OCC: For the purposes of an RP, nukes are allowed, but besides that, you'll have to be creative. Also British Londinium will join you, and any other member of the alliance in order to work together.

OCC: Not heavily armored, but decoy ships, I suppose. You'll have to RP how that will work.

Yep. That however, opens you to counter-nuking and my defenses. You'll have to use your fleet and your ally's to defeat me, most probably. this is just a war game anyway, doesn't matter if you lose.

[Guys... point of wargames is simply to first of all, have fun. Second of all, to practice your RP skills. Now why in the hell would you want to use a nuke in a war game? No fun... and no way in hell does it help you become a better RP'er.

If you are trying to have a land based war game... remove the fleet...]

OOC: Ooohhh, an opening.

SIC/IC: "Launch the first wave towards the shore of their damned beach as soon as the EMP blast gets em'." Major General Arnold Wardle yelled to his lower staff. The first wave would contain two hundred Foudre-Class LPD's sailing towards the shore, each packed full of one thousand Grand Imperial Jimuhn. Before the attack two hundred Tu-160s would bombard the coast with fifteen AS-16 Kickbackers each. These would be defended by five hundred Su-47 Berkut Fighter Bombers, who will also drop their load on the beach. And another hundred F-22 Raptors will escort the bombing. After the troops secure a foothold the landing will be re-inforced by another five hundred Foudre-Class LPDs, and eventualy the build up will be up to three million men. Even though it will be one million or lower for a number of days.

All the generals and admirals watched a large display screen in the High Command that was showing a radar monitor. A small dot appeared on the edge of it.

The craft continued to fly towards the presumed location of the TPF High Command. When it hit, TPF would be totally disorganized

"Ready the troops," ordered another general.

What are your plans? We shall launch a beach attack of 200,000 troops as soon as the fleet is clear. A total of some eight hundred war planes to bomb the beach.

Communiqué to the Latican Empire

As of now, it is our intent to destroy the capital city of TPF with an EMP bomb, which will destroy all of their communications arrays as well as their radars in the area. As a result, TPF will enter a state of panic and confusion. At this time, we do not intend to actually have troops enter. Our navy will make some effort to take out their fleet, but will focus more on destroying morale in TPF via cruise missile.

OCC: How fast is it going?

OOC: Mach Six.

The supersonic aircraft was deceted going mach 6. It was a single aircraft, which meant to TPF that it must be a special weapon of some sort. Since it was heading for the capitol, the country reacted quickly. Dozens of AWACS from military bases and other areas took off, each with a flag officer on them. This way, their would till be a chain of command. However, they would still have to pass the defenses.

OCC: How high is it flying?

OOC: about 15,000 ft to acheive maximum spread of ten miles.

The missile was flying low, so thankfully they could intercept it with all their defenses. Flak lit up the sky in front of it. Surface to Air missiles fired at it. But most importantly, the ground lasers fired.

The craft, descending and losing speed, crash landed in the suburbs of the city, exploding in the middle of a suburban home.

OCC: NS is 15 years in the future. Israel has lasers coming into effect next year.

OCC: Many, powerful RPers on NS use laser. To prove it to you...

Also, the U.S. will have an airborne laser by 2012.

I have used lasers in an RP before, no problem. The line is usally when I try to mount them on a Airplane. Also, a COIL laser requires no power source

Except that the EMP bomb would be fried. Therefore, you would hit the suburbs and knock out that area. For the purposes of the RP I can accept this if you really want.

OOC: Would it work if we sent a single strategic bomber, plus a squadron of fighters. Except the fighters would be bombing a town near the Capitol, just to throw you off, and by the time you realize, or the ECO's job is down they'd have already dropped the bomb.

I'm allowing the bomb to be set off. However that wouldnt work because my air defenses would engage ALL aircraft.

The bomb landed in the center of the government district. However, the damage was not as great as it could be, because sensitive military equipment had been hardened. However, the Command and Control was hindered, just not to the degree that would have been normally expected. The AWACS aircraft countinued to fly, fearing more attacks. They would fly 12 hour shifts, before switching with another aircraft.

Radar, jamming, but I'll also have LIDAR as other devices.

There is a chance. But still you would take heavy deaths and deal with my Air Defenses.
