All matches are best-of-7; first one to win four games wins the match.

The two unseeded teams (Potente and East Lithuania) will play a qualification match to see who gets sixth seed. After that is determined, play will be as follows:

#1 and #2 seeds get a first-round bye
#3 seed plays #6 seed in the quarterfinals
#4 seed plays #5 seed in the quarterfinals
Winner of #3 and #6 plays #2 in the semifinals
Winner of #4 and #5 plays #1 in the semifinals
The two semifinal winners will play a match for the championship


No consolation matches will be played--third place will be awarded to the highest seed that loses in the semifinals; fifth place will be the highest seed that loses in the quarterfinals

Winner of the tournament will be offered a chance to serve on the International Baseball World Series Committee, to plan future tournaments. If he declines, then the offer will be made down the rankings.

Role-playing is optional; however, the actual outcome of the games will be done via a purely statistics-based scorinator. You can RP some or all of your games in any given match. For each round, you should get in contact with your opponent to decide whether or not you would like to RP. If he doesn't reply after two days, let me know...if I can't get ahold of him after two more days, he will forfeit and the match will go to you 4 games to 0 regardless of scorinator results.

Where's the scorinator? What is the score between me and my first opponet? Who is my first opponet?

The scorinator is a PHP program with a mySQL backend sitting on my computer.

Well then, by all means, what's the score? ME and BL can't do anything otherwise.

Scores for the quarterfinal round will be provided after the conclusion of the Qualifying Match between Potente and East Lithuania--when that will be depends on whether they decide to roleplay it or not.

I realize that your bracket does not depend upon the outcome of the qualifying match, but this way all the matches in any given round can start at approximately the same time, so all "players" will have an approximately equal amount of "rest" between rounds.
