North African Province(Formerly the Brotherood of Nod)
Patrol vehicles rolled down the streets of several cities, bearing markings not seen in years. People scatter as the vehicles approach and they do not come out again until they are out of sight. Tanks move across the Sahara, towards military instalations controlled by the Intercontinental Empire of Crimmond, attack helicopters overhead.
Crimm Marines roll out to meet the army that has materialized from the wastes, tanks and fighters leading the way. Moments before the Crimm pilots fire, orders come in to hold fire and perform CAP over the Crimm army, which has halted five short miles from the other force, which is equally motionless. Visual ID on the force was made... and the Marines were trying to decide whether it was a trick or reality.
A media crew ws there, broadcasting live to the world what is happening. "A force that is nearly twice the size of the one I am currently embedded with is almost close enough to smell. I... I don't now who they areor where they came from, but their numbers are as shocking as their sudden appearence. Wait... a patrol truck is approaching." Moments pass as the vehicle kicks up a lone trail of dust in the desert, coming to a halt nearby to the crew, who moves toget a clear angle on video and audio. "Let's here what this man, assumedly an officer, has to say."
Faintly, the man is heard over the low rumble of engines. "You are from Crimmond, yes?" After a nod from a Colonel, he continues. "Good. I was hoping that was the case. We have no fight with old allies. I am General Omar... currently the highest ranking officer in the Brotherhood of Nod, until Kane returns to us once more."
The reporter mumbles something about 'winning a prize' for this story.

"Sir?" his second in command Oxanna asked as Slavik choked down a huge swallow.
"WHAT THE HELL?" Slavik shouted, "It's Omar!"
Oxanna: "Omar?"
Slavik:"Omar."
Oxanna:"Oh... Omar."
Slavik: "I must know more."
Oxanna: "Yes sir."
Slavik: "Oh, and if it's really the time for a reunified Brotherhood, check on Project Pandora."

Emperor Kenneth Coleman stood in the Saharan desert not six hours later, wearing military fatigues, as a suit and tie did not suit the conditions well. "General Omar, I was wondering when the Brotherhood would show itself. We're getting reports of your patrols in Giza. I would like those called off, for the moment. No reason to spook the locals, if it can be avoided. Several years ago, Khan Delta annexed these lands, when the Brotherhood of Nod, one of the few remaining other GDODAD powers, ceased to exist. We claimed it first, to protect the lands from those that would not return it to the Brotherhood when the time was right."
Omar nods and starts to speak, but is cut off by Kenneth. "Now is not the right time. I will not cede nearly 1/3 of my Empire to a power hungry general of Nod. Nod generals have been know to ignore Kane's teachings, fight amongst themselves for power and have hurt the Brotherhood instead of helped it. I do not know if you are that kind of General and you would not say if you were. Until Kane sets foot in Cairo and proves who he is, these lands will remain under my rule. Do not worry, General. You will be tasked with garrisoning it. Only you will not torture, kidnap, execute or experiment on any of the population without the express consent of myself. If I hear that you have done so, I will waste no time in wiping the Brotherhood out for good. Your Brotherhood, for now, is allowed to worship and function on it's own. In time, you may well become a political party in the Empire."
Omar looked unhappy to the point of anger, but he supressed teh urge to yell at Coleman. "And what of my army? Do we stay Brotherhood, or do we become Marines in your military?"
"Both. You become Marines in name, but your forces will be your own command, with orders countermandable only by myself and my father, Andrew Coleman IV." Kenneth smiled at the recognition on the General's face. "Yes, General... my father is still very much alive, though in failing health. His mind, though... is the same one that made Kane respect him and not underestimate the Empire. You would be wise to do the same."
"Yes, Emperor."

Omar stepped into his private quarters in Cairo and sighed, sitting down in one of the plush chairs.
"Enjoying yourself, 'Omar'?" A voice said behind him.
Omar sighed again. "I thought you were dead, Kamara." He sounded disappointed, rather than surprised.
The pale woman rounded his chair and stood in front of him. "I'm a very persistant woman. You've always knwon that. Now report, Ronin."
"Go to hell. I'm not Ronin. The Black Staff and the Inquisition is dead. You were very useful to us, but I was never loyal to you. The missions I performed, for the most part, helped the Brotherhood more than it helped you." He said, standing slowly, looking down into her eyes.
"You mean... you really are General Omar?" Kamara seemed surprsied.
Omar smiled and quickly drew a pistol from his coat, aiming at her chest. "Yes. I have served Kane for a very long time, though I rose to the rank of General after his dissappearence. And now I serve the Brotherhood's best interest by finishing what Coleman was unable to do."
She stiffened. "Omar... Surely there must be some way I can be useful to teh Brotherhood alive..." She stepped closer. "To you... ali-." Her voice turned from sultry to a squeak at the gunshot and never looked away from his eyes.
As she fell, Omar shook his head. "You actually thought sex would make me spare you? I'm insulted. You know me better than that." He fired again and spattered the floor with her brain matter. In a matter of moments, Nod soldiers pounded on the door. He stepped over and opened it. "Call services and have this body removed." He turned to his adjunct. "And inform the Emperor that the former High Inquisitor is no longer among us, after a failed attempt to recruit me into her underground organization." The group nodded and moved off.
------
"CITIZENS OF CAIRO!" Omar shouted over teh din, which threatened to drown him out even with loudspeakers. The combined Nod and Imperial flag behind him got them to quiet down. "Thank you. I am General Omar of the Brotherhood of Nod. We are not dead, but are instead... reducing the scope of our objectives for the moment. Until Kane returns, we are integrated into the Intercontinental Empire of Crimmond. Fear not, for you will not be taken from your homes at night anymore, nor will your freedoms be restricted. Peace Through Power has a different meaning now. The Power is of trust, loyalty and love of your government. I do not expect this to happen overnight and I fully expect my soldiers will be met with anger and fear. You are encouraged to shout and yell and tell my men exactly what you think of them without fear of reprisals, but be warned... any person that throws at, shoots at or blows up ANY of my men will be dragged into the center of this city and will be executed for the crime."
A shout from the crowd said something about the UN. "Ha. The United Nations has no say over this matter. The entire African Province is under martial law and has been since it's founding. We will do what we must to maintain peace. If you do not fight us, we will not fight you."
Omar stepped down and got into a truck where a Crimm Colonel was waiting. "Nice speach, Omar."
"They didn't believe one word of it... and rightly so. Many of them supported Kane, bust since he vanished and the Brotherhood seemed to die, they have turned away. They will be brought back into the fold... in time. The less we break our word the better, though."
