the meeting "We are approaching the Gulf of Aden Admiral eta 1.5 hours, from there we will be approximately 80km from our marine drop point. However it appears that Communist forces have arrived to protect the illegitimate scum, as well as the Aequatians."
"What's the estimated strength of the Communist forces?" a destroyer captain asked
"Significant Naval Aviation, Cruise missiles almost certain, inferior numbers but still enough to warrant a threat to our transports."
The Group of officers murmered amongst each other
Clearing his throat, the Admiral then ordered"As we are entering a potential combat zone, I want maximum alertness at all times. Give warning shots to any vessel or aircraft that enters a 10km radius of our fleet, if there is no response, shoot to kill. Ensure that Radar frequencies are at maximum randomness and upgrade our Air cover to Combat Patrol. You are Dismissed"

Indian Ocean, Pratab Battle Group, HNS Pratab

Cutting off the Aequatioan fleet's escape to the Indian Ocean was the Pratab Battle Group, much heavily armed than the Viraat Battle Group. Their force consisted of:

2 Support Battleships
10 Advanced Attack Submarines
3 Missile Subs

In command of them was Admiral Radgur, one of the military heroes of the Sartamy Conflict. This fleet was heavily armed with the latest, and most destructive weapons of Hdgcfcf and equipped with the highly improved BrahMos 2 missile with a top range of 550km.

OOC: Believe me, there's a post coming, especially about some of the things I've seen so far. I have a few complaints as well, but that will be for later.

OCC: Umm... Now would be a good time. BTW, I got the plane thing from a Tom Clancy book. I it was the one where the US plane does the same thing on an Indian carrier. The book was the one where japan invades some of the US islands and attacks its fleet.

OOC: I know, it's been a week and no response, I've just ben busy with work among other things. A few of the things in the last few posts were just absurd.

The idea that you could get an aircraft through the air combat patrols, radar/lidar network and point air defence systems to pull such a stunt is just not possible, a move like that would have been considered a hostile move and your aircraft would have been shot down long before it even reached visual range of the carrier, let alone buzz the superstructure.

Sea skimmers can get through radar.

OOC: Many point-defence weapons (CIWS) are meant to detect and engage sea skimming weapons and aircraft. Sea skimming does not mean "invisible" it just means that it would be more difficult to detect. As well, the surface-to-air missiles used by my forces have an effective range of almost 150km and are more than capable of engaging a target at 21,000 metres (70,000 feet).

Regardless, you can consider that little stunt ignored on my part.
