Throughout his life Pierre Douala had been told that his dreams of running a country would not be easy to obtain or simple to do.

Indeed it was not always simple he was coming to find, the world did not exist in black in white as he had thought when he was but a child. Age and experience had caught the man in a trap of gray matter, of circumstance where he had to use his logic and wit to escape. It just so happened that some of the worst traps he had ever faced were that of his own morality, the ones that tugged him one way while his heart tugged the other. Pierre was a time bomb, a tragic keg of gunpowder set to explode, his life was just a clever aversion of self destruction, thus was the way he lived, his burden.

Unnoticed by the general populace, the president of Cameroon walked through the dirt streets of Yaoude, his footsteps lost in the hordes of people. Too many he just looked like a man, heavily muscled yet retaining the boyish grace of his youth. A solid cold wind blew from the east brushing heavily against the man's face and he turned away his blue eyes focusing on the capital building, his mind mulling over what had happened in his country recently and what he had recently been told about the current government standings.

Cameroon itself was calming after the recent events that included the death of the former leader and that of another election. It was all quite involved and muddled with political intrigue. Stuffing his hands in his pocket he bit his lower lip and headed through the wind waiting for his ride to arrive his two personal guards a mere ten steps behind dressed as normal citizens. As expected the streets were bustling with action, men and women running across the red sand. Even the very air was choked with the noises of electronic devices and the echoes of voices against the walls of the buildings they walked between. Cameroon was coming into the modern world and he was going to be the one to lead them into it. Hopefully for the better, and hopefully his talks with the Prime Minister of ALM could jumpstart his fledgling nations way into the world.

[ooc: umm... please jump on the plane to Al Qahirah :D - I'll wait...]

The PM continued to wait, wondering if the Cameroonian President was detained by sand storms over the Sahara...

Making his way to the airport Pierre was hardly recognized and he didn't mind. His country had just elected him and seemed to not place the name they voted for with the face. Stepping through security he found his countries security measures very secure. Walking up the stairs and into the passenger area of the plane he took a seat across from Yusuf Hasan.

"Thank you for meeting with me sir."

[ooc: I suppose now I'm on the plane... :D]

Hassan nodded and invited Douala to settle on a chair on the plane. "It is always a pleasure. I'm glad to see the first steps to recovery in Cameroon. But I'd imagine that your work has been tiring, and I imagine that there is much work has yet to be done, so I encourage you to rest until we arrive in Al Qahirah."
