Akagiyen in search of alliances.

RE: Alliance Groups.
Akagiyen, seeking to extend its influence, has decided it is now time for us to join one of the many alliances in the world, but there are so many and we are generally unsure which is the one for us. We are a Shintoist, Nationalist, Racially Supremacist, and Militaristic State, and we are positive there are groups out there that would have us. Our Navy and Army are sophisticated and modern and the economy is on the rise, with a giant potential for investment.
What's out there for us? If you are part of an alliance, we would look at invitations with interest from all alliances, and if you are a sole do-gooder looking to give us a helping hand then we will gladly take whatever information offered to us.
Official Message from the Czardaian Foreign Ministry
To: Hideki Tojo, Akagi Yen Imperium
Greetings!
The Czardaian Whole Sort of General Mish Mash is quite pleased to witness the emerging of a young nation onto the international stage, that is one who doesn't go declaring war on the world, or the UN, or something within its first few days of independence. While the Akagi Yen Imperium's policies are not exactly compatible with those of Czardas or her allies -- we're looking at the "Racially Supremacist" and "Nationalist" parts, we've got no problems with that for the moment, but we just don't do the same thing -- we would like to recommend that the Imperium stay out of alliances. The current alliance web reminds our historians somewhat of pre-WWI Europe; between massive, influential groups such as the Alliance for Protection of Civilization and Gholgoth, and small clusters of like-minded nations such as the Global Alliance of Sovereign Nations or the Union of Communist Nations, alliance rivalries, enmities, mutual defence pacts, and the like are so complicated we can't keep track of them all. Joining any alliance could easily pit the Imperium against nations that formerly might have helped it, or require that it help other nations through military action it would rather avoid.
However, this is only our opinion, so we wish the Akagi Yen Imperium good fortune in its search, and perhaps at a less turbulent time in Czardaian history we could send diplomats to open formal diplomatic relations. And don't ask me why I'm writing all this in the plural, either.

Seeing your stand, I feel comfortable recommending to you that you consider joining the E.V.I.L Alliance Bloc.
Best wishes with your search.

E.V.I.L. is a backstabbing alliance for dictators. We recommend against it.

OOC: If you didn't read what he wrote, I thought I would quote him for you.
We are a Shintoist, Nationalist, Racially Supremacist, and Militaristic State, and we are positive there are groups out there that would have us.
IC: Laquasa only speaks out against us because his views differ from ours. Seeing as your politics fall in line with ours, and not his, we strongly urge you to disregard his foolish rants.

OOC: IC is just propaganda. Nothing personal.
Hey,
Barto, want to have a war? We're pretty evenly matched.
I could insult your *insert leader name here* and you attack a port or something. Closed, etc. What do you say?

But tinpot dictators would. Which I assume Bart here is, ICly. At least I think?

Well, what if I insulted his family or something?
OOC: How about you all stop hijacking this thread? You can take war planning/endless insults between Laquasa and EVIL to someplace else.
There are countless alliances in this world of ours. EVIL, an alliance of fools and buffoons made greater only in ego by their friends, who spend their time conquering helpless, small nations, only to find themselves deserting each other at the first sign of a true threat. ACTO, an alliance of bigoted nations which feel collectivist economies are the ultimate sign of evil and fight to oppose them at every turn. The UCN, which opposes ACTO and fights for the spread of communism. The GASN, an alliance whose noble goal - mutual defence of signatory nations - has been overlooked numerous times. The Sovereign League, an alliance of democracies supposedly fighting for truth, justice, and Our Way or the Highway. APOC, fighting for 'civilization' - why? For what purpose? Who is attacking it?
Your choices are nearly endless. Choose wisely. This type of decision is not one to be made lightly. Do not rush foolhardily into an alliance without first reading about its past actions. You may find yourself on the receiving end of a feud you do not wish to be a part of.

OFFICIAL DIPLOMATIC COMMUNIQUE
The Imperium welcomes the Akagi Yen Imperium onto the international stage; a new, right-minded nation that is determined to keep its own counsel is good news for the entire world. We strongly recommend that your nation join the Anti-Communist Treaty Organization, ACTO, which has become a major power in the world and the center of the entire anti-Communist crusade. We hope to see you there.

OOC: feel I should say nothing personal, Haraki, just sensed an opportunity for spin :)
Official Communique from the Federation of New Albor High Commission:
To: Haraki and Akagiyen
Re: Haraki
In your previous communique to my government, I disagreed with your comments but did not find them distasteful because you seemed sincere. Now, the Federation knows this not to be the case. What you are doing is wrong and undermines a nation's right to self-determination and you disguise it with a veil of moral superiority that acts as a mere sideshow to your own agenda, forcing others to your own point of view. The nation of Akagiyen has stated its type of government and yet you dismiss their rights by trying to alter their choice. You offered no alternative alliances to the 'bad' alliances you made examples of. A true moralist would have pointed out any of the 'good' alliances you claim to support, or maybe you would have invited the fine nation of Akagiyen to join whatever alliance you deemed morally acceptable.
To wit, the Federation of New Albor finds your remarks made toward our alliance members (whether true or not) reprehensible. The member nations have stood by the Federation of New Albor when other nations dismissed us as an unknown and denied us an embassy. Further, these same nations wish to assit in our economic growth as a smaller nation and have shown no desire to conquer us, though at any turn they could have. And my strongest allies, the Brittanic Commonwealth and Elloris could easily have rendered my nation uninhabitable, yet they did not. The principles of self-determination have guided the Federation of New Albor and you should allow the same rather than preaching a smug sense of moralism at a nation that might not share your views and desires an equaniminty among its peers.
Warmest Regards to you both,
Lord Protector Allen Clements
Foreign Minister

Asgarnieu reccomends the GASN. We are members, and it is truly a noble cause.
If you don't join, we won't be mad, but whatever you do, don't join the CA. They are evil, pure evil.
Thank you.
