The cameras focused in on his face, the lights glared in his eyes. Sir Michael McCullough was woken up early from a deep sleep with this urgent news, and he hoped it didn't show.

At first He'd been shocked by the news that he was about to deliver to the world via this televised news conference, but now he had merely resigned to it as fact, and left it at that. It wasn't as if his position was in Danger after all, the New Chancellor supported him just as much as the old one did. Probably because Sir McCullough had promoted him to the rank of First Councilor to the Delegate, under rule of the Former Chancellor, when no one else paid him much attention. Maybe because the New Chancellor and King Liam, Sir McCullough's Liege, were distant relatives. Ah well, as long as he was able to continue his work on the United Nation's Floor, it was of little concern to him who headed the government.

A film crew hand informed Sir McCullough that he was on, He took a deep breath, cleared his throat, and began...

"Peoples of the World
Last night, the Founder and Supreme Chancellor of the region of Confederacy of Dictators, Visroy, was overthrown in a bloodless coup.

The King of the Dictatorship of Sniveling Whiners, King Killemall, has taken his place as the Regions New Supreme Chancellor.

Chancellor Killemall is now the (as yet) undisputed Ruler of the Region.

Now follows my official letter to the Nations of the Confederacy;

Nations of the Confederacy of Dictators;

Great works of Nations, when Nations come together to build something new, as have we, are turbulent in their construction. To Better Build up an Empire, forces must conflict.
You can’t forge a good sword without hammering and tempering it into shape.

That said, I feel it is my duty as ([temporarily] Former) United Nations Delegate for the Confederacy, serving previously under Supreme Chancellor Visroy, of the events that have transpired.

Last night, between the hours of One and Three AM EST, a coup was staged within the highest levels of Our Confederate Government, in which the then Supreme Chancellor Visroy was removed, forcedly, from his throne, and he, his dear wife, and family, were sent from their Imperial Palace, in the winter cold, with little more than the clothing on their backs and transport to the Rejected Realms.

His Throne was seized by the Former Chancellor’s Captain of the Police (CoP), King R. D. Killemall of the Dictatorship of the Sniveling Whiners.

King Killemall believes, as do I, that he was acting in the best interest of the Confederacy.

Unfortunately, in order to ensure that the coup went smoothly, with a minimum of unpleasantness, King Killemall was forced to also temporarily eject all other Nations from the confederacy.

This was not intended to harm, insult or slight anyone of the member nations; it was merely an unpleasant necessity.

The New Chancellor Killemall ensures me that all nations ejected during the course of last night’s events are welcomed back with warmth and open arms.

I am told that the New Chancellor supports the Idea of a New Confederate Government, in which nations still respect all Laws and Rights as laid down in the Constitution, but in where the government itself is streamlined, and relaxed, so that the Confederacy becomes a Brotherhood of Equals.

No more will the Supreme Chancellor’s office be meeting you with demands, but with a relaxed smile, so that we can better enjoy each other’s company, as friends, brothers, not as rulers and peons. We all absolutely rule over our Nations, the New Chancellor wants this to be the place where we come together as equals.

I have been allowed to retain my position, with the Chancellor Killemall’s full support, as Delegate, and it is his Decree as Founder that all should support his decision, so that I may more properly and effectively present our views to the UN Floor.
May All Nations return to this Confederacy with Goodwill and Cooperation at heart.

May the Confederacy Ever Remain,
And May Supreme Chancellor Killemall Always Steer Her True.

Such does the letter conclude.

It is my sincere hope that the Confederacy will continue towards a brighter tomorrow, and that the New Chancellor will always act with the Confederacy's best interest at heart.
God Bless the Chancellor
and God Bless the Confederacy

Speaking on behalf of
-His Eminence, Supreme Chancellor R.D. Killemall, King of the Sniveling Whiners
-His Imperial Majesty, Priest and King, Liam of MacDraiocht
-The Office of the Delegate to the United Nations

I am Sir Michael McCullough, ArchKnight of His Royal Majesty and Church of MacDraiocht

And Humble Servant of the Confederacy

Thank you for Your Cooperation, and Support

And with that, televisions all across the world returned to their Regularly Scheduled Programming.
