Specs:

Caliber: 4mm tapered sabot round designed specifically for this new weapon, called the "Pinprick" and the "Silver Wind"
Operating principle: Delayed blowback
Trigger mechanism: Double action only
Magazine capacity: 22 rounds
Overall length 9.34 inches
Barrel length: 6.42 inches
Weight, unloaded: 1.61 lbs
Weight, loaded: 2.03 lbs

Double action only to reduce accidental discharges

The round is the most important part of this new weapon. It fires a 4mmx43mm saboted round designed to penetrate the toughest armors. In testing it has proven to fire through 58 layers of kevlar, 3 ceramic plates, and nearly 3mm of titanium alloy. You may think that this round does not have much stopping power, and in some circumstances you would be correct. 2 types of rounds can be used, the "Pinprick" for maximum penetrative powers, as well as the "Silver Wind" which upon impact with flesh begins spinning , effectively tearing vital organs to shreds. Both rounds are fired at 2000fps.

The weapon itself is being sold for $350 and the two typed of rounds are being sold in bulk crates of 100,000 for $60,000

The first 3 purchasers will be given a 50% discount.

ooc: A possible recoil issue(as something that can do that, provided it doesn't 'cut' through instead of punching through) should be have a fairly high recoil that might make it partially ineffective.
As well, how does the 'Silver Wind' start spinning? I'm assuming you mean spin as in buzzsawish as rounds(from rifled barrels) spin automatically.

OOC: To the first question, The recoil is kept to a minimum because it exits the barrel very hot and will have less of a punching effect and more of a cutting effect as you said previously, because you can melt through kevlar easier than you can punch through it with a nail. To the second question, it is just how the round reacts on impact, depending on the surface it hits, it bends in a certain fashion and the momentum has to go somewhere.

OOC:
your round while fast compared to most psitol ammo is still a bit slow for use as a recuced calibre penetrator and since youa re slower than 5.7x28mm i don't see how you expect to get almost twice the AP performance of the SS190 round. Even with your "heating" issue, which seems a bit debatable as your sabot should be sheilding the bullet from the effects of barral friction this does seem more than a little overstated.

Of course this could be possible but you would need to provide a few more bits of information such as bullet weight, and the sabot size and weight.

As for your none penetrating round it still isn't terribly clear what exactly you intend it's terminal effect mechanism to be. I would currently assume you mean the round tumbles end over end once it has entered the body as msot bullets do, personally i am not sure how a fairly long and thin bullet would perform in that regaurd, although if well designed it might well fragment quite nastily.
Of course since you use a Saboted round for your AP it might just be simplier to use a full sized bullet in the actual barrel calibre as your "manstopper".
