War on Terror-Started in 2001 by President George W. Bush of the United States of America, after the September 11th terrorist attacks. Now, the "war" rages around the world, with major conflicts including the American-led Iraq war and the NATO War in Afghanistan. Many nations are combating terrorists in their countries in their own ways. This "war" is spread across all the continents and in every democratic nation. Only through cooperation will the world be a safer place.

Under suggestions of his commanders and new Secretary of Defense, President Bush is moving to put more pressure on Iraqi military units to force them into combat. They will be assigned to more regions outside of the triangle of death. Also, with many units being comprised of men from the same village,town, religion, etc, these units will be sent to their home towns, or fellow religious areas. The soldiers will join police in searching for terrorists and other rogue militant groups. American units will be redeployed in a similar way. Air support will be stressed again, with some American units being pulled off the street and becoming fast-reaction forces. The President has, given this strong reply "It is time for Iraq to pull itself up, we cannot keep holding them by ourselves.

Many feel that the coalition is falling apart. The Italian forces in the region are considering pulling out in a year, along with a sizable part of the British military. Analysts state that the US must find a way to settle Iraq before they are the only ones left.

The combat in the southern provinces, involving the US,UK,Canada and Netherlands against Al-Qaeda and the Taliban is heating up. NATO is being requested to send more troops, and it is possible Germany, France, Poland, and Spain may send more troops, along with other nations. Many see this though as an easy way out. Some nations fighting, while other units, such as French and German forces, sit in the north, with little combat while Anglo-Dutch forces fight every day. It is difficult to get such nations to deploy down to the south, but the President has stated he plans to speak with the German Chancellor and French President on this issue, while the Americans in NATO attempt to talk to the representatives there.

American forces, in conjunction with allies, have noted that they have been on the defensive for too long...
