There are 3 planets in the Vadras system ( excluding the sun).

1: Vardas prime: a lush green world with fertile feilds and forests. Suitable for all units.

2: Vardas II: A vicious rainforest world, crawling with dangerous native beasts. Unsuitable for heavy vehicles.

3: Vardas minor: A ringed planet of rock with a poisonous gas atmosphere. Not many infantry types can survive here.

And of course: the space of the Vardas system. Any number of players can join, but a max of around six would be ideal. It's an FT battle, and i'll start it when another player joins. First post must be you're army list.

"Commander-General, we have exited Fold:Space in high orbit above Vadras Prime. Superlasers primed and ready. The Unbreakable reports a Superlaser targeting solution on Vadras II, the Revolution on Vadras Minor. Orders?"
"Destroy Vadras II and Minor. They are no longer useful. We move in force to Vadras Prime. Begin bombardment of potential landing sites to ensure they contain no resistance."
"At once Commander-General!"

As one, the Unbreakable and Revolution fired their central superlasers, eradicating two worlds in the blink of an eye...

The Special Action Division's strongest weapon exited hyperspace roughly twenty minutes at sublight from attack range of the star. When the Sun Crusher reached its firing point, all in this system would cease to exist

"It's the Skgorrians, Commander-General. Tactics says they have a Suncrusher."
"Shit. Withdraw to the edge of this system and leave drones to observe."
"Yes sir."

In the blink of an eye, the huge space fleet vanished, only to reappear on the furthest reaches of the system in a flash of blue-white light.

Ten minutes to firing range the computer blared, causing the pilot to jump and slam the controls, sending the ship into a spin.
"Fuckfuckfuck," he cursed as he was thrown around the cabin. If he'd turned on the gravity compensator, he would be secure in his seat. However, as the result of a bet involving a week's sexual allowance, he'd turned it off and now would be thrown around like this until he stopped the spin.

The dimunitive ship continued towards the star...

A dispach of pods headed for Vadras Prime; their target, the open fields and abandoned settlements, made an ideal ambush or forward base oppertunity. In this first strike force, 5 Dragonflies, 10 Cockroach Dropships, 750 infantry, 250 stormtroopers, 5 cobra AA trucks and 5 alligator tanks dropped to the planet.

In space, one wraith waited to refresh the ground forces. Backing it against enemy attack there were 2 atlantis cruisers.

Commander Kurkez, leader of the initial task force on Vadras Prime, was in the command post ( An abandoned oil refinery). Kurtez had checked: the oil had ran out many years ago. The dragonflies rested on the ground in a nearby airport, guarded by 250 infantry. all his stormtroopers remained in the buildings, and the remaining infantry were hiding it out in hastily dug trenches and riverbeds. The Cobras established a clean killing zone, and the alligators kept back, ready to rush the weakened enemy forces.

A Pic-screen blipped into life in front of Kurtez. He stood to attention at the face of his Benevolent leader, High Father Jens Dhelsann.

"News?"

"Men dispatched, ready to take the fight to the enemy."

"Do not fail me, Kurtez. If you do, i suggest joining our-" He contemplated:
"Victims"

With an evil smirk, the Pic-screen died. Kurtez gulped.

"The fools have stayed on Vadras Prime," snickered the Fleet's 2iC.
"Then they will die and Atopiana will grow stronger," returned the Commander-General.

After a few minutes of struggling against the gravity, the pilot was able to throw himself across the cabin and stop the spin.
Spin now corrected the computer announced.
"Piss off," the pilot snarled, noting that he had come into firing range. He began the arming sequence and primed a energy resonance torpedo, then fired it. He was rewarded by it streaking towards the star at near-lightspeed velocity.
Torpedo away the computer announced, but the pilot was too busy turning the small craft away from the star. The torpedo burrowed into the star's core releasing dense packets of energy that rendered the star's core unstable, and would soon cause a supernova within the star, and the pilot had no wish to be around when that happened.

"Torpedo away."
"Jump now!"

As the star began to expand, the Atopian Expeditionary Force opened their Fold:Space gates and were no longer there. At the same instant they flicked back into existance 25 light years away...

Admiraless Qurt* of the heavenly blade obsidian class looke at viewing screen "DURMAT" she swore when she saw the suncrusher.
"We're the only ship large enough to destroy that craft ma'am"exclaimed her second-in-command
"I know, prepare all weapons, and I mean ALL captain!" she replied, her cyber-suit rippling. The obsidian slid closer to the suncrusher and all the many weapons of the elementaly huge ship began to appear and self-load. Suddenly, with a flash of laser-fire, the guns were let loose and explosions of bright light spread all over the suncrusher. First smoke, then flame began to leap out of the surface of the ship. It began to fall, first slowly and then faster, it was quickly disappearing from the obsidians veiw screen.

"THIS IS INSANE!" Shreiked Dhelsann. The unfortunate steward was blown across the bridge by the Father's personal scatter rifle.

"Do we have ANYTHING capable of stopping that supernova?"

"Not at hand sir. The only possible objects would be the supplies in our hydrogen bombs."*

"Use them. I want this planet."

No-one comprehended as to why the Father wanted this place, but the steward hadn't been cleaned up yet.

"LAUNCH SEQUENCE ACTIVATED"


* A bit unrealistic, bu otherwise this RP will be insanely pointless.

Vessel under attack, weapons destroyed the computer stated.
"Fine, and our hull?" the pilot asked.
Intact, quantum armour has repelled all attacks
"Excellent," grinned the pilot as his ship was buffeted by the various blasts from the capital ship.
"That sure is one damn big ship," he said aloud.

Then the sun went nova.

OOC: Seeing as though the Suncrusher took a direct hit from a Death Star, it can probably withstand any attack from a capital ship.

"Our drones report the sun has exploded, Commander-General."
"Excellent. Bring us in to 5 light years out."
"At once, sir."

Again the instant shift of the stars...

Due to the unique nature of Vadras prime's structure, continents now floated through space, each with their own personal atmosphere. The first sharfghotten strike force was obliterated, but Dhelsann didn't care. He saw, in floating planets, completely FREE space stations.

"Send men now!" he screamed. Now his mouth was throthing. The crew were worried.

As the huge Atopian space fleet exited Fold:Space in-system, the World Devastators immediately began devouring the remnants of the planets. Amazingly quickly, whole continents were stripped to their atomic constituents and subsumed into the giant factory vessels.

Superlasers flared from the prows of the Ultras, disintegrating the larger of the asteroids.

Main gun batteries cleared a path through the asteroid field, licking out at the shattered wrecks of the two fleets that had had the misfortune to remain in-system...

Only half of the fleet had remained in system; luckily, that was a small amount. One ragnarok and a 3 frigates remained, along with a Wraith and a landing craft. The world devourers were an abomination. A landing craft was screened by it's sheilds, dropping excess of 250,000 stormtroopers onto the foul ships. Dragonflies engaged the world devourers escort.

High Father Jens Dhelsann almost felt guilty at what was about to happen. He took an active- camo pod and remained at the docks of his ragnarok, still feeding orders. this was gonna be interesting...

Without even bothering to inform the vessel's bridge, Top Quadrant Gunnery Command redirected the fire of his 7,500 superheavy turbolasers, 10,000 heavy turbolasers, 25,000 lasers and 250,000 torpedo launchers to engage the surviving craft.

World Devastator 24, engaged as it was by enemy vessels, turned its atomic reduction systems on them. This combination tractor-beam and atomic smasher would lock the enemy in place and then consume them, atom by atom, in under ten seconds.

The enemy infantry met death in the form of a million robots on board the World Devastator - and as one was destroyed, another fifty would be produced by the super-factories' production lines...

Dhelsann was shitting his pants. His hands were shaking, and as he drew a star over his chest. As the sign completed, his body was racked with spasms. His fleshy prison burst forth and a hulking demon spread it's leathery wings.

"BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!"

He looked around. his ship had been blown apart, bodies and wreckage floaating through space. He picked up a handful and munched, then swung his daemonic axe. A firestorm of destruction blinded him, but there was blood to be shed, he couldn't stop...

The fleet was in tatters. Apart from a solitary world devourer, he was the only sentent being for several million light years. He left the critical ship and flew through the void, looking for some more carnage.

(OOC getting bored now- ha)

"So you're sure you've been able to track them?"
"Affirmative, we've traced their drive back to their home system."
"Send data to the Sun Crusher"
"As ordered"

New targeting data recieved the computer informed the pilot.
"Oh can't I just...hmm excellent!" the pilot cackled, as the Sun Crusher jumped to the Sharfghotten home system and fired a supernova torpedo in it.

The ASV Grand Line collided with the Bloodthirster at a combined speed of .98 light.

The massive vessel didn't even notice the Bloodthirster as it impacted against its shields as a fly would hit a car's windscreen...

What I am going to say is that you'll need to find a new system to play with, and may I suggest more planets, an asteroid belt or two, and a comet or three? Perhaps a twin-sun system.

Each has many augmentations that give them the strength of 2 olympic athletes. and the armor gives them even more strength. the armor has shields that can take a hit of anything short of an anti tank weapon. each has a blaster cannon that can take down light armor, and are trained to be a tactial genius. With troops like that i don't need numbers.

Define anti-tank weapon. My generic pistol tends to kill tanks(something about a massive kinetic explosion...). And my rifle tends to kill anything the pistol won't. And if I ever have to use the heavy support cannon, there won't be much left but a fine mist and a vague smear. Also define light armor. APCs? Infantry armor? Light Tanks?

How fast are they moving? The shields are very vunerable to low velocity projectiles. Their guns are meant for use against light tanks, but they are used against infantry.
