The light blue shuttle touched down on the glossy black flooring, the contrasting colour schemes further exaturated the sense that the occupants of the shuttle were not natives of this planet, without further wasting of time the shuttle doors opened, soldiers clad in the navy blue armour of the Kadunese Gorel forces rushed into their given positions, they were followed by 3 men, 2 of which looked almost similar to the Gorellians, barring the lack of helmets and the gloriously adorned medals.

The third man was diminutive in stature to the Gorel escort, despite this he seemed more atuned to the surroundings than the escort, the group of men reached the door at the end of the hanger, the single man was passed over to the next set of escorts who would take him to the Inuagriation, the Gorellians walked back off towards the shuttle, "Kotu Utua Kekutechokueku Nuchichono?" One of the officers said in a slightly disdainful voice, the other simply responded with a light grunt, he couldn't care less about this handing over of power, he decided however that it would be rude not to say anything.

A still quiet hung over the hanger as the two officers made their way back onboard the shuttle, the large opening at the end was suddenly swallowed by a large vessel, the officers stopped their monotenous march up to the shuttle and stood out to watch the other vessel, unlike the Gorel shuttle this vessel was very much native to this world, the officer grabbed his transmitter and held it to his mouth, "Chocha Utua Tokuekuni Nunikatonotekanuku Nuchichono Nuchikuto Totuketukou Ichote Tatotui Nuchichono Chono Kato Kukanonukuni Kuche." All of a sudden the other vessel came to life, the side barriers springing open and the obvious weapons systems activating, the Gorel soldiers drew rifles and pulled back to get a clearer shot, "Chituteko Chachoniku!" One of the officers pleaded, the Gorel forces stayed ready but gave no sign of opening fire.

The quiet returned, only, for it to be suddenly stopped short by the sounds of the now obviously enemy barrage weapons which cut through the hanger, a few futile shots were let out in dispair by the Gorel forces as explosions had sent most to the floor, the roof creaked before giving way and changing the scenery of the hanger to a mess of crumpled girders and swinging cables, one of the officers hid behind a pile of rubble and pulled his intercom once more, "Notutekochokunino!!!" He cried as enemy forces began to arrive, the barrage having now stopped, a rifle butt was held above his nose, "Gorel scum! Tell me where our puppet Governer is!" The officer attempted to crawl back but found himself against a wall, he responded in Kadunese which prompted the rifle butt.

The Kadunese strike cruiser hung in orbit over the planet, resting from having just furiously completed a maintenence drive, it was odd now looking at the previously occupied planet without the presence of two battleships, the withdrawal was almost complete and so the outed cruiser Kuche had been sent to this easy babysitting job, the aged Gorel captain Ketuke had been placed in its leadership, he didn't expect much activity, the planet of Totunichatuteta was probably the most quiet colony of the Commonwealth.

Ketuke had implemented a policy of speaking Totunese whilst in orbit of the planet, this hadn't stopped many from reverting to Kadunese behind his back, he didn't mind much, it was more a formality than anything, he considered this as he watched the planet through the moniter of the bridge, watching with curiosity as several of the planets cities seemed to light up blue, the signature of plasma based weapons, a light went off on his panel, it was the light which had been monitering the signals from the diplomatic shuttle, and now it was gone, he suddenly twigged and stodd out of his seat, "Quickly evasive action, full alert, get a Kadunese Warrior onto the planet!" The crew was a little startled but then when alarms began to ring around the bridge not another order was questioned, the first plasma shot ploughed through the hull of the ship causing all on board to rock.

Sparks came from equipment as another shot smashed across the shields, "Captain! No Kadunese warrior, they're all on the planet." The accent of the statement was awful but the Captain understood anyway and sat in silence contemplating his actions, "Captain, shields are failing, I request we retreat, now! Enemy vessels have been launched and are onroute!" Ketuke sighed with age, he was too old to be commanding a cruiser, "Alright fall back! we retreat to Kakokuni, there are battleships there!" The cruiser turned and fled to Light Travel.

(OOC: Just your bogstandard civil war, but let me explain, the Tutonians have been gunning for independence and have recently been granted semi autonomy, thus enraging independence activists, seeing as how this is an intro I'd rather you didn't nuke me, lastly you don't need to send a message saying you'll be here just turn up, I don't like RPing responses to messages there's only so many ways you can say yes or no, anywho, enjoy!)

Calun swore under his breath as sparks exploded in his face, the aftermath of his unsuccessful attempts to repair one of the broken hyperdrive generators whilst in hyperspace. He ran a dirty cloth across his face, uprouting the perspiration that had made a home. "Chief engineer Calun here," he spoke as he pressed the button on the nearby communications panel.

Captain Hala strode over to the communications terminal and glanced at the live feed of the grubby officer whose dirty overals were in sharb contrast to the prim and proper grey naval uniform worn by the captain. "Go ahead."

"Captain Hala, sir, this thing's gone to shit. We gotta pull out of hyperspace to make the proper repairs."

Hala shook his head and sighed. Simply exiting hyperspace before reaching the destination would screw up the navigation instruments for awhile, but by the time the repairs were made they would have worked out the kink. "Alright." He looked over his shoulder and looked up at the catwalk. "Lieutenant, bring us out of hyperspace."

A brilliant flash brought the Typhoon class destroyer into existance within the system, which was at the moment unrecognised by the nav computers as they attempted to regain their barrings after the dropout. The hulking grey bulk sliding gracefully through the void, a whale moving through the open sea. But it was not alone, for a party of what scans indicated were vessels of war were grouped not far off, and broadcasting loudly to each other something about an incident within another system. Remarkably, the language was picked up by the translators...a dialect recorded a long time ago during the days before the Republic fell into despair for years, only to now be recovering. Peculiar that a mistake would bring the Kadunese and the Republic back into acquaintance.

(OOC: Long time no see Tale, bare in mind i've totally redesigned my nation, so expect much difference between the Kaduna you knew and the Kaduna you see)

The officers of the Kadunese fleet stood watching the holographic sphere resembling the planet Totu, red circles were dotted over the surface representing tactical locations and areas of conflict, to an outsider the officers appeared to be talking jibberish, the thick Kadunese language describing the situation, "Chonu Ichote Nukataku Nutu Tetutoche!" One voice rose above the others, it was that of Commodore Chikaniu, he was in charge of this situation as much as he disliked to admit it.

Quickly typing in a series of keys to the computer he showed the group of tacticians his plan, there were several hundred thousand Gorel warriors still on the planet so bombardment was out of the question, no doubt the Totunese had time to launch a fleet by now so even going into orbit seemed risky, he could wait for reinforcments but at the speed of the Legeslation he would not likely get more forces until the planet was completely out of Kadunese control, instead the plan shown on the sphere above involved just one of the Battleships, it hung there in orbit for a short while whilst Chikaniu explained his plan in Kadunese, he looked up at the officers expecting acceptance of his plan but instead he found his Bridge Officer, she handed over a roll of paper detailing a ship recently out of hyperspace, the scans revealing that the ship was Repbulic in design, immediatly attention was drawn to Captain Ketuke, the oldest in the room and the only veteran of Republic times, he stammered, "Oh no, I'm far too rusty with Republican language!" He stated in Totunese he was far too used to that, "Besides I have to get the strike cruiser back to Kaduna for repairs!" Ketuke stated he really didn't want to stay on that cruiser for much longer, it could barely hold together when docking with the Battleship.

Chikaniu smiled, he had already made adjustments to his plan, "Ketuke, you will make contact with the republican vessel." Chikaniu was shocked with his profficiency over Totunese language, "The two battleships will seperate, this one will go to Totu and make contact with our forces on the planet to hold tight and stop the process of the freedom fighters, the second Battleship will return to Kaduna for reinforcements, Titueku Tuanu!" The various officers and captains broke up and went to their seperate vessels.

Ketuke returned to his cruiser which creaked with damage, it urgently required repairs but it could still perform basic functions such as engines and transmission, the burnt out blue hull of the vessel sparked and smoked as it drifted out towards the Republic ship, Ketuke grabbed the communications microphone and sighed, he dug up Republic words from the back of his mind, "Republic... vessel? Do you require assistence?" He was sure that he had bastardised the whole sentence but he was also sure that it would stand.

(OOC: It's Tal, not Tale, just FYI. And don't worry, I can barely remember the old Kaduna anyways.)

IC:

Hala chuckled as the transmission came through. They had kept their records and could still speak galactic basic, who knew what else they had. He stood there for awhile, formulating the proper response within his mind as the beeps and various other noises of the bridge instruments sounded around him. Opening a channel, he spoke in Taledonian, letting the translator make it Kadunese before reaching the foreign craft that looked badly in need of repair. "It would seem you are the ones who are in need of aid, your ship in particular. This is Captain Veridius Jovus of the Republican destroyer Exar. In the name of the Senate and People of the Republic, we request a full report on the situation."

(OOC: But I've always called you Tale, I'll call you Tal though)

Ketuke pretended not to be insulted, his ship was in disrepair but it could easily be fixed and it was in native space, the Republic ship however was not, putting this fact aside he formulated a response, "Unfortunantly I'm not privy to releasing such information, however, I am allowed to inform you to stay clear of the co-ordinates attached with this message, in the meantime I could place a request for you to drydock with our Spaceport where you can perform repairs." Ketuke put down the comms device, he thought the response sounded somewhat hostile but decided that he had shown enough to stop the Republic vessel from discovering what was going on.

The Exar was in no need of repairs, with the exception of the faulty generator. It could still run, and the thing was almost fixed. It was curious, however, that the Kadunese would send co-ordinants and say stay away from them, as if they wanted intervention. No response was sent back to the Kadunese vessel, instead the destroyer continued to float silently within the void waiting for the repairs to be completed.

Clack

With a simple waft, the pipe in the mouth of the generic rebel was lit up, in just a few successful hours the rebellion already had control over most military functions including a fleet of 12 frigates in orbit, all that remained were small caches of Kadunese forces mostly inexperienced or due to retire, the mainstay of the force had already been withdrawn as terms to the semi autonomy of Totu.

And so, victorious, the soldiers sat in the glorious entrance to the governers palace, smoking over victory, the magnificent architecture of Kaduna was awe inspiring, the light blue ethereal colours drawing the soldiers into a sense of relaxation, the floor drew them towards staring at the thick bolted doors at one end, so sturdy that they could repel any intruder (OOC: plothole) barring themselves of course.

There was a small sound which echoed from the other room, sounds of gunfire which pulled the soldiers to their feet, they needn't have worried, the doors were, as mentioned, sturdy, and the soldiers in the other room were elites, the best of the rebellion, of course arrogance always leads to death, the rebels knew that, it was how they had risen to victory on this world, weapons trained on the door they watched as a series of explosions hit the door causing a rather large rumble each time, eventually, in a shower of sparks, flame, smoke and rubble the doors came slowly crashing down, the soldiers ripped open fire, blue beads of light shot from across the hall trained on the large cloud of dust.

The rubble blew apart and in its wake stood a giant, 10 foot tall clad in blue armour wielding a mighty axe which glowed an ethereal blue and a large cannon slung over shoulder, the soldiers momenterially ceased firing as they watched the enemy soldier, seemingly untouched, he tossed aside the spent cannon and brought his axe upwards into a sweeping motion, the soldiers began firing again as the axe came down upon the crowd picking soldiers up like they were children and ripping them apart, shots smashed across the shielding, with every hit the enemy seemed to glow, piercing through the darkness, soon the rebel soldiers were forced to withdraw, nearly all the men were dead and others remained dying, the Kadunese warrior looked around the hall in proud triumph holding his axe victoriously over his shoulder, placing his axe on the ground he took his arm and opened up the control panel, he pulled across a lever and the box on his back slid off causing a thud nearly as loud as the cannon did when it hit the ground, the box opened and a man, about 6 foot, got out, he looked around, "I'm afraid it cannot be done from here, I need to go to the Governers office." The man stated, he didn't seem the little bit phased about the bloody scene, he did however look tired and war-torn.

The Kadunese warrior knelt down to retrieve his Axe, he got back to his feet and stared at the man, "I am aware of this, however, the doors to the Governers office are far too small for me, you will be going alone for now." There was a sound of soldiers moving to regroup and take on the Giant again, he turned to face the door and grimaced, ready for battle he pulled his axe into an attacking stance and braced his shielding for a barrage, "Go, take one of the rebels weapons!" The man took a plasma rifle from one of the dead and ran upwards to the elevator which had previously been used by the rebels to retreat.

Lifting his right eye lid Calun let a smile of triumph cross his face. No sparks, no burnouts, no noises that shouldn't be being emmited. Fixed. Finally. Now he just had to figure out where his communicator had got too...there it is, no...no that's a wrench...ah. "She's back up and running, sir. Thought my patch up will hold we should have it fixed next time we make it back to port."

A smile, too, formed on the lips of Hala as he nodded to the message. "You heard 'em." He began walking towards the observation window, his polished shoes clacking on the steel of the catwalk. "Use the co-ordinates the Kadunese told us to stay clear of." A chuckle escaped his mouth. He'd probably get yelled at by command for not continueing to Charbdis, and would probably start an intergalatic issue with the Kadunese government, but he was just in one of those "piss you off" moods today.

With a dazzling flash the Exar vanished from sight.
