Introduction:

Funded by the Russian Federation government Voronej State University has created the Комисия Нахождения и Разаботки Натуральных Ресурсов (Finding and Developing the Natural Resources Commission, rus.) charged with remapping the known natural resource deposits of the Federation and finding new ones. The commission has sent expeditions into every region of the nation to fulfill its task. After the process was complete an official report was created and presented to the government after the document has been reviewed by both houses of Parliament and the Presidential cabinet resulting in major reorganization of Russian Federation natural resource recovery first parts of it and then the whole document were declasiffied to attract potential foreign investment in the development of the deposits.

Tin: 83 deposits (73 alluvial + 11 ore)
Tungsten: 28 (17 alluvial+11 ore)
Copper: est. 24.3 million tons

Carbons:

Coal: 56,827.4 tons (86% bituminous coal + 14% brown coal)

Hydrocarbon Raw Materials:

Oil: est. 500 million tons (South-West of the Anadyrsky basin)+ 3,335 million tons [oil+gas] (Chukchee Sea)+ 5,583 million tons [oil+gas] (The East Siberian Sea)
Gas: 5 billion cubic meters+ [Zapadno Ozerny area only, two other promising areas still under assessment]
