In a shock movement earlier this morning KNY, a subsidiary of the Imperial Shipwrighters Protected Trading Corporation, announced a sudden shutdown of any future export of battleships and aircraft carriers. Chairman of Kure Naval Yards, Izumo Yamashita, spoke at a press conference today on the matter.

"With dropping sales... a disinterest in the Questarian Naval Industry... and a depression in the era of the Questarian naval export, KNY has only kept in export business thanks to various long lasting production orders and domestic rights... as of this moment onwards, Kure Naval Yards ceases to function as a retailer of battleships, battlecruisers and aircraft carriers. We do however, have a lineup of smaller vessels that will soon be released for export. Thank you."

We at the International and Undersea Salvage and Recycling Cooperative would be interested in purchasing excess scrap and salvage from your closing naval yards. We would also be willing to offer you facilities for recycling and dismantling old naval ships into scrap. We can recycle capital ships and have been extensively involved in the recycling, dismantling, and recovery of naval ships for quite some time. We can also offer conversion services for smaller naval ships into commercial vessels-- for fishing, salvage, sea rescue, and commercial transport.

Regards,

Malthus Cruonis, NCEO International and Undersea Salvage and Recycling Cooperative.

OOC: The company has been around from about 1932-- until FT. In its first incorporation it is the International and Undersea Salvage and Recycling Cooperative.

All excess scrap will be kept and recycled for further construction; besides, KNY still has Internal orders from the Imperial Navy. It is just export that KNY is closing its doors to.
