Upon a largely barren planetoid, within the vasty walls of a palace of black stone and marble, there came together five figures. Each bore upon his countenance a blessing of the True Gods, either ascribing to a single creed or bearing the sigils of Chaos Undivided. A great warrior of Khorne bellowed the litanies of blood and vengeance beneath the screaming skies, for his was the mightiest of their foul pantheon. The lithe libertine of Slaanesh whispered of all his God could accomplish, of all the lusts which lay in the feeble hearts of men, and all the pleasure surrender could bring.

Upon a dais of bleached bone, stained red and yellow and green by the death throes of millions, there reclined a bloated figure who gurgled of Nurgle's plans for the Universe. Withered flesh ran with pusy life, pulsing with unnatural vigor. And in a million forms, a messenger of the Master of Change spoke in a thousand voices, each more glorious than the last, speaking of the countless paths of human destiny.

The follower of the Undivided watched, and waited before he let his proclamation slip forth to touch all corners of the galaxy, and to force the eyes of his brethern upon him.

Many are those supposed Gods, like stars upon the sky or sand upon a beach, yet only the True Gods blaze as opals, diamonds and jewels among the rough. Only those Gods of the Ruinous Powers are worthy of veneration. They are the way to salvation and the hope of the downtrodden, they are the reflections of the very hearts of men.

Come before their glory and hear the truth of their pronouncements, come before the Gods of Chaos and be spared from the mundane existence other creeds and cultures would promise you. Come before us and espouse the virtues of your beliefs and be enlightened. For the place of all shall be decided by those most blessed by their Word and their Might, and the futile efforts of others to explain the Universe be turned aside by their Dark Might.

ooc: Can you handle a Kazeci deligation? Very, very stubborn agnostics indiffrent to the existance of gods. How would that sit, considering negotiations in the other thread?

OOC: All views will be examined. The Imperium is so vast and its workings so labyrinthian that one might not know what occurs in the next system, let alone edge to distant edge ;)

A small ship appeared within system, transmitting a friendly IFF signal to the Chronosians. Actually...small's kind of a lie. Proportionately to the crew, yes, the ship was small, but to any normal human, this ship was enormous.

The crew, consisting of Sorcerer-clan Dragons, had been sent by the Dragon God Sarkaran (the title inherited after he had slain his father, Sarakis) to debate upon the factors of religion. It was moreso because Sarkaran himself had seen the creation of Chaos while his people had observed the great war between the Old Ones and the Necrontyr. He knew the cold truth that the Chaos Gods, namely Khorne, Tzeentch, and Nurgle, had been 'created' during Terra's Middle Ages (although even this is hotly debated by the Elders of the Sorcerer Clan).

A transmission is then sent to the Space Port of the planet.

"This is the starship Blessed Be. We are awaiting confirmation to land."

OOC: Yeah, wrong there with the Middle Ages. Khorne, Tzeentch and Nurgle formed after the War in Heaven when the warp, well, warped...Slaanesh was formed at the end of the 30th Millenium as evidenced by the Warp Storms around Terra dissipating. Straight up 40k 3rd/4th Ed lore. Superceding all other :P A basic grasp if your going to criticise my basis, would be nice, yeah?

Runes flickered upon the myriad display panels which monitored traffic outside the structure, hard wired into servitors and attended by tech adepts who also maintained the systems which brought the voices of those gathered to the wider universe. Catechisms of machien code, whirring binary echoed before it was drowned out by the whispered cants of Chaos, the hissed invocations of the dark Gods.

Come forth all ye who would join us and you shall be greeted, we shall welcome you into the bosom of this temple and show you the wonders and the glories of Chaos. We shall speak and you shall listen and we too shall hear your own ways.

There shall be much feasting and debate

A young male, humanoid but bearing little similarity to the offspring of Terra, sat meditating as many pounds of water thundered down upon every instant. As he contemplated the first of the questions put to him by his teacher when he heard the whispered words of the servant of the uncaring gods. As he listened to the message, he stood and walked out of the water. It seemed they wished to talk and while he was close to certain that for both sides it would prove futile, it might prove interesting.

Boarding a small craft, he set the destination and was quickly dormant.

*************************************

Some many hours thereafter, the vessel re-entered space quite near the planet, perilliously close for many other vessels. Entering into a parking orbit a message was broadcast to the planet informing the occupants of its reason for becoming a satellite to the world and the close local to the forum for it to preform a meteoric landing.

<Tweak their noses, then? It's not as if we're going to live out the week>

<Hah! Why the hell not? If the Maker-Mind shows up here, what will it matter? That thing has tens of thousands of ships, and we're one out of a few hundred. Besides, we've got some leave.>

The Interdictor, a frigate in the service of the New Realm, would travel to Chronosia. They had not yet revealed their hand, and had not yet engaged the Union in combat. No doubt, however, their appearance alone would be a surprise. After all, they had been without contact with their neighbour for some three centuries, and their former worlds were nothing more than smouldering ruins.

With a cursory transmission to the base, they pierced the wall between dimensions, shimmering blue mist enveloping them, and fading away, when it cleared, the ship was gone, as was the mist.

A crew of sixteen. Two metapsychic operants, three latents, eleven normal humans. As they slipped out of Truespace, they sent a brief transmission.

Greetings, sons of Chronosia. This is the frigate Interdictor, hailing from the New Realm. We are intriuged by your.. statement. We will be landing presently, should you allow it.

The Chaos Gods were not the only Gods in creation there was one just as dark. One that destroy all others, leaving nothing in its wake. The great Devourer, the living Paradox, Kajeenith, The Mad God also heard.

A Whale ship flew through space. Behind it, trailed The Void itself. expanding, consuming, absorbing.

The Void only stretched so far, then it stopped itself. The Whale ship left the reaches of the void.

It followed the message to its final point.

The Mad God has heard your message, and has become intrigued by what you suggust. He comes in person to hear the words of The Chaos Pantheon, and to enlighten them, just as he seeks to be enlightened.

The Whale ship stopped dead just short of the planet's atmosphere.

It had the usual signs of life and waited only for landing permission. Preferably in an ocean.

The voice reached the green Illuminated halls of the Warrior Priests, the Priest lord and his Seers intrigued by the rapturous voice which had replaced that of the Warrior Gods themselves, Blood soaked the Priest lord roared out in attention, his Seers immediatly dispersing to have the Temple Cruiser launched.

Through the noxious red gas the Temple Cruiser marched onwards into space releasing the instantly recognisable black smog of the Priest's vessels, before opening a hyperspace window and slowly falling through towards the target, the Priest lord prayed once more to his Gods seeking out the voice once more, speaking in the holy tongue he responded.

Speaker for the Dieties of Chaos, I wish to present myself at your feet that I might be able to learn of these Dieties and that I might introduce myself as the Speaker for the Warrior Gods, as we speak I move through space to introduce myself should it be allowed.

((I might have been looking at an out of date historical calendar.))

The 'small' starship then descended forth into the atmosphere of the planet below. The ship, being as large as a Space Marine Strike Cruiser, found the largest docking area that it could fit in. When the ship did find one, it found the dock to be quite...enclosing...

With barely enough room to open the hatch, the six Sorcerer Dragons descended forth into the main bay, and as soon as they reached the bottom of the hatch platform, they slowly transformed into their human forms, allowing them to traverse amongst the smaller life forms.

OOC: If we could assume that you dock etc, since I already approved such measures, and get to the debating chamber so I can start to shine, that would be lovely...:P

IC:

Come forth. We await those who would join us in this game, come forth and taste the fruits of our table, the wines of our orchards. We offer forth welcome in the name of the ruinous Powers, and their most favored servants.

Join us in the rapture of debate and the joy of conversation, for the Universe is a place of many truths.

We shall unravel but a few in the coming days.

The Universe...

...A place of many truths, many stories. Where reality is in relation to itself and nonsense is just admidable as logic...

Give me a topic I will join you, though paganism be not my favoured medium.

OOC: Alright, since you said so.

IC: And so the Whale slowly decended.

The Docking port opened, and who should exit to discuss Religon, but Kajeenith himself. The Mad God was never really known for Debate.

He smiled a dark smile. He walked with a stately pace to "The Rapture of Debate". He wore absolutly no weapon of any kind, nor did he appear to bear any Defense. He came alone. Completly alone. Kajeenith appeared to Trust the Chronosians, yet had no basis to do so. His Long Black Cloak rustled silently around him as he walked.

The orb's computer recieved the message and broke its holding orbit. It would seem as if it's goal was to pancake itself and its passengers but when it smashed into the ground and the dust from the newly formed crater cleared it was as if it had landed with the softness of a feather.

Walking out of the opening hatch, he began walking toward the forum with a gait most unusual, for his species bore inverted knees among other things.

Those who had gathered were lead into the vastness of a hall, black walls of stone lined with blood red drapes, banners pledging allegience to the Ruinous Powers of Chaos. Fire burned in mighty braziers, licking at the air, teasing it with incandescent color.

"Welcome...One and all" The voice seemed to echo all about them. "You have answered our call, most treasured guests, representatives of Nations, creeds and beliefs. We welcome you to this Council, to this debate. You shall answer of yourselves, you shall...Enlighten us."

"And I in turn will, but before I answer you, you will answer me. WHY? Though never have we encountered each other, most assuridly, we have heard stories of each other. Never before have I heard of you peacefully discussing religon. Mostly, I have heard of by the blade. What is it, that leads you to discuss Religon peacefully now?" Kajeenith asked.

A chuckle rippled forth from the lips of the undivided, a banal amusement gripping him. "Perhaps because we can? Perhaps we have some insidious plot that brews to ensnare you all? Perhaps boredom, or perhaps because so much is won by the blade that often one must extoll the virtues of a true path without the need for blood.

After all, we have forged much. Dark truths, black wonders, unholy miracles and set them upon the Universe. All deserve to know the ways of Chaos. Be it by coersion, diplomacy, war or subversion. We must be everywhere, if this pathetic universe is to be redeemed in Their Names.

"I see, and understand. But far be it from me to dominate such a peaceful gathering. I shall let others go first." Kajeenith said.
