Earlier today, the United Laquasan Loyalist Party seized control of Royala Isle, shouting their logo, and waving the fascist flag. and declared its independence. In number, their militia totals 400,000. They are, in the least, a very noteworthy enemy, incredibly armed. The Isle has some resources, the population is about 6 million, land area 15,969 Square Miles. Laquasa Is preparing for a full-on strike against them, though some of the Senate simply wishes to let the island go, though the furious Emperor views this otherwise.

"Hmm" Lt. Gen. Forrester, the field commander of the operation replied "Watch them closely."

SIC:

Fifteen fighter squadrons flew over Royala Isle, providing cover for the fifty thousand Prætorian Guards.

They quickly found the leader of the fascist revolution, Primo Garalini.

The Field Marshal spoke to him. "We are not here in support of the Laquasans. They, as you probably now, are a major enemy of ours. Your group seems to embody some of the ideals that the Britannic Commonwealth holds. Ergo, we are here to support you," he said, extending his arm. Garalini took it, and shook it warmly.

"Thank you, comrades from the Commonwealth," the Primo said.

"We will start by building defences for you," stated the Field Marshal. Anti-air batteries were scattered throughout the island, and Czech hedgehogs, caltrops, dragon's teeth, and coastal artillery were built on the beaches en masse. There was a trench built 25 m back on all the beaches, and then barbed wire was rolled out to deny Laquasan access to the beaches. In all the major cities, the sewers were guarded, tanks and the like occupied strategic intersections, and artillery readied itself for war.

OFFICIAL COMMUNIQUÉ, THE GRAND DUCHY OF VAN LUXEMBURG

We condemn the actions took by the fascists on Royala Island, and, although we oppose fascism, we would like to offer peacekeeping forces to maintain peace on Royala Island. Royala Island would need to be governed by a combined Laquasan/Fascist government, to be formed while the Van Luxemburgians, and hopefully some other nations, will keep the peace on the island. We hope this will be a good way to prevent bloodshed on the island.
As we speak, we have a 3,000 men taskforce loading up their weaponry onto aircraft, to prepare for an initial deployment. Heavy weaponry such as MBT's will remain on a base to be set up on Royala Island, while lighter units such as wheeled vehicles and infantry keep the peace. Heavier units will be deployed in times of civil disorder, or attacks on Peacekeeping forces.

The CIC of the command ship Fasltaski was buzzing with activity. Forrester sat at a map of the islands. He studied recon photos of the area and planned his attack. There was 6 Liberty City class battleships at his use with 16.5in guns, and the two carrier would provided support. He asked for the captain of the Fasltaski to come here, "Ok, We will start with the battleships' guns then a cruise missile strike on all targets in the area."

Captain replied,"What about the carriers."

"They will deploy strike aircraft during the strike." Forrester replied.

The captain contacted all the ship to prepare for action.

Republic Fleets

The men wait for the order, then it happens. The voice of Lt. Gen. Forrester is heard over the radios of the ship, "Begin attack". The battleship fire their 16.5in guns at the island, cruise missiles of every kind speed towards target on the island. F-4Ns bombed key locations, Col. Hollister,the field commander of the landing forces, while looking at the blasts on the island says the following, "Hail Caesar, we who are about to die salute you!", it was cry of the Roman gladiators. He was about to lead 15,000 men to battle and it was to show that some may not make it. He boarded the Victory, one of the LHDs and prepared for the landings. Once the bombarment was over, they would land. The 3rd Republic Guard Division, a group of men who swear their loyal to Brydog, and it's people.

The Federation has set up a fund for just such occasions. 1 Billion USD awaits in a bank authorization. Further, a 'rebel' package of arms and equipment will be sent through a variety of channels.

Several Of the missiles got through, and the order came for 2,000 Tomahawk Missiles to be fired at Royala's two major cities. SafeNet over the isle was disabled as hell rained down on the rebels.

"Sir, enemy missiles firing on the rebels."

"Ooh. Extend our ABM programme over the island."

Supercomputer Victoria coordinated the defences. Only sixty missiles would penetrate the network.

As soon as Central Command got the message the fleets were loaded up with troops and supplies.Only a little over 3000 combat troops would be making the first landing but they would be backed up by heavy air support and naval weapons.It would take the fleet a little over two days to reach the island but during this time the island would be hit with various munitions from Frenzia's bombers

As the bombers neared range of their targets they broke formation,heading in different directions to strike individual targets.
They opened their weapons bays each launching 10 AGM-88 missiles.They accelerated heavily and continued on their courses to drop their next munitions.


OOC:I'm giving you the chance to shoot down my aircraft if you can.

It was a warm clear day in Kydonia, the shining capital of West Corinthia. Czar Ptolemy I had been observing a series of events unfolding in the foreign lands of Laquasa Isle. He had been planning to send several large shipments of arms to the fascist rebels on one of the islands, when something caught his eye on the news.

The reporter was standing on a hotel balcony somewhere in Laquasa Isle, and bombs were falling behind him. The reporter mentioned that the planes hailed from Atopiana.

"Atopiana!" the Czar nearly choked on the words as they escaped his mouth. He knew the name well. Atopiana had invaded the empire during it's civil war and committed numerous war atrocities there including killing hundreds of civilians. "Send in the generals!" Czar Ptolemy I gathered himself and rose from his seat as he called his highest-ranking generals into the war room of the Imperial Palace.

"M'lord. What is this about?" one of the 5-star generals began, his numerous ribbons and medals shining despite the darkened red lighting of the war room.

"Atopiana."

The generals suddenly became more alert. "Atopiana?"

"Yes. They are aiding some rebels in Laquasa Isle. I would be helping the rebels, but I cannot side myself with Atopiana."

"Then we must side against them." another general suggested.

"Exactly." the Czar quickly replied. "Except that British Londinium is also aiding the rebels, and they have done no wrongs to us. Therefore, I am sending you into the region against Atopiana, but no one else. The Grand Field Marshal will brief you further, dismissed!" Czar Ptolemy put a map of Laquasa Isle on the projector, and waited for the Grand Field Marshal to address the group.

Message to the Official Government of Laquasa Isle

While we may agree with the rebels in your country on some matters of ideology, we cannot allow ourselves to be on the side of our long-hated enemies, the Atopianans. Therefore, with your permission, we would send a small expeditionary force to your country to counter the Atopianan threat. We have no interest in fighting your rebels for you, nor aiding you in a war against any other recognized country. We would come to settle a score with Atopiana and no one else. Consider this offer wisely.

A further 10,000 Ballistic Missiles were fired at Royala.

OOC: Do you realise how expensive that will be? And the fact that since my satellites are over your nation, the EMP blasts will knock out all of your systems? And I'd need specific numbers of missiles to calculate damages.

OOC: I still have some bases there.

The soldiers already in Royala fired upon the Fascists, and Leopard II tanks bulldozed the rebellion's cities.

OOC: You never RPed having those in the first place. Besides, don't you think the rebels would have already taken those out if the had declared their own independence? Come on, at least give them a fighting chance. And give numbers, for Darwin's sake.

Official Communique to the 6th through 10th Armies of Elloris

Men, this cause is righteous. When we reach the fascist island be on guard and ready we don't know what to expect. We have heard missle spam and we don't know what the casualties at the moment are. General Isaac Poktov will be issuing orders and I expect everyone to help our allies the Londiniums win this war. It also seems that our allies the New Alborians will be helping us.

Remember men, this is not for nothing this is for the protection of a nation's rights, virtue, and honor. May god be with you.

The Elloris' transport ships barely reached the protection of the Londinium ships and Fascist island. No soldiers were lost but their battleship and submarine escorts were mostly destroyed protecting them.

"God damnit, get these men off the boats and get those fucking tanks unloaded we need to get everyone into position to help our Londinium allies." Screamed General Poktov. General Poktov was known for loving the frontlines of battle.

Please direct your troops to reinforce the coastal defences and the key strategic city. We can not let Laquasa gain control of the island. Our ground forces have had to pull out, but we have twelve squadrons of Curiatii fighters circling the island providing air cover, and two attack groups shelling oncoming naval forces.

With that order given the 10 aircraft once again opened their bomb bay doors letting loose 15 GBU-24 C/B each,each bomb was heading for a bunker or defensive position on the west side of the island,this is where Frenzian Commanders had chosen a landing site.It was not over yet however,each bomber also dropped 5 AGM-154A and 5 AGM-154B at any rebel postions on the western beach.They then turned around and accelerated very quickly,they were hoping to make it out without being shot down.


OOC:Since I'm not sure what kind of postions the rebels set up I decided to attack with a bunch of weapons.

One thousand rebel troops died throughout the bombing, since most of the soldiers were in heavily fortified bunkers and pillboxes. Three thousand anti-air missile batteries opened fire on the attacking bombers.

OOC:Ok thank you.I was not sure who was exactly rping the rebel defenses.Also could you please respond to my HARMs that were just launched at your RADAR stations.

As the bombers attempted to flee a SAM missile slammed into a bomber,blowing it to pieces.

''All stations,this is Chalk One,go Alpha.'' (Go alpha means accelerate)

With this command the bombers began to shoot forward,they were designed specifically for outrunning SAM missiles however due to the sheer amount of missiles streaking towards them there was nothing they could do,all bombers were lost.

Central Command got word of the loss and dispatched another 10 bombers.

4 Hours Later

The bombers approached 50 miles out,within range of their targest and the bomb bay doors opened letting loose 50 AGM-136s.These drones would search out ground based RADAR systems and destroy them.Then the bombers dropped a total of 100 AGM-88 HARMs to further aid in the destruction of ground based RADAR systems

(OOC: No-one replying to my first post? Gah. That means I'll have to mount a force to secure at least a beachhead, to get some attention. And you haven't got a map?)

Taskforce Royala, Over the ocean

A small fleet of A400M transport aircraft soared over the deep waters, passing a small amphibious attack force, waving Van Luxemburgian flags. The troops were originally sent to keep the peace on Royala Isle, but High Command in Luxembourg quickly changed the plans, before they were even near the Island. The Amphibious Assault fleet was messaged in a hurry, and asked to rely the message to the transports flying in front of them.

Attention Taskforce Royala, this is Taskforce Beta. Change of Plans, Over.

Change of plans. I hope you got enough parachutes there?

Secure a beachhead. Our troops will be landing in two days, your few hundred men will need to survive for that time.

Aboard the 7 A400M's, there was enough equipment to survive for a few days while under heavy fire, but it was originally intended to supply the first troops for a few weeks, instead of days.

One of the aircrew shouted over the engine roar, trying to wake up the Colonel.

A soldier, already loaded up in gear, handed him his assault rifle and a parachute, so he could ready himself.

Argh, Damnit. They're going to drop us off? Martins said, somewhat agitated.

Yes, sir. You are to secure a beachhead on Royala Isle and secure it for two days, until reinforcements arrive. Eventually, we will need to try and stop the fighting, according to the plans. But that's a secondary objective, first objective is to capture and hold an area on Royala Isle, so reinforcements can arrive. Aftere that, troops can break out, and we can secure larger parts of the island. The soldier read from a laptop computer in from of him.

The tanks and 6th to 10th armies moved out and took position along the beach. Pillboxes and trenches were being occupied and built.

Fire from trenches and pillboxes immediately began on the Van Luxemburg stronghold.

"Remember men, the Ellorisians are the first line of defense here we will not move no matter how many men we are put up against." screamed Gen. Isaac Poktov.

At that moment, the Elloris planes took off and began to circle the Elloris strongholds patrolling.

The first Corinthian soldiers were boarding the transport planes. The Kydonia military airfields were buzzing with activity as the sun's first rays crept over the distant mountain peaks. General Herakles observed the deployment from a nearby control tower.

Turning to an aide of his, the General said, "Once we're airborne we'll need to make contact with some of the foreign nations already with a foothold on Royala Isle. We need a safe LZ and a good spot to build an airfield. When we drop the troops, they'll have to secure an area for our command center. Brief the commanding officers."

The aide saluted General Herakles and headed for the stairs of the control tower.

The operation was beginning.

Within two hours all the transport planes were airborne, carrying 5,000 Corinthian soldiers and some light armored vehicles over the open ocean. They would be nearing Royala in a little over three hours.

Several of the transports' fighter escort flew ahead to make radio contact with any foreign forces on Royala Isle. "Corinthian fighters to anyone on Royala Isle, over. Please respond." The pilot who had sent the message waited a moment for a response, ready to transmit the message again if needed.

Each bomber shot through the sky,back towards Frenzia.

With air defenses thought to be suppressed the Frenzian Air Force decided to send another sortie of bombers.

10 FB-04 Hurricanes,10-FB 05 Sonics,30 F-22 Raptors and took off from an airfield in Frenzia.There orders were to hit pre selected targets and destroy any remaining air defenses for the invasion forces.During the trip to Royale Island the F-22s were refueled twice.

6 Hours Later

The FB-04 Hurricanes were significantly bigger and slower than the Sonics so it took much longer for them to arrive.

At 50 miles out 3 of the Sonics launched 25 AGM-136 Tacit Rainbows each.The drones would search out any remaining RADAR stations,even if they had recently been shut off to avoid detection.The rest of the aircraft flew closer to the island to get in range of their weapons.

BL has to give up his military, as I understand his surrender conditions.

450 Miles from Royala Isle

The Parthian fleet continued on course, noticing, while some of the fleets and forces had exited the area or were quickly leaving, one had not only remained, but had continued further attacks on the Fascists.

"Most problematic," said Lord-Admiral Golzari as he continued to smoke cigarette after cigarette, a clear characteristic of his nervousness. "Well then, perhaps we shall continue into 250 miles, then we shall put up the planes, and deliver death to the Anti-Fascists? Missiles shall blot out the skies, flames will engulf the seas as vessels and planes are torn apart as missiles rain upon them, death shall fly on swift wings, annhiliating the leftists, giving sacrifice unto Ahura Mazda by killing the followers of the Lie."

The ACI-73 lined itself up on the catapault, locking its front wheel into position, before flying off at a rapid speed, rocketing off from the deck over the ocean, followed by another, and another, more from other carriers following them, creating several deltas in the sky, triangular formations, 10 in number, each of 9 planes, flying towards the Frenzians, selecting the long range AAMs as they closed, passing the 250 mile point within minutes, approaching the point where their missiles would be effective enough to prevent the planes from simply exiting their engagement envelope.

As they approached this 180 mile point, the Parthian lead, Capitan Bijan Taheri left out a single radio broadcast. "The Fascist Government has been officially recognized by his Imperial Majesty Shah Khosru III. If the anti-Fascist aircraft refuse to move out, we will begin engagement. This is one final warning, you have two minutes to set a course away from Royala."

A message was sent back to the enemy aircraft.

''We have dropped our munitions,I just hope you guys are not the ones who have to clean up the mess we left behind.''

The pilot laughed as he gave the order and the aircraft moved into a defensive position.bombers on the inside,fighters on the outside,top and bottom.To be truthful,the bombers still had many weapons left.The pilot radioed back to his commanders and the aircraft were ordered to continue on course.

(OOC: *cough* I haven't paradropped yet. *cough* I gave people the chance to intercept the transports and force them to turn around, but since nobody has done it, I'll just go on with the landing.)

Taskforce Royala, Near Royala Island

Several soldiers stood in the loading space of the first transport aircraft, fully loaded up for a paradrop. Colonel Martins was preparing for a small speech.

Okay Lads, This will be it. In a few minutes, you will be landing in territory, possibly enemy or friendly. Avoid friendly fire, and try not to have an IFV land on top of your head.

Guys, We're the first to land here. But we're Mariniers. We're not exactly the Reebouwuecht, But it'll have to do. Check your weapons, and wait for the green light.

All soldiers checked their rifles, and crammed a magazine into the weapon, before hooking their parachutes up to the aircraft.

GREEN! GO!

The green light flickered on, and the soldiers jumped out in an orderly line, their parachutes immediately deploying, as it had been triggered by the jump.
The aircraft flew rather low, and only just high enough to allow the troops to jump out. This allowed the soldiers to land just before the two IFV's slammed into the ground, followed by their crews, who quickly removed the parachutes and got in, starting the engines. The lights were toned down, since the troops had to stay covert for as logn as possible. They used the beach to dig in, and also covered the IFV's in a heap of sand and bushes, blending it with it's surroundings. The troops had orders to hold fire unless fired upon, and had completely dug in and hidden themselves. The only thing that bow showed the presence of the troops, were the strange shapes in the sand, and the somewhat out-of-place sandheaps, which also could've been caused by the wind. It was now waiting for the reinforcements, which would arrive in around 2 days.

President Benjamin Tow had a difficult decision. To support support the rebels would violate the nations principle of an armed neutrality, but to ignore their crys for freedom would be not be supported by the Fascist party of his citizens.

I would like to offer the support of 300,000 of my finest volunteer soldiers in defending the peoples of Royala Isle. I will arm them to the teeth, however, I cannot spare the ships necessary to land them myself.

The lead Corsair of the Corinthian fighter escort began picking up a Parthian radio broadcast. "Shit, they sound serious." the pilot radioed back to the troop transport planes.

"Well, let's make our intentions clear to them, then." the Commander of the Air Group replied over the same channel. "Sit tight out there, for now."

The Commander switched to an open channel on a longer-range radio and began to broadcast a message back to the Parthians:

Parthian forces, this is Commander Nikolai of the Corinthian Royal Air Force. West Corinthia also recognizes the sovereignty of the Fascists on Royala Isle. We shall not be interfering with them in any way. Please copy, over.

The transports were now nearing Royala Isle. Unless the situation changed, they would be dropping onto the island soon.

Transmission to the Laquasa Isle Government:

The Kingdom of Fornelia wishes to see this conflict resolved. We do not appreciate fascism in any form, but we also recognize that the Rebels originally had the right to seek peaceful seperation, which they gave up upon commiting violent acts. As such, while we are smaller than most nations, we would like to offer our assistance. If we could be brought up to date about the situation, and told what the best way to assist would be, we are more than willing to do it.

The ABM network only let one enemy missile through; the rest were destroyed. The one missile took out a Fascist RADAR station. Luckily they had the aid of the Britannic Commonwealth.

Frenzian Commanders had reviewed their strikes.Only one RADAR station had been destroyed and the landing fleet would be arriving in a little over a day.The other problem was their was enemy aircraft now operating in the area so it was unsafe just to fly their bombers in.

From airbases in Frenzia,6 sorties of aircraft would be leaving and would attack the island one after another.

The first sortie composed of 3 B-2 Bombers which had been spree out along the western coast of the island.The bombers were flying very low to the ocean,just high enouth to not allow the waves to crash against the aircraft,They were hoping to make their strike undetected.The first bomber weapons bays opened at 100 km away from the island.8 TASSAMs left one bombers weapons bay.These bombs were heading for coastal defenses such as bunkers and artillery.Because of their low observable technology it was hoped these bombs wouldn't be shot down.This bomber then turned around and headed back while the other two bombers continued to approach the island.

OOC: They're my nation's, and they use satellites, RADAR in my nation, and RADAR in Royala Isle.

Eight RAC Curiatii fighters broke off from their patrol paths to intercept the B2 bombers, firing missiles and machine gunning them.

On the ground, three bunkers were taken out, and Royal Engineers hastily repaired them, though the construction would be so fast it would be shoddy.

The Prætorian Guard troops, which were preparing to leave Royala Isle, stopped, and took defensive positions.

"Yes sir, and what about the paratroopers that have already landed?"

"Order the 3rd army to break ranks from the beach head wheel around and attack the paratroopers that have landed behind our lines. The third army is only support for our beach defenses so they shouldn't be to much of a loss."

"Yes sir, right away sir."

Missle spam had been seen all day flying over the Elloris soldiers and being destroyed by the British Londiniums. Most of the soldiers were ready for action.

Pillboxes, trenches, and beach defenses had all been built before any anti-fascist forces could attack the beach. The nation of Elloris had made it obvious that they would not allow the beach to be seized easily. Armor was also at the beach to support the infantry.

I am sorry to inform you General that I cannot send AA guns to help you to defend the beach. Due to the fighting in our recent civil war we cannot afford to sacrifice any more equipment or men.

The Fornelian Carrier Fleet would like to know where they should apply their forces. We are asking so that the best possible strategy is used during the operation.

(OOC: Elloris, My main Amphibious troops will land in 2 days. The area they will use to land on has been secured by around 350 Paratroopers (well, they're more Special Forces, actually) and 2 SPz-9 Wildkätze IFV's. (If you need to have specifications on that one, use the VDZ & VL storefront link in my signature). They have completely camouflaged themselves, and should be hard to spot. They also have orders not to return fire unless fired upon, so they won't be giving away their positions first. As they actually are there on a sort of peacekeeping mission, they will remain friendly (but still somewhat suspicious) to you, until someone opens fire or is hostile. Basically, they will return fire to anyone shooting at them, and nothing else. Hope that's cleared it up for a bit.)

10,000 Tomahawks pounded the beaches. Another 3,000 ASAT Missiles pounded the Victoria computer over Royale, and another 4,000 EMPs- 2,000 to the Londinian Homeland and the rest to Royala. The fleet prepared to land...

OOC: Ok, Van Luxemburg that makes sense than yea your paratroopers have a stronghold on the beach that my men haven't seen and haven't noticed yet. So I never opened fire on anyone and my 3rd army is going to stay in place.

The men held strong as missles from Laquasa Isle pounded the beach most being destroyed by British Londinium a total of about 150 men were lost.

Just as the men began to look over the horizon and their eyes opened from all the smoke from the missles a horrible sight appeared before them. Laquasa Isle flags could be seen along the horizon of the ocean battleships, transport ships a huge fleet.

"Um...sir?"

"Yes soldier," replied his Sergeant.

"I think were going to need more men."

An alarm sounded on the airfield nearby. All Elloris' pilots airbound now. This is not a drill.

"Ok pilots," said Lt. Henry Lee. "We need to get rid of as many of those transports as we can so target the transports and watch your ass there could be enemy fighters. Remember were tiger fighters we're not going down without one hell of a fight."

The RAC Curiatii planes took off and began strafing the enemy ships. At that moment Elloris armor and artillery on the beach began to open fire as a hail of lead pounded the enemy ships.

We know that recently you have pulled out the 1st through 5th armies from the Mandrivian war I ask that you send them here. The Corinthian air group crossed over the easternmost beaches of Royala Isle. A red light appeared in each troop transport as they neared the drop zone. A brief spout of turbulence only heightened the paratroopers' growing anxiety. Even as the planes rattled from the turbulence, the squad leaders were briefing their men. Soon the soldiers were ordered to hook onto the drop line, and the transports' doors were opened to whipping winds outside.

"When you hit the ground, regroup immediately." one commander informed his men. "Then we'll secure a perimeter for the base. The fighters will cover you for as long as they can, then you're on your own until more reinforcements arrive."

About ten miles inland from the eastern beach the red lights switched to green. 5,000 tiny silhouettes appeared against the horizon, dropping quickly into the fields beneath them. Meanwhile, the fighter escort remained overhead, still trying to make contact with any foreign forces.

As the bombers attempted to flee they were hit by the air to air missiles and machine gun fire.Each bomber was blown apart and sent crashing into the ocean.The air assault however was not over,5 more sorties of bombers would be coming.

The lead bomber in the 5 group of FB-04 Hurricanes got a message from Frenzian Central Command stating that the B-2s had been shot down and to procede with caution.

As the bombers came into range,the second bomber in the diamond formation opened its weapons bays letting loose 100 Tacit Rainbows which would be once again attempting hit remaining RADAR stations on Royale Island.The bombers continued on course fro the island.At the 20 km mark the third bomber in the diamond formation opened its weapons bay letting loose 50 GBU-24 E/Bs.These bombs had the GPS coodinates of various bunkers,and beach obsticals along the western coast.The bombers continued on course but split up so they could cover a broader aera of the western coast.At 10 km out the fourth bomber in the formation opened up its weapons bays letting loose 25 GBU-28 Bunker Busters.These bombs had been sent on course by laser guidance and would hit various bunkers and artillery/AA/SAM/Coastal gun emplacements.Finally the bombers flew almost directly over an area of beach held by rebels and the first and last bombers opened there weapons bays letting loose 50 CBU-87/B Combined Effects Munitions each.These cluster bombs would land on the beaches and take out men and machines and possibly damage trenches and bunkers.The bombers than turned and headed back to base.


The invasion fleet moved ahead to the island as fast as it could,it would be in range of the island in a little over 12 hours.

Earlier today, the Imperial Senate recognized the Royalian Confederacy's independence.

The small island Confederacy has renamed itself "Royalica". "Primo" Garilini is in supreme control.

With the island granted sovereignty, and no Atopianan presence detected, the Corinthian soldiers hopped back on their transports and headed home.

As the task force sped towards the island the radio man abord the flagship recived a message.

CENCOM knew there was nothing they could do.As for the men they lost,British Londium got what was coming.
