I had a thought about this kind of rp these last couple days, and i was wondering what everyone else thought about it.

Overview: The story would take place aboard an American Aircraft carrier, either during a certain war (Im thinking Balkans conflict or a future war), and each person that joins will play one person aboard the ship. I, as creator, would create a small little plot, which is then open for everyone else to build on, personal lives, eyewitness views, 3rd-person views, interaction with others, etc. Im just interested in hearing what you guys think about it.

i guess we could have both SEALs and Marines, the marines could actually land in Korea, and the SEALs could just operate there and other places every so often.

It sounds very interesting. Especially with me being in the Navy.

ok. so, we are going to do a near-future war with North Korea. Dont worry, itll be this decade, so you dont have to think up any new tech, and ill make a background story. As creator, ill rp a number of people when u need it, but i think ill only hold 1-2 people.

USMC Marine Unit
Navy F/A-18F fighter pilots
Navy Sea Stallion Search and Rescue/insertion pilots.
Several commanding officers, the XO, Air boss, but those may be alittle boring for you guys, so if no one wants them, i can take the command area.

lol. no one try to take the SEAL commander ;) but theres 8 men(2 fireteams=1 squad) so u can choose between seven

Info: Canadian who decided to serve with the American navy. Every since he was young boy, he wanted to serve on a aircraft carrier, but to his disapointment, the Canadian navy didn't purchase or build one by the time he was old enough, hence enlisted in the American Navy. But before he did, he served over with the Canadians in the middle east flying loaned Blackhawks from the americans and the Canadian Giffion Helicopter. He saw two tours over there before asing for a transfer to the american naval aviation. Hes been in the naval aviation ever since, also trained to fly the F-18 Hornet in the Canadian 4th Wing in Cold Lake Alberta, before transfering to Winnipeg to train as a helicopter pilot.

I like this...I like this a lot.

It would make sense to have Ground elements *Marines, Seals, etc* because the Pilots will be RPing a lot over land. It'd be nice to see how well it can all be communicated.

I'd love to be a Marine, but if we have no takers I'll be a SEAL...

Which gives me an idea...why not a captured SEAL, as in I don't start already being captured but the USS Ronald Reagan RPs out it's first Mission involvement in the Invasion.

Hey what about a Marine Fighter/Attack Squadron onboard? I would like to play a Squadron Commander of the Marine Fighter/Attack Squadron. I am also former military. I have alot of know how on how the military is ran. Thanks. Most of your Squadron Commanders are Commanders/Lieutenant Colonels.

Who is going to RP the Korean enemy? I was originally considering Marine Batallion Command, but I'd like to take a stab at commanding the enemy...

(Now, I'm not exactly dependable on attendance, so I'd only RP some, with I'd assume some help from Eb when I'm not availible..)
