The time has come for elections in The Worker's State of Kulikovia. For the past few years the Democratic Socialist Party has dominated the political scene. despite their numerous successes their power has wained. The culmination of these recent failures is the disasterous war in the Burnsian Desert. Amoungst other scandals and a slight economic slump, the workers and comrades of Kulikovia demand change. The General Assembly has announced that special elections shall be held.
Nominees for Prime Minister:
The Democratic Socialist Party (Liberal Socialist): Prime Minister Dantes (currently in power)
The People's Revolutionary Party (Radical Socialist): Yuri Greganov
The Islamic Union (Liberal): Tirik Al-Hayed
The Judicial Party (Conservative): Gunther Rhinehart
The DSP is the current political party in charge and its' doctrine is the support of Socialist goals. The reform of industry and the moderation of capitalist elements within the nation. They have a good track record but now support is waining.
The PRP supports wars of liberation and Socialist causes around the globe. They are staunch anti-capitalists and desire to exclude any capitalist elements in the nation. They are the most radical of the political parties.
The IU is a progeressive Islamic party which advocates the tolerance of Islam in the Russian Orthodox dominated nation. They believe with strengthening diplomatic ties in the Middle East
The JP is the most conservative party in the nation. They support capitalism and free trade.
