And so, the war raged on.

The nation of New Albor had surrendered, and the First Haven Domination Fleet – of which only 360 ships remained – had now a new mission. They had to invade the Church of the Nine. Why? The strategic reasons remained classified, but the basic plan was known. All members of EVIL had to be brought to heel – and that meand all of them.

And so, after the victory celebrations were over – only a brief party aboard the capital ship of the fleet, really – the fleet turned and chose a new target. The target, as mentioned, was New Albor.

The ships spread out on an immense front one hundred kilometers wide and a like amount of kilometers deep, and took course towards the new target. To the people of The Church of the Nine, a message was sent, simple and succinct, openly broadcasted on all frequencies:

You have a choice.

Surrender, turn over all unit banners and a dozen or so golden statues, leave EVIL, and live.

Two of your allies have already surrendered to coalition forces, and one has been destroyed completely. Not even cockroaches will now live where Nova Brittania was. You have a choice – surrender, or face the complete destruction of all government institutions, the death of all your troops, your government leaders – all people responsible for your policy.

On the other hand… surrender, and live on in peace.

The Church of Nine

Money was not to be a concern in the Church of Nine, it was not to hamper this potential war machine. In order to do this, Kroando, and more importantly the Helicon Corporation was to become active. Kroando was a nation with remarkably low taxes, where many nations would tax, fifty, sixty, a hundred percent of the national domestic product, 20% was the national income tax in the Coalition. Thus, there was money floating around, and much of it was in the hands of one man. Richard Helicon.

The Church was a small nation, some would call it a disadvantage... however to Helicon, it was perfect. Billions of Helicon Credits were being pumped into the nation, preparing to 'float the economy' in the unsetteling times that were to come. This would allow for the military conscript more men, to buy more guns, to make more ammunition... to fight a war without fear of the dollar sign. Allanea was bigger, but that did not mean the Church could not prove to be a pest... perhaps more than that. Along with guns came supplies. Guns were smuggled in through various borders, thousands of small arms, ammunition clips, explosives and fuel.

In addition to this, Legionnaire Marc Troops, the best of Kroando were now set with the task of organizing and training Church Militia's. Equipped with the best Kroando had to offer, and trained as their own, it began quickly. Rest was not existant. War was on the horizon, and if Helicon had it in his power to make them ready, he would. They only needed hold out until reinforcements arrived, which they in time, would. Over 240,000 civilians, volenteers were being trained and organized into various units and forces across the nation, massive ammo caches being hidden in towns and cities, as well as in nature. With over 4,000 Coalitionists spread throughout the nation, they would at the least, make things interesting.

[Of course this is assuming TCo9 permits me to train these volenteers.]

Most Reverend Father Obillard, at 83 years old, glanced at the two pieces of paper on his desk.

"So, it begins."

He looked at his supreme commander, Father Johan. "New Plans. The Burnsian Desert does not seem to be in any position to capture a beachhead. As such, take the VII VIII IX and X Armies. Reinforce Mundeim with the IX, Send the VIII and VII north, And keep the Tenth in reserve. Conscript another 2 million men. No screw, 3 million. The usual. half infantry, 1/5 artillery, the rest armoured division. Another 10 armies, each with 15 divisions of infantry, oh, you know the drill. Send 5 armies north, spread the others around hte countryside. We are not going down without a fight."

Father Johan nodded and backed out the door.

"Father Johan?"

He turned around. "Yes?"

"Don't lose"

The catchy phrase was in common use throught New Aeson. After all, who could protest against such a noble endeavor? Since New Aeson had pledged logistical support, they had been looking for an opportunity to provide some more solid, military assistance.

"The submarine Wolfpacks?" Asked Military Commander Blak.

"We have three groups of fifty anti-shipping subs ready to sail. We're organizing three more. In addition, there are fifty submarines which will be operating independently."

"Excellent," said Blak, "Give order for them to move within range of the major shipping channels to The Church of the Nine. Any ships from the EVIL Alliance, or from Toopoxia are fair game."

The Wolfpacks would operate according to Aesonic Naval Doctrine, essentially picking the juciest target of any group, with targeting assistance from satellites, launching torpedoes from miles off, and then, as soon as the torpedoes were away, scattering before an effective reprise could be organized, let alone carried out.

Aboard the Allanean ships, all was as usual. As they say in Hebrew: “All is open, and the permission is given.”

And so, when the Allanean ships where within 450 kilometers of the coast of the Church of the Nine, all was open and the permission was given. Each one of the light cruisers with the fleet – of which there were fifty – fired five Shockhound I anti-ship missiles at air defense installation on the shore of the country. These missiles were only the first blow, designed to ‘feel out’ the weaknesses of the opponent – the Allaneans would learn from this strike how many more rockets to launch.

In the meanwhile, a message was sent to the Aesonians:

Recently our Dominion has entered this campaign in defense of the E.V.I.L organization, and our ships have been dispatched to many corners of the world to counter the work of this 'Coalition'. Now it seems that your nation has become a target, and as such, we are offering our support.

We have allotted for the entire E.V.I.L campaign eight of our available Battle Fleets, a number which is rapidly becoming less than ideal. It is for this reason that we are mobilizing five of our Imperial fleets to shield your lands, as commanded by Fleet Admiral Bezson Blagodatskii.

He shall have in his command Xi, Nu, Kappa, Lambda, and Mu fleets, a total of well over six-thousand ships, as well as each fleets amphibious transport section, bringing the contents of one full naval Marine Strelkovy army group, as well as a legion of the Emperor's famed Grazskar Legionaries. This force is expected to arrive within fourteen days.

Also, it is fit now to inform the E.V.I.L. alliance bloc that the Emperor has ordered the mobilization of our remaining ten battle groups throughout the Dominion, in preparation for a larger war.

Therefore, HM Government has authorised the transfer of twenty billion pounds to your nation to assist in wartime purchases. Furthermore, six naval task forces are currently en route to your nation in an effort to defend The Church of the Nine at all costs.

Theres a map for you, If you need one. And my navy consists of 1 SuperDreadnought, 10 dreadnoughts and 100 smaller ships, usually keeping the free ports open from piracy. At the moment, 10 of the smaller ships are in the Lake.

From the various formations the Pudite ships found themselves in, they assembled, each fleet forming in themselves a massive crescent, designed to provide the most protection for each vessel.

Over the last week, the Dominion of Emperor Pudu has pledged their support on multiple fronts, in an extremely military fashion, to the nations of the EVIL organization, one made up of nations little known or concerned of by our Emperor. In doing this the Emperor has brought the Dominion deep into a projected prolonged combat with some of the greatest powers of the world. And still we did not falter. The Emperor and his soldiers pledged their lives to defend this union, and that was the way it remained until two hours previous to this message.

Now, you are alone. The Dominion is revoking all support we had pledged to you, and all forces from all fronts are being recalled. No soldier of the Pudite Emperor will die for you, no supplies will you receive, and no support will you garner from us in the future.

I say that we should make maneuvering much easier by combining every two armies. Raise as many new regular armies as we can provide, and another 2% of our population should be Conscripted. We will not fall!"

ORBAT for new armie formation.

22 divisions of infantry, each consisting of 10 battalions of 10 companies of 100 men. Each companie has 100 yards barbed wire, 110 Assualt rifles, 10 sniper rifles, 10 antitank rifles and 5 revolutionary "Devil's Breath" Longrange Antiarmour rifle. Each has 15 APC's.
20 division's of Various Armoured Tanks. each division has 100 tanks and 300 men.
400 heavy 4-man guns, 800 light 2-man guns, and 1200 standard 3-man guns.
27 hundred special forces.

That would be 21 regular armies, plus 1 conscript army with no special forces and only 20 divisions infantry, plus the 240 000 militia scattered across the Churhc, plus 4000 Kroandoan troops, and that's not counting Evil Mech Ninja Zombie, my neighbour to the east, who is also in this war, and my other Neighbour, Nanocia, may help as well. Might want to rethink your strategy?

Oh, plus my Airforce of 1000 fighters, 900 bombers and 1200 carriers. And my navy of 2 SuperDreadnoughts. 10 dreadnoughts, 20 destroyers, and roughly 100 small craft?

We will accept all allied assistance. As of now, we are moving the First Haven Domination Fleet towards their nation, in the direction of the enemy navy. Further, our Second Force Projection Fleet has also been directed towards the enemy, but it may take time to arrive.

Norting Missile Headquarters

Major Eintim was scared. Very scared. Out of the 250 missiles cruising towards the Church, 5 were pointed directly at this building.

"Fire surface to air missiles!"

500 missiles should have been enough to more than take out the missiles, but the old 'Derringer' missiles did not have the technology to avoid being fooled by chaffs and flares, and some just plain missed. Only 100 Khan missiles were taken out. And all five missiles heading for Norton Missile Headquarters were still on track.

"Holy crap! Here they co-!"

The whole missile headquarters was destroyed, everyone in it dead.

Mundeim Military Base

The runner was killed instantly, and Commander Johan had to be taken to the hospital for numerous broken bones.

Holy Temple of the Shield

Father Obillard himself was giving a sermon.

Father Obillard had to be treated for a broken leg and an arm, and was stunned by the trauma.

And in many other places, The missiles struck, with disastrous consequences.

Johan barely looked up from the map of Mundeim he was poring over. "I know. Now if we dig along the perimeter of the plateau..."

"Well, what do we do?"

Johan really did look up. "What do you think? Shoot those missiles out of the sky!"

"But they took out almost all of our Anti missiles."

"Damn! Don't let them reach Mundeim. Use whatever we have to to stop them."

"Ugh. Yessir"

All remaining missiles were fired, and a distress signal was sent to Nanocia and (Mech ninja zombie) requesting aid.

250 missiles were taken out in the first volley. The second, another 250. The other 500 smashed into Mundeim, destroying houses, buildings, workplaces, and one hit directly on a primary school. 200 children were killed, 100 wounded, while the adult casualty toll reached into the thousands.

After a survey of damage, 100 valour type missiles were sent zooming towards the fleet in retaliation. (remember those from kroando's arsenal?)

"What'd you mean we hit civillians! This is great. I go around feeling guilty, damn media won't give me a rest... Fire another round. Target ONLY government buildings."

"Yes Sir."


Another wave, 2,000 in number, spiraled out of their various silos towards the Church's Government buildings- and nothing else.

We have joined the coalition against E.V.I.L., and we have a preposition for the terms of the Church's surrender. We only wish to take out their government in the Church, not to harm the people. We propose the following:

From the Allanean ships, another salvo of Khans rose – this time, there were much more Khans, a full 500 in number, aimed towards enemy anti-air and and anti-missile installations. To Laquasa Isle, a message was sent:

This is fully acceptable to us. However, we believe that additional precautions should be taken in the treaty. We are sending our own conditions to Church of the Nine

To Church of the Nine, a message was sent:

These are your conditions of surrender. Sign them, or we bury you.

1.The Church of the Nine will establish a democratic government, and secure to it's citizens, at the bare minimum, freedom of speech, religion, protest, sexuality, enterprise, private property and the privileges of voting and fair trial.

2.The Church of the Nine will transfer to the United States of Allanea it's 2 superdreadnaughts, 2 battleships, and additionally, all military banners and such insignia.

3.The Church of the Nine will leave EVIL and cease all assistance to EVIL in the Sovereign League-EVIL conflict.



See? We're reasonable!

We have but a few things to add to the conditions of the Church's surrender:


*A short occupation to ensure stability and fullfilment of demands
*Purely defensive military, very limited attack weapontry will be permitted
*No nuclear arsenal will be built. A missile-defense shield may be constructed
*These terms are added demands of the Allanean's and our previous ones.


We hope you agree to our terms, the alternative- your Capital becoming a mushpile.

After almost every single missile had been fired, and Mundeim still very badly messed up, Johan was getting very... weird.

Many of the High Council are dead, and the rest injured, and the Most Reverend Father Obillard Zarkonian has sued for peace. When the first Demands came, they were accepted, with one new request.

That help be given to rebuild the churches and temples that served as government HQ during peace, and came up as government buildings when the attacks happened.

As soon as the declaration that the terms were being accepted reached his ears, Johan started to act more calm then usual, as if a great weight had been lifted off his shoulders. He often stared into space, as if distracted by something.


OFFICIAL RESPONCE TO TERMS OF SURRENDER

The Church of the Nine accepts the terms of the surrender, but asks that help be given to repair the holy places harmed by the missile strikes. We ask no other concessions, whatsoever.

The missiles struck, or at least the 25 that could get through SafeNet did. The Imperial Republic lost 8,000 Marines, 5 Zumwalt Destroyers, and 3 Counquistador Supercarriers. A monument was under construction in Lorai.

A note of thanks for the fullfilment of demands, along with 1 trillion USD to rebuild Defensive Forces, Government Buildings, Roads, Chuches, Monuments, etc. were given to the Church. There were now governors in place for each Church province, and a puppet senate untill elections 3 months in the future.

As the peace was now declared, Allanean troops turned and left. Only two divisions were left, airlifted into Church of the Nine. Their duty was simple - to hold up democracy and the rule of law.

The superdreadnaughts were placed in port in Allanea, and the two battleships melted down. The metal was used to make gold-plated statues of every Sovereign League and Greater Prussian leader, as well as the leaders of Laquasa Isle, Rejistania, Knootoss, and both leaders of Greater Menelmacar. The statues were ten meters tall and were soon distributed to the leaders of these nations.
