((OOC:Hokai, so I used to go on this a bit, but then I was inactive for a long time, so my nation was buhleted. But anyways, on with the introduction/land grab. Just saying, but the map sucks because I'm using a touchpad.
Oh, and if I commit any wanks tell me.))
There ws once a nation called Kubra, it ws never a big nor important country. One day it simply fell of the world stage, forgotten by all. Nothing came in or out of the country, nobody really knew what went on in the country. That's how things were.....
The calm sea was disturbed as towering metal ships pierced a path through the water, pressing onward. The ships were coated in dirt and blackened by fire. Holes were closed with tin or alluminum welded or even duct taped on. There was a wide variety of ships, from Frigates to oil tankers, even rickedy row boats tied to other ships with frayed rope. This was all that was left of the former nation of Kubra, a ragtag bunch of sallow looking people, unwilling to talk. Their jorney from the old mainland had been long, their supplies were nearly running out. People were losing the last bit of hope they had.
But then, on the horizon, there was land. Land meant food, water, and resources. The ships went top speed towards it, only to hit the shallows. In desperatio, the frayed ropes were cut and the various rowboats, canoes, and even a military patrol boat raced to land, as well as ferrying the people and supplies to the new land. The people who had reached the beach were grabbing guns and going forward to hunt in order to get food for everyone to eat. This was to be their new home.
However, from the shadows, men emerged. They held muskets which had axe heads or long blades attached to them. They wore ponchos adorned with strange paterns, as well as gold. They wore short kakhi pants that looked to be made of cotton. They tried to speak to the unhealthy newcomers, but nobody understood their language. The people were shocked to see them, some were pointing their guns. However, one man stepped forwards and spoke their language. He and the men engaged in conversation. When it was over, the man explained himself.
"They speak old Kubran", he replied. "We could be related, or this is just a very, very unlikely fluke. However, I have told them our story and they have agreed not to speak of it. This man is chief of his people, he has given us permission to stay in this land".
In normal circumstances one would be greedy and just take the land without permission. However, the Kubrans, who were starved and desperate, were overjoyed, yet they did not celebrate, as that would drain them of all the energy they had left. Instead they worked. They worked for the whole day and the whole night, trying to create a place in which they could call home.
((OOC: Most of my population is the indian population. I would say about 500,000 Kubrans managed to reach the new land. But anyways, since communications haven't been opened yet, so if you want to grab some land now I guess RP accidentally discovering the new land. Also, to clarify somthing, Kubra was an english speaking nation, as it had been for centuries. It had stopped using Kubran a long time ago. If anything else needs to be clarified or added just tell me.))
