Environmental Technologies purchase

Official Dominion of Mandrivia Communique
To: Nations of the world

So far, the neation of Mandrivia has spent very little on the enviornment. Infact, one of the only things being done is that the Nuclear energy sector is large, but that comes at the expense of our nation's large and great forests, since most of the uranium is found there. Since not much is being done for the environment, we have too much smog in our cities, and our ground and water are being poisoned. We also happen to be heavily reliant on oil, and that is nobody wins there. (except for rich fatcats such as myself) We must also keep up with the UN policy of polution and alternative energy We also have a surplus of some Breens (cash. 1 Breen=2.47$ RL American) floating around. Thus, we would like to purchase the following:

-Imports of SmartCars and Electric Cars
-Blueprints for Hydro Extraction Plants
-Blueprints for energy efficient buildings
-Blueprints for paper, plastic and battery recycling facilities
-Imports of Wind Turbines and solar panels (we have the infrastructure for processing that electricity)

Our goals:
-reduce harmful toxic emissions into the air by 20% over the next 15 years
-Bump use of alternative energy up to 30% of total energy used over the next 20 years
-Have Electric/Smartcars in use by 27% of the population in the growing years
If these standards are met well in their timeline, they will be adjusted to further protect enviornment. (ie reduce harmful toxic emissions even more.)

Signed,
Legate Chris Somerville, President-General of Mandrivia
Foreign Affairs Minister Sashayar Akira
Sub-Glinn Morely Kemp, senior chief statesman

The Britannic Commonwealth is willing to export two million SmartCars to Mandrivia, in addition to granting blueprints for solar-energy generators.

The Republic of Green Britannia is eager to expand its reserves of foreign capital and will gladly provide state of the art high efficiency Britannian Wind and Solar collectors at below the market rate of exchange (approximately 2 million Breen per collector) on the understanding that 50% of profits garnered from the sale of the cheap energy be funded back to the Britannian state.

Essentially, we wish to invest an equal partnership stake in the future of Mandrivian wind and solar.

We are willing to provide the following.

Wind turbines in the range of 1 MW (Onshore) and 1.5 MW (Offshore)

A variety of solar technology-- Solar panels, Solar glass panels, and Solar concentrators.

Distributed hydroelectric turbines-- these are smaller than hydroelectric dams and are distributed over the length of a river, the blades are designed to be fish safe.

We can provide recycling facilities that can process landfills and garbage: The landfill recycling plants will convert landfill into methanol and plastics.

We have some industrial capacity that may help further:

Hybrid biofuel cars, boats, and trains-- these are a mixed electric and biofuel transportation.

Biorefineries: Corn, kelp, soy, or other biomass feedstocks, these provide ethanol and other biofuels, biopolymers and bioplastics, safe industrial chemicals, vitamins, and animal feedstocks. They are an analog to an oil refinery.

Hyper energy buildings, these have solar panels and wind generators built into the facade, during the nighttime, the energy from the solar and wind is run through a regenerative methanol fuel cell for storage and use.

Bioshelter sewage facilities-- These are ecologies designed to process human and animal waste into methanol and fertilizer.

Vertical Farms: This is an indoor organic farm built inside a hyper energy efficient skyscraper building that provides a variety of hydroponic and soilbed farms. It is designed for use in urban centers.

Further recent developments have allowed us to develop plants for industrial bioremediation-- a grass that is engineered from duckweed, bacteria, and some small bushes which remove hazardous chemicals from groundwater, and soil.

We are willing to sell these,

Regards,

I'm going to double post here a little, I hope you all don't mind.

The Britannic Commonwealth is willing to export two million SmartCars to Mandrivia, in addition to granting blueprints for solar-energy generators.

Mandrivia will buy 1.4 million smartcars at 9000 Breen/car (negotiable)

We will also buy the blueprints for a couple thousand.

We would like to buy 900 solar panels, and offshore and onshroe wind turbines, 40 for each.

For a reasonable price, we shall also buy recyclying and waste management facilites.

Lastly, Mandrivia wishes to buy blueprints for Bioshelter sewege facilities.

We are willing to sell the 1.5 mw wind turbines for 1 million each, our mass production has cut the the price from $1.5 million each for a total of 40 onshore and 40 offshore-- $80 million.

For both wind and solar we have managed to reduce the cost to $1 per watt for wind, and $2 per watt for solar. For 900 2KW solar panels, it would be $3.6 million dollars. We use a thin film solar power cell.

We can sell waste management facilities for $10 million each -- 10 to start would be $100 million.

We will recycling plants which include shredders, crushers, separators, sorters, and grinders for metals as well as organics and plastics for $20 million each-- 10 plants each. $200 million

The bioshelter sewage treatment plants cost about $10 million each to build. For $100 million dollars we will sell you the designs and production rights.

The total cost would be $483.6 million dollars.

OOC: GE wind power generators cost 1.5 million each, Normally solar power runs about $5 watt, with thin film technology, it promises to run about 50 cents to $2.00 per watt.

The Federation of Dosuun is willing to construct several Soong-Type Agricultural Greenhouses.

These facilities are composed of a single power plant and between 2 and 6 hydroponic buildings that can vary in height from 4 to 10 stories. The power facilities run sea water through boiler heated by coal or other combustables for power and fresh water. The emissions are run through several scrubbers to extract various impurities in the form of a solid paste or powder form for sale, such as sulfates sold to chemical companies as gypsum. The CO2 is fed into the hydroponic bays to increase the concentration to between 700 ppmv and 1000ppmv which in turn increases crop yeilds by up to 15%. Corn can be used for ethanol fuel and soy can be used for biodiesel. The facilities emit nothing, can be totally automated, require no pesticides, and can produce food, power, fresh water, salt, and numerous other products.

We look forward to further efforts to bring our nations closer.
