Similar to a Presidential Republic. Ruled by an Imperial Senate (democratic) and an Emperor (hereditary) Each of the 100 Laquasan provinces has 1 representative, elected via majority rules, every 4th year. Citizens propose laws in petition form, along with 300 signatures. The law is approved by council with a 51/100 vote. The Emperor can pass, and it will come into law the coming January 1st of the next year. If he vetos, it can still be passed with a 3/4 vote. The Emperor can declare war on his own. The Imperial Senate- and the Emperor's powers are drawn out in the constitution, see below. Three branches- Judicial, Imperial, Senetorial. *Semi* Democratic, but acts as an Empire, expanding, annexing, etc.

Economy: Highly developed. Families enjoy average salaries of 40,000 USD annually, the average home size is 2900 square feet. Many Industries, the only thing Laquasans must import is elctronic things, and cars.

Laquasa is about 1/2 Temperate Forest, especially to the north. The Southwest is mostly desert because of prevailing winds. All of the Laqian Empire's islands are either Savanna or Rainforest, and this is where most naval bases and oil is found.
