Outside the Capital of Trensk, thousands of workers struggled to build a Factory that would produce Machines for the people, steel was placed carefully to support the structure, it was almost finished, but unknown to even the workers, underneath the building another project was taking place, using the 'Factory' as a cover, the Trenskian Military had large units of Troops and Engineers building a underground Research and Development Facility, devoted to the study of Viral Weapons and how to counteract them, the project had been Codenamed 'Umbrella', most likely named by a Resident Evil fan, it was massive, extending downwards up to 5 Kilometers, and extended from the Factory to the center of the Capital 3 Km away, the Factory was the 'Enterance' to the facility beneath the city, one of 3 to be precise, one in the City, one in the Factory and one in a Trenskian Army Base to the north.

The R&D Facility was massive, it's core containing 30 Labs and surrounded by Living Quarters, Recreation Centers, a Shooting Range, a Swimming Pool, Kitchens and Security Posts, a small Warehouse was also located that contained vital supplies for the base, it could house 200 Non-Military Personell as well as 300 Trenskian R&D Troops.

The Facility was 99% Complete, only the lowest level which contained a large Tank of Water with several Sharks for study was incomplete, it was known by the Scientists and other workers as 'The Dungeon' due the the low-intensity lighting temporarily in the area.

It was headed by a specific Dr. Tiburk, a expert in Biology and Marine Biology, a stern man who demanded the best from his people and quite clever, he is usually not trusted due to his crafty nature and has been informed several times by his supperior Commander Kirsken that insubordination would not be tolorated...Tiburk naturally ignored him and recently started conducted unauthorized experiments on Human Subjects without the Commander's knowledge...

The King had authorized the construction of the facility, but had been misinformed as to it's purpose, the Military said it was to research other forms of weaponry and also was a special Medical Facility as well specificly aimed towards the Military...

Thus the King was left in the dark while his General's and Commander's worked on the wrong path, although their intentions where good in keeping Trensk safe, they where...unguided in how they carried this out...

DR's On Duty: Dr. Tiburk, Dr. Ria (Human Biologist) Medical Tech Ira Taimiel...

Dr. Tiburk growled softly as he stood over the cadaver lying infront of him on the cold steel table, another stood across from him with a small green vial of murky liquid, concentrated Virus, codenamed 'Twilight', it attacks the body cells and starts the Decomposition process before subject's death, it also attacked the higher brain functions, leaving only the primal instincts available to the subject, such as walking and eating...Basicly in non-scientific terms, a Zombie, Tiburk was a 33 Year old Male, approxamitly 6 ft in height and weighing 199 lb, he had black hair and brown eyes that seemed to peirce into the other man's soul, Adams Ria was a younger man, 23 years of age, 5.11 ft, 187 lb, blonde hair and light blue eyes, he was quite intelligent and eager to learn from his mentor, Tiburk.

Tiburk nodded as the other man started to inject the virus sample into the body infront of them, a 27 year old man who had died in a Car Accident 2 days ago, Tiburk was hoping that the Twilight Virus would be strong enough to 'ressurect' the specimen, he had a theory that when used on a dead subject it would force the body to send a electical signal to the brain and 'reactivate' it...With further development they would be able to raise the dead without it's...other effects...

Ria was nervous, yet his hands did not shake dispite this, he felt nervous due to his mentor watching him like a hawk, as if waiting for him to make a mistake, as it finished injecting he sighed and took the needle with the now empty vial out of the dead corpse's arm and stood back, putting the syringe onto a small table and looking outside, the hallways reminded him of the halls of a Military base, metal floor and concrete walls, dim lighting...The lab they where in had large windows extending from the ceiling to the floor, but it was reinforced glass and the door was metal surrounded by a steel frame, a keypad was mounted right by the door as well as a Retinal Scanner, they where the first facility to have a Retinal Scanner...Tiburk nodded to him and walked out of the room, but not before taking a vial of Twilight from the freezer, he had seen the body twitch and wanted to leave just incase it got violent

Ria was so caught up in his thoughts he did not notice him leave, or the body moving, it slowly rose and got off the table, the body began to slowly decompose as it moved, blood covered the formerly white shirt and it had blue jeans on, it's eyes where whited over and slowly began to limp/walk towards the unsuspecting Ria, Ria sighed and when he turned around he was face-to-face with the newly risen man, he screamed just as the creature leapt at him and bit into his neck, spreading it's virus and killing the other man...The Tech who was working at the back came running and his eyes widened as he saw the sight, for on the ground was Dr. Ria and the 'Zombie' was chewing on the man's neck, blood pooled around them and Ria was twitching slightly, his eyes had been widened in fear before his death, Ira in a panic ran for the exit but tripped over a small table with 3 vials of the Virus Agent within it, making them smash on the floor and it quickly spread to the other man, Ira's face contorted in pain as he fell to the ground, clutching his head and screaming as the Virus invaded his system ,what Viral agent that did not enter him spread throughout the facility through the Air-Vents...Within an Hour the base had gone silent and the doors to the enterances where sealed by a final Computer command from Dr.Tiburk who had managed to get a Bio-hazard Suit on and avoid the contaminant, he sealed himself in the Control room near the very core of the facility...Collecting Data from the security camera's and enviromental Systems readouts...He knew that this would happen...He also sent a 'message' to the Trensk Military Base that they required assistance, uncoded, he wanted to know how other nations would fare against his creation...He smiled...This was not the only time he had used the Twilight Virus on a living creature/being...All he had to do was wait...

OOC: Basicly this is 'Sadistic Scientist taking notes while everyone else dies and while others attempt to discover what the hell is happening and how to stop it.', so yeah, if it goes well it might 'spread'. ;)

The Trensk Base Communications Officer received a uncoded message from 'The Facility', informing them that assistance was required, he saw the message's signiture was from the Director of the Facility and quickly wrote it down to bring to his watch commander, he got out of his chair, taking the paper he wrote the message on with him and ran to the nearby watch commander who was talking with another Officer.

"Sir, please relay this message to Colonel Bulow, 'The Facility' requires assistance and quickly."

Minutes later a team was assembled consisting of 5 men, they where part of the hidden hand of the Trensk Military, the 'Shadow Guards', their primary mission was internal security of Trensk and to protect the Kingdom from any possible threat where the military fails, they worked in small cells all across the nation and some even infiltrated into nearby Nations, posing as Citizens and travellers as they looked for any hints of aggression from the outside world...Basicly they where Elite Commando's....

This Cell was known as 'Ice Squad', it's leader, a 37 year old Veteran who had served the old regime as a Officer before defecting, he is highly skilled in small arms and has a level head, his name was Alexander Namkov, his hair was short and greying, his brown eyes seem to gaze into your soul and he is standing at 6 ft and was highly fit.

Their Second in Command was a 27 year old named Peter Yuri, a Trenksian Soldier who had transferred 5 years ago to the Shadow Guards after displaying extremely high skills in Computers and Leadership, however he is quite easily agitated in a firefight but will do his duty, he is an average man, standing at 5.11 ft, blonde hair and ice-blue eyes, his PDA, aka Personal Data Assistant resembled the Remote Control one would use on a TV in shape, however it was slightly bigger and had a Video Interface and a small Data-port hookup on the right side so he coudl plug into the computer system of just about any base, however it was tricky to handle and required careful calculations to work.

Their Demolitionist is a odd man by the name of Eric Lachance, a former French Demolitionist who immigrated when he was 19 to Trensk, this 24 year old also had a nickname of 'Pyro Man' due to an odd incident involving 2 Claymores, 1 Demolitionist Instructor and a large explosion which burned off his eyebrows as well as his instructor's, he is a shorter man at 5.10 ft, but he is quite physically fit for combat, his black hair is short but seems natural on him except for his missing eyebrows, he carries a large pack with C4's, Claymores, Fragmentation Grenades (Russian Make) as well as acouple Flashbangs just incase.

The other two where Brothers, Tyler and Nick Polark, twins to be exact, both having short reddish hair and green eyes, they are both 19 years of age and are known as 'The Happy Twins' due to their cheerful disposition and always having a 'good time', mostly when their shooting at the range or in real combat, their fun is kept in control by the Second in Command, Tyler is the Scout of the group, having the eyes of a hawk and the ears of a fox while his brother is their Radio Man, when their working together their antics while fighting get...antic...They absolutely love playing pranks on the other members while not on duty and dispite being 'cheerful' almost all the time their actually extremely serious about their jobs.

They stood at a Concrete Bunker which led to the Train underneath that led to the Facility in the core of the city, deep beneath the capital of their Kingdom, Tyler and Nick where waiting by the Steel bunker door looking bored and played 'Knuckles' while the briefing went on, Eric was listening while just toying with a Frag 'nade, his AK-74 was strapped over his shoulder while Nick and Tyler's where over theirs, Peter listened carefully as the older man detailed the mission and any other information while clutching his PDA close in his left hand while his Rifle was lying against the building, Alexander was sternly speaking and glaring slightly at the twins, trying to get their attention by raising his voice slightly higher.

"Alright! This is a Information Gathering and Possible Rescue Operation, so don't screw this up, our target is a underground Research and Development Lab called merely by the guys upstairs 'The Facility', now it is headed by a Dr Tiburk and is primarily focused on Researching Cures for deadly diseases and also dabbles in other area's of research, unfortunatly the message sent was uncoded so others may know of the Facility's existance, so keep a sharp eye out and watch eachother's asses! Alright, let's move out!"

Nick nodded and opened the Steel door and shook his hand that was now sore from playing Knuckles with his brother, they unshouldered their weapons and each walked through, the inside was concrete, they where faced with a stairway leading down to a small Train Station and supply area which would take them to the Facility, they decended down the stairs and where met with a room with an large Train with 2 passenger cars and a Cargo Car, the passenger cars where most likely used to transfer crews of workers and scientists in and out, living underground for a long time makes people odd so they minimalize this risk by replacing the crews as often as possible, letting the old crews rest and get them back in after their relaxed, Alexander beckoned for them to board while he got the train started, Peter got into the Cargo Car while Nick, Tyler and Eric got into the first passenger car, Alexander started the train up and they started their 20 minute trip towards the Facility...Not knowing what horrors awaited them...
