THE DISSOCIATED PRESS (Shostakovich) - The Linus and Lucy Baseball World Series Committee is beginning its search for suitable venues within Linus and Lucy to host the first-ever Baseball World Series, Committee Chairman Dominic Rhodes announced in a joint press conference with Linus and Lucy Starting Quarterback Peyton Manning at the Baseball World Series Committee headquarters in Shostakovich.

"We need eight stadiums, preferably with capacities over fifty thousand, to host up to 42 games over a five-week span. The cities should have plenty of hotel rooms, and no other major events taking place in the city during the Series."

ABOUT THE LINUS AND LUCY BASEBALL WORLD SERIES COMMITTEE: The committee was formed by Manning after the idea was proposed to him by his wife Ashley, and consists of Rhodes, the chairman; Ricky Proehl, secretary; and five members: Fran Tarkenton, Fred Biletnikoff, Gino Marchetti, Raymond Berry, and Jack Trudeau.

Re: Your offer of financial assistance

Thank you for your offer; however, since the aid comes from an organization that, while nominally is unaffiliated with the government, is nonetheless located within a self-proclaimed Communist nation, we cannot be sure the money was not expropriated from its legitimate owners and therefore must reject the offer.

OOC: Are terror attacks allowed at the games?

OOC: Well, if by "allowed" you mean you can attack and my country's police won't do jack shit about it, no--if you're asking if I personally mind if you RP an attack, go ahead if you want.

And, keep in mind that this is like most other international sporting events--there is a designated host country, and everything takes place within that country.
