OOC: Most Chicago fans probably like my ending for Blackhawk's owner "Dollar Bill" Wirtz.

IC:

Tonight, January 1, 2007 will see the restart of basketball in the IDF colony of Chicago. The city hasn't seen professional basketball since May when the city was liberated from the clutches of the evil dictator Richard M. Daley.

United Center, Chicago, IL

The near west side stadium was filled with a capacity crowd of over 22,000 screaming fans in black and red for the return of their beloved Chicago Bulls. The roster, owenership, and coaching staff all remained the same. That couldn't be said for the NHL's Blackhawks though as owner "Dollar Bill" Wirtz was hung from the roof of the stadium a week after IDF had liberated the city.

Bulls fans were excited to see what was without a doubt the best team on the face of the earth return to action. As gametime approached, the opposing Miami Heat players were announced to loud boos. Coach Riley was named after his 5 starters were announced by PA announcer Ray Clay.

All of the lights including the LED ribbon boards dimmed in the stadium. All attention was to the video board and "Sirius" by the "Alan Parson's Project was played over the speakers. The video showed a herd of bulls running through the streets of the city from the stockyards towards the United Center. As the video played, there was a laser light show. The video culminated the herd reaching the stadium and fireworks were launched from the baseline of the stadium.

Announcer Ray Clay's voice boomed over the speakers as he spoke the words all Bulls fans were waiting for. "And now! The starting line-up for your CHICAGOOOOOO BULLSSSS! At forward from Central Arkansas, 6'7, Scottieeee PIPPEN! A 6'6 forward from Southeast Oklahoma State, Dennis RODMAN! The man in the middle from New Mexico, 7'2, Luuuuuc LONGLEY!!!! A 6'6 guard from Miami Ohio, Ron HARPER! FROM NORTH CAROLINA!!! AT GUARD 6'6, MICHAEL JORDAN!!!! The head coach of the Bulls is Phil Jackson."

Bulls intro from 1997 featuring the line-ups I provided for this team. I guess this is a godmod to RP this team (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYFlzJyxWlw)

The lights were turned back on, but the stadium was still a roar. It was even more of one when Longley got the tip up and got the ball to Pippen.

The Bulls set up. Pippen passed to Rodman who in turn passed it to MJ. Michael Jordan charged the net and actually traveled. As usual, it wasn't called and MJ made a perfect lay-up despite the double coverage on him.

The Bulls were up 2-0. Shaq missed his shot when the Heat had possession. The rebound was made by Dennis Rodman, who was sporting green hair during the game. He passed to Harper who then passed it to Pippen. Pippen missed the three pointer shot. Rodman got another rebound and passed it to Jordan who scored on a fade-away jumper.
