John Finnimore sat at his desk listening to the telegraph operator typing out the telegrams he was sending to the Grand Republic of Texas, the Republic of the Great Plains, and the Bear Flag Republic. He figured he would extend the hand of friendship to the other three Republics of America. His reasoning was simple an alliance between the four of them would have all the greatness the old America had but the combat experince from the Second American Civil War.

To: the leaders of the former United States of America.
From: John Finnimore of the Republic of Cortellen.

The war is over. Stop. Now let us look towards peace among ourselves. Stop. I am not suggesting we become a single country but I am suggesting we join in an alliance. Stop. Think of what that would mean. Stop. The power of the old America added with what we have learned in the 15 years since the war started. Stop. I for one am willing to forget about the wounds that were inflicted in 1920. Stop. I hope you are as well. Stop. I invite you to send an representitive to New York City to talk about relations between us. Stop.
