War with Kolvokia (Closed, ATTN Kolvokia)

Kensington Corporate Headquarters
"Damn it. I just noticed. One of our corporate assets, Londinian Fiji, is rather closed to this...Armed Republic of Kolvokia," said the CEO, irritably.
"Darling, why does it matter?" asked his wife, the COO.
"Because. They could demand that it become part of their nation. I don't know. I just want them out of the way," replied the CEO.
"Sinclair!" he barked, and his Chief Strategic Officer ran towards him. "Ms. Sinclair, I want Kolvokia to die a most painful death."
Royale High Command
"Cruise missiles launched. Eight inbound towards target, homing on capital."

The Kolvokian anti-missile systems came online as soon as the cruise missiles were detected. Three were shot down before even nearing the capital. Another was damaged, and crashed into a suburb, killing two dozen Low Kolvokians and injuring thirty more. The final four struck home.

"I want a damage report, now!" Shouted the Archon, striding down the hallway of the bunker, surrounded by a number of nervous aides.
"Sir, damage to the infrastructure is light. Only two roads of any note were damaged, and a third was blocked by rubble. The contingency traffic plans are already in effect."
"Two of the missiles landed in residential districts. Heavy casualties, but nothing beyond what you'd expect. Current statistics are... one hundred Low Kolvokians dead, an indeterminate amount injured. Thirty High Kolvokians dead, fifty-three injured."
The Archon nodded. “Industry damage?” He asked, pulling open the door to his meeting room, where a number of men in military uniforms waited.
“Well, as you know, it was deemed to hazardous to place any substantial wartime factories in the same city as major governmental buildings. We lost a whole block of creamed corn canning plants, as well as a number of tire factories that could have been used to turn out tank treads, but nothing that will seriously damage the war effort.”
“Anything else of note?”
“Yes, sir. Both the High and Low Houses were wiped out.”
“Of course. They’re the biggest official government buildings in the nation. I take it, then, that full wartime powers have been transferred to me?”
“Naturally, sir.”
“Excellent,” he turned towards one of the men in military uniform. “General, do we know who is responsible.”
“In a few words, fuck yes, sir.” Replied the general. “They didn’t even try to hide it. British Londinium.”
“Options for hitting them back?” Asked the Archon, turning to the other men. “General Glossom?”
“They have a colony that borders us,” replied Glossom. “I can have a strike force assembled in twelve hours. They can mobilize in twenty-four.”
“Do it. Admiral?”
“Our air force is already mobilizing, sir. As per the Protocols of War, I’ve prepared a bomber force. They can move out any time you like.”
“Not yet. Let’s give them a chance, first.”

Official Kolvokian Announcement
British Londinium, the Royale Group, or whatever it is you call yourself. You have attacked without warning or reason, and shed innocent civilian blood. You have shown yourselves to be honorless dogs, and shall be put down as such. To spare the civilians of your nation, however, we will give you a chance to surrender first. If the men responsible for ordering the attack will immediately surrender themselves to face Kolvokian justice, we will not strike in retaliation. If within one hour, however, we do not recieve a reply in the affirmative, we will strike without mercy, and pay the blood debt you have incurred many times over.
Archon Relkor
P.S. Consider your offer to open a corporate branch in Kolvokia officially declined.

OOC: How many bombers?

Open Communique:
British Londinium,
We are tired of your weakling nation attacking others unjustly. One more attack, one more, and your pitiful military (which may I add, though you have more taxpayers, your budget is roughly half of our's) shall feel the full might of the Imperial Navy and Strategical Rocket forces. Your leader is an ass, his wife, a bitch. Back off, or your little nation will be "plunged into an unending cacophony of screams". Kolvokia, you have a much more powerful ally on your side than your opposition.

OOC: Dude, it's CLOSED. And besides, we're in the same alliance. Fuck off.

I don't care much about E.V.I.L. Are you scared? You know you'd lose. Closed? You attack a newbie, and you expect me to watch your underfunded military take him over? Time for that epidemic to start...

OOC: Dude, Kolvokia and I discussed this in our TGs, and we wanted it closed. Go away. Any and all interference in this thread shall be ignored.
[Assume I heard about the threat.]
Dearest Friends in Laquasa Isle,
Should you destroy the integrity of our most prestigious alliance by attacking a member nation, over an act clearly permitted by the charter, I will castrate you myself. Do not test me, I will not tolerate the destruction of this organization over the petty idealistic fueds you may have Emporer. Should you order the death of one man, one man belonging to a member nation, I will not stop until I have your head on a pike.
With All Love and Respect,
Greggory Helicon
[If the war is closed, that means Kolvokia agreed for it to be closed... he could have demanded it be open if he so chose.]

OOC: He did agree to have it closed.
Kolvokia
21-12-2006, 01:35
OOC: Laquasa Isle, I did indeed agree for this to be closed. This is not a cowardly tactic on his part, but rather an attempt by myself (and I presume him) to preserve the integrity of this thread, which is largely concerned with Kolvokia's very first RP, instead of having it degenerate into a huge multi nation war, with myself actually playing only a minor role in it.
British Londinium- the Protocols of War call for my entire bomber force to be ready to mobilize at a moment's notice. Not sure what the stats on that would be. Appreciate if anyone could point me at a reasonable source to figure that out. The bomber force that is specifically tasked to first bring the war to you is about one hundred bombers, with fighter escorts.
Kolvokia

OOC: But... I haven't launched any bombers.
“Our air force is already mobilizing, sir. As per the Protocols of War, I’ve prepared a bomber force. They can move out any time you like.”
“Not yet. Let’s give them a chance, first.”

OOC: Oh, whoops.
IC:
Fifteen more submarines sailed towards the Kolvokian coast.
"You know, I find this funny," observed a crewman on board the HMS Trafalgar.
"Why is that?" asked another.
"We fight for nothing. I mean we live, we fight, we die. What does it all matter?"
"Shut the fuck up, Vladimir."
"You first, Estragon."
Their banter was interrupted by the sound of the internal annoucement system.
Now hear this, now hear this. This is the captain speaking. We are exiting international waters. Battle alert is to be instated at once. Rig all parts of this submarine for silent running. Ready cruise missiles one through twenty for launch.
The banter ceased. The fifteen submarines approached in silence, firing twenty cruise missiles each at the Kolvokians.

OOC: Also, as I stated in my background emergence thread, I don't have a coast. I'm landlocked.

OOC: The missiles can still fire long-range.

OOC: The missiles can still fire long-range.
Undoubtedly, but...
OOC: Oh, whoops.
IC:
Fifteen more submarines sailed towards the Kolvokian coast.
OOC: So tempted to simply not pay attention towards the cruise missiles by saying that they obviously ran aground, but that would be bad form.

OOC: I changed it. Sorry.

OOC: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strategic_Air_Command#Air_Forces_within_SAC
Also Kolvokia you can talk to me about military structure, but a recommended group of heavy bombers to enter his airspace would be:
Strategic Bombing - Flatten Stuff
35 B-1 Lancers/Tu-160 Blackjacks
35 B-52s/Tu-16 Badgers
Tactical Bombing/Self-Defense - Send a bomb down a chimney and also pop off a Sidewinder to discourage fighters
30 F-15E Strike Eagles/Su-34 Fullback
Fighter Escort - Protect Bombers
36 F-15 Eagle/Su-27 Flanker
Kolvokia
21-12-2006, 02:33
OOC: Thank you Leafanistan. British Londinium, I'll take your word for it, but for some reason I can't see the changes, so I'll assume that it's being launched via the airspace of your nation? Targeting anywhere specifically?
British Londinium
21-12-2006, 02:35
OOC: I changed it from "entering Kolvokian waters" to "exiting international waters." 125 missiles towards your major airbases, seventy-four towards major population centres, one towards an elementary school.

"Now hear this! A missile launch has been launched by British Londinium on civilian and military sectors. As of now, a state of Total War, according to the Protocols of War, has been initiated. The majority of British Londinian missiles, thanks to the constant vigilance of our anti-missile systems have been destroyed. However, heavy casualties were experienced in population centers, as well as some light damage to the military infrastructure."
The radio clicked off. Even before the message had started playing, the hundred and twenty bombers, with three fighters for each bomber. They headed directly towards the first military target in British Londinian Fiji.
Meanwhile, a large force of infantry and tanks, stationed near the border, began making preperations to march.

OOC: Note, you'll have to cross a few miles of sea to reach Londinian Fiji, and cross a few hundred miles of sea to reach British Londinium. And 360 fighters seems excessive with a 2 billion USD defence budget...

Victory shall always be ours. Those who do not contribute to victory shall be fired. - James Batra, CEO
"Shit! Enemy aircraft, inbound!" cried someone in the High Command.
"Fire all AA guns during their approach. Engage supercomputer Victoria. Activate the anti-missile/anti-air systems. Scramble all fighters at once," ordered the Chief Strategic Officer.
Victoria came online. She was the massive supercomputing network designed by Royale to coordinate anti-aircraft and anti-missile attacks. Right now, she was 97% efficient.
Processors activated, she began to fire AA cannons at the aircraft, as well as other assorted missiles numbering in the thousands.
One hundred and eighty eight aircraft from carriers around Londinian Fiji scrambled to intercept, as well as two squadrons from the ground, and five more from British Londinium.
