I'll be the General of the Police, if you wouldn't mind.
Here you go.
Emperor- Obviously the ruling power of the country.
Judge-General of the Imperial Court- Drafts the laws then presents them to the Emperor, the emperor signs off on them and they become law. ( or he can go the other justices and get their approval to override the emperors rejection of the proposed law) The Judge-General also has within his power to enforce the laws. He has control over the military in the emperor’s place. But the judge-general still gets his/her orders from the emperor.
Lower Justices of the Imperial Court: just what the name implies. The names after each Justice are the cities in which he resides.
Justice of Nethar- Law maker of the particular city he/she is in. Must submit the proposed law to the Judge-General, and from there on to the emperor; if the law is rejected he can get a majority vote from the other justices and still have his law passed. He control the CP in his/her own city. ( CP, citizens’ police force )
Justice of Lathin- ditto
Justice of Trezv-ditto
Justice of Nebtrikn'-ditto
General of the Army-Control all army missions in the name of the emperor and the Judge-General; can get orders from both the emperor and the judge-general. If the general of the army receives contradicting orders, he must follow the orders of the emperor.
Admiral of the Navy- Control all naval operations for the empire; can get orders from both the emperor and the judge-general. If the Admiral of the Navy receives contradicting orders, he must follow the orders of the emperor.
General of the Air force- Controls all air attack or defense operations for the empire; can get orders from both the emperor and the judge-general. If the General of the Air Force receives contradicting orders, he must follow the orders of the emperor.
Commander of the JTOD ( Joint Task and Operations Division)- only used during time of war, this is a section of the military headed by anyone appointed by the Judge-General. The JTOD have full access to all branches of the military. It may not wage aggressive campaigns, only defensive.
General of the Police- Controls the CP for every city, gets orders from the justices of the cities. In times of great distress he receives his orders straight from the judge-general.
Citizens’ Council- a tribune of ordinary citizens’ that get together to draft laws and present them to the justices of the cities and the judge-general. replaced every 6-8 years.
I'll be the General of the Police, if you wouldn't mind.
Make sure you read the small description of the job first.
A more in depth description of the title: he has the power to search any building at any time, and can arrest anyone at anytime. As long as there is a reason. Runs the prisons, and makes sure execution senteces are carried out.
General of the police is also an active military branch, and can partisipate in military endeavors. The squads in the military act as sort of an MP.

Yes; don't screw up. We have a major conflict with Undbagarten, in a few days. I recieved a threatning telegram, and they are mobilizing against our newly founded country.
Undbagarten has just got out of a catastrophic civil war and is looking for an enemy to bear down on to distract the population, they have chosen us.

I won't. Trust me.
EDIT: Do you have a map of your nation? That way I can plan a better defense and eventually an ground offense against him. Also, how large is this nation?
I have to leave, just post what position you want and I will make my final decisions soon after.
I won't. Trust me.
Good, prepare our defenses and mobilize the army. Post your every action, since I havn't filled the position of Judge-General I will have to approve any major spending my may need to do.

If it's acceptable, and you're not already controlling him yourself, would you especially mind if I took this post?
I'd like to take the post because I prefer character roleplay to entire Nation, and thus could focus on his personality, and while I might influence your decision making ultimately you would still be in control of your Nation.
Also, I think this sounds like a V. interesting idea, and would like to be part of the project.
But it's cool if you'd rather have somebody else.
^^
Either way- Good luck with it.

Do, Not by any means initiate an offensive strike, you don't even know where the country is yet, I will post a map soon. Just concentrate on defenses. Our army is too undertrained. Fix that will you.

Which postion, if it is judge-general, sure, I need someone to watch over the general of the army. If its emperor, I'll think about it. SHit, I have to go, if you so decide, I hereby grant you the postition of judge-General if you will take it. If you don't like it we will discuss it on a later date when I am back on.

Should I make a new thread for this? Also, if you have a map of your nation prepared, and numbers for your military which I can work with, I'll design military Divisions, Corps, and Entire Armies for me to operate with (Of course with your approval.) then I'll set up a defense and prepare to fight.
EDIT: I will not initiate an offensive until he has actually attacked us, and has been beaten back into the sea.

*Is Judge-General*
If its emperor, I'll think about it.
Personally I think that you should play the Emperor, it's your Nation, and the easiest way of controlling it would be to control directly the man in charge.
