August 21st 1969 0400 Torishima Naval Station, Bushian Naval Command-
"Radar tower to HQ over"
"HQ here go ahead"
"HQ we have picked up areial targets bering 295 out of open waters-height 2200ft-range 4 miles and closing fast"
"RT can you confirm target Identity?"
Negative, we know their not pla.....
At that moment two ballistic missles struck the Naval Station doing extensive damage to port installastions, and destroying or crippling ships and aircraft in the area.
Later that day-HQ main office Bushijatagi,
"What is the extent of the damage to our combat fleet?"
"Well Admiral we've lost 3 cruisers 5 destroyers 68 aircraft 4 service ships and 2 carriers"
"Then the only carrier we have left is the Azuma?"
"Yes sir, we beleive the missles were launched from a land based platform but none of our reconissance show any activity anywhere there are sites."
"You mean sites we know of?"
"Yes Sir"
"Then Its possible Major, that a secret launch site sent off two birds that wiped out one third of our fleet?"
"Yes Sir...So who did it?"
"Gunkoku of course their the only ones with the manpower and the military arm to do it. Plus with our fleet out of the way they can run all trade routes in the Ukokai."
"So what do we do?"
"Call back all forces abroad, re-arm, re-supply and contact our allies. and see what our intel forces can find out about ship movement in Bostra."
