7:15pm, The Presidential Palace in Lanford
The small republic of Lanford was beginning to rest its eyes, when a blast rocked the palace. A bomb went off near the president’s office, the president was injured in the blast, but half of the house was destroyed in the blast. Lucky, his family was out at the time. Reports came in from everywhere. The small republic was awoken by a hidden terror.
“Freedom” cried a group of people in one of the immigrant sections of the capital. The people were immigrants from the nearby nation of Trasliva. Trasliva was under a dictatorship led by a man known as Leader. These immigrants were carrying out the dream of a Greater Trasliva. The nations of Lanford and Trasliva made up the Philip Islands. One of the Traslivans was one that set bomb and was the leader, he began to speak.
“Today, we began Leader’s dream of controlling the islands.” he said with vigor “This nation is a weakling compare to Leader’s forces.” The crowd cheered.
They began to call themselves the Traslivan Liberation Army, and declared the government of Lanford must surrender to Leader.
7:20pm, Liberty City, Brydog
President Faltaski was awoken by a call. “Hello” he answered in a sleepy voice.
A stern voice delivered the news, “There has been a bombing in Lanford.” The voice continued “The Presidential Palace in Philipsburg was hit, Pres. Hollister was wounded.”
Faltaski replied “Who was responsible.” He asked in a shocked voice.
“A rouge element in the nation.” The voice replied to the president’s question. “It’s called the Traslivan Liberation Army; they want to carry out Leader’s plans.”
He gave a clear order, “Tell the staff to assemble at once.”
The Republic Defense Staff met during attacks on Brydog or her allies, Lanford was one of her allies. “Ok, Ladies and Gentlemen” the president spoke to the staff “Mr. Hollister has asked for support against the TLA.” The staff talked among themselves until Faltaski spoke again “We are to prevent the coup from happen in Lanford. We may have to invade Trasliva if necessary.” Then a messenger delivered the news, the TLA announced it will seize the island for Leader. A time began, The Leader’s so call dream was about to end.
