A spy-sat operator sighed. Hataria has broken their disarmament treaty again...why the Questarians keep them alive is a mystery to me.

He signalled a military officer to come and look at this data, and after looking at it, the officer gave an exaggerated sigh, and said,

"I'm not really sure how the Hatarians can continue to build fleets and raise armies. They've been nuked, occupied, rebuilt, nuked, occupied, rebuilt..it's ridiculous. I'll send this information off, thank you, citizen." the officer said, and wandered off.

...again. Oh well, now's the time the Imperial Navy can shine..I guess. Grand Admiral Nixon will want a piece of this action. he thought, smelling a promotion.

Venture Island Naval Base
A blaring telephone call awoke the disembodied head of Grand Admiral Richard Nixon from his slumber. After losing his body a freak accident involving copious amounts of alcohol and a chainsaw, his head was salvaged and placed in a modified gefilte fish jar, with other modifications allowing it to survive without lungs or any other body parts. Really quite creative - the best in Imperial engineering. He had a little go-kart he travelled around in, which had a telescoping pole which allowed his head to tower over everyone else's. It also had attachments for machine guns, tasers, and other weapons. The Imperial Navy paid a company based in Caladan over five billion dollars for the reparation of Nixon's head and his go-kart, and it appeared to be worth the investment.

The phone continued ringing, and Nixon said 'ANSWER THE PHONE.', which immediately connected him to the Imperial High Command.

"What, what, what is it?" Nixon yelled into the phone.

"Hataria has broken her disarmament treaty again. Send a force and destroy their ridiculously small fleet. We do not care how." the voice of a Grand Admiral of the Navy said from the other end.

"Fine, fine, acknowledged." Nixon said, cutting the transmission.

He started his little go-kart with a thought in that direction, and went to a computer screen. He thought again, and the go-kart connected itself to the computer screen, interfacing Nixon with the computer.

"Let's see here..2nd Expeditionary Fleet is patrolling in that area..commanded by an Admiral Robert Mogensen." he said to himself, thinking. The 2nd Fleet was comprised of approximately 192 ships, the largest being a Vanguard class battleship. Two escort carriers, which had enough air assets for this planned mission.

Computer, he thought into his little brain-linky-doodad, Connect me to Two-Extra-Foxtrot, encryption Nixon-Delta-Four.

His brain-linky-doodad beeped, and it used the computer near him to initiate a connection between the Admiral of the Second Expeditionary and Nixon.

The face of Admiral Robert Mogensen appeared on his screen, and he showed the look of slight revulsion that everyone did when they saw Nixon for the first time in a long time.

"Sir." the Admiral said, saluting to his superior officer.

"Admiral, I have a mission for you. Those damn Hatarians have got their panties in a bunch again and you're going to go blow them out of the water. They have two-hundred and fifty-three ships according to our spy-satellites, but they're Hatarian and made of cardboard. If you succeed, there's a promotion in it for you. Good luck, Admiral. Coordinates are being transmitted to you." Nixon said, blubbering using what remained of his jowly face whenever possible.

"Yes, sir." the Admiral saluted, and closed the communication line without being dismissed.

2nd Expeditionary Fleet, 1,000 nautical miles off of Hatarian fleet
"You heard the Grand Admiral, nav. What's our expected time?" Admiral Mogensen said.

"Well, they're heading right in our direction, Admiral..At intercept speeds, maybe twelve hours." the navigation officer said, looking over spy-sat data and various and sundry other things on his computer.

"Set an intercept course, bring the fleet to red alert. Prepare all planes for launch, arm all weapons." the Admiral said, preparing for the inevitably short battle that was to occur.

"When we're in range, open with a salvo of anti-ship missiles, gunnery. Hatarian ships are notoriously weak against..well everything for that matter."

"Aye, sir. We are underway now." the navigation officer said, furiously punching buttons.

Another day, another war.

(An explosion rattled the decks of the Vanguard as a near-miss shell impacted the water near the great battleship.)
Admiral: What happen?
Officer: Someone set us up the bomb.
Admiral: What!!
Technician: We get signal.
Operator: Main screen turn on.
(A face, presumably Hatarian appears on the screen. He looks rather diabolical.
Admiral: It you!!
Hatarian: How are you gentlemen!!
Hatarian: All your base are belong to us.
(The bridge crew laughs. They all know the Hatarian is lying, after all. He's Hatarian, and they make bad liars.)

IWNS Vanguard
"Admiral, we are within range of the Hatarian fleet." the sensory officer said, yelling over the chattering that was occuring.

"Fire at will!" the Admiral yelled back, which prompted the tactical officer to transmit firing orders.

A destroyer flotilla pulled ahead of the main capital ship group, screening for Hatarian fire and submarines. The capital ship group pulled back, preparing for a battle-line formation, allowing all the main guns of the battleship to fire on a target. Missile batteries pointed themselves in the direction of the Hatarian flotilla, loosing anti-ship missiles against the escort screen of the Hatarian navy. A fighter escort began a large patrol around the flotilla, covering anti-submarine warfare helicopters patrolling the direct area around the Whyatican fleet.

Naval bomber squadrons lifted into the sky, firing many anti-ship missiles from their missile pods, as well as preparing to drop conventional bombs once they were directly over the Hatarian fleet. Shells fired from heavy cruisers and the Vanguard peppered the general area of the Hatarian flotilla, ranging their guns before a more accurate salvo could occur.

And we'll all assume I don't have a two page essay to write tonight that's due tomorrow, so you can pretend there's a better ending here!

Thanks to passive sonar, the approaching Hatarian fleet was detected several days in advance of their arrival. The Dartian government had little reason to expect an attack on their own soil, but the Hatarians past antics were well known. As a precaution, President Allejandro Valerio ordered the nation's air force and air force reserves be placed on high alert while the 1st and 2nd fleets were ordered to relocate to the North Sea.

When the Whyatican fleet engaged the Hatarians, Dartian intelligence assumed there was some sort of war going on that didn't involve them. Nevertheless, Dartia's navy and air force stood ready to respond should a regional friend come under attack.

The E-4 Nightwatches doing their normal patrols over Ezaltia also spotted the Hatarian fleet as it passed through the Norwegian Sea. Although Ezaltia had never had any conflixt with the nation in question, it had observed its reputation for warfare. The 20-inch coastal railgun batteries were readied, and the 1st Surface Warfare Fleet, freshly repaired from its battles with Blackhelm and Nero, was placed on high alert.

"What is it?" The Prime Minister picked up the phone, a little fustrated after being woke up in the middle of the night.

"Sir, Hatarian forces is invading Kroando. They are launching cruise misslies and bomabarding the coasts as we speak." The PM did not take too much time to recognise whose voice it was. It was General David Sheffield of the Military Intelligence. "We also picked up information that a foreign fleet had attacked the Hatarian fleet. Nothing more is known. We will keep you posted." General Shffield then hung up the phone.

The 1st Carrier Strike Group and 3 Air Squadrons were relocated to NEA bases near the North Sea.

Hataria didn't lose to you guys at all. I ignored Tranny for being rude and the entire thing fell apart.

Also, Whyatica, instantly appearing in CRUISER gun range is more than a little godmoddy (and silly, considering Hataria has an SD handy).

On the same note, Hataria, you would have been detected a lot further out than 12 miles. Try backing it up to 120 miles or so.

[The Northern Coast, around Sovistan, is permanantly frozen... well, its a glacial sheet, a hundred meters of ice... if you fleet tried to move through it... well, it would take months. Only non-frozen area is through the Baltic, so ill assume thats where you're coming from.]

Kroando was a nation of war. It had been built through violent revolution and civil war, and had effectively been involved in one war or another since it's conception. Whether it be invasion from the former Mongol Confederacy to the east, or a far off Colonial Exploration, Kroando was effectively of two things. Maintaining Law and Order. And War. A a brief glance at the nations spending would prove that. (http://nseconomy.thirdgeek.com/nseconomy.php?nation=kroando) The Coalitionist Army, the largest in Nova Europa had been on high alert ever since the Doomingsland Invasion of Sovistan, a war that nearly dragged the Coalition into it's bloody grip. It was not to be so, as several economic pacts and enviromental agreements between Doomingsland and Kroando saved the peace effort. Regardless, over 3.4 Million Coalitionist Legionaires were stationed in the area, 420,000 along along the 'Baltic Line'.

The Baltic Line was formed as a result of fear that is war with Doomingsland did commence, they would immidiately open up another front through the Baltic, sweeping through. 420,000 crack veterans off the Permanent Eastern Frontier were now positioned in concrete trenches and fortifications along the line. With them were some 4,000 Kraken II MBT's (http://z14.invisionfree.com/Kroando_Tech_Inc/index.php?showtopic=5), battle tanks that made the ancient T-72 look like a Tonka Toy. Accompanied by 400 ID-57 Decimators (http://z14.invisionfree.com/Kroando_Tech_Inc/index.php?showtopic=1) that toar both infantry and armor apart, the line was a formidable one. However the strength of the line was always in the artillery. Some 5,000 120mm Guns were positioned behind the line in various areas, preparing to literally cover the land in shells. 2,000 C-24 Big Guns (http://z14.invisionfree.com/Kroando_Tech_Inc/index.php?showtopic=6) were positioned behind the line some 10 miles... leaving them able to shoot into the Baltic some fifty miles! However it did not end there. The Land forces included a 3,200 C-37 Mountain Breakers (http://z14.invisionfree.com/Kroando_Tech_Inc/index.php?showtopic=7). Finally, over 1,000 105mm guns and 800 110mm Guns were positioned acorss the line as direct fire artillery pieces. Included in the infantry force were well over 15,000 light machine guns, 10,000 88mm Mortars and 4,000 grenade launchers. The beaches were lined with mines, barbed wire and tank traps... the Hataria had walked right into a defence meant to stop a force 20 times it's size.

Now of course the Coalitionists were no idiots. They had RADAR, SONAR, but most importantly, LADAR. They were well aware that non-friendly forces were approaching the continent, and since they were not notified, they assumed the worst. Bomb Sirens rang out before the enemy fleet was within fifty miles, forcing the people of the coastal cities into bomb shelters. However they let the enemy approach... no naval forces were deployed... they were all up in the north on training excersizes anyways. They came within twelve miles of the coast... and then they signed their own death warrants.

As the first bombers took off from their carriers, land based LADAR Sights rang out with lock ons. SDCI-3 Missile Batteries (http://z14.invisionfree.com/Kroando_Tech_Inc/index.php?showtopic=13), of which there were dozens along the coast, opened up in full force. [I have no idea how many bombers you launched, but assume there are three missiles heading at each bomber. These missiles are top of the line, so I dont expect those bombers to have any sucess whatsoever.]

But it did not end there... oh no. These bastards would not make it home alive. The G-24 Striker (http://z14.invisionfree.com/Kroando_Tech_Inc/index.php?showtopic=8), the back bone of the Coalitionist Army, was now going to begin to welcome their guests. Each of the 3,400 G-24's carried with it a number of SDCI-3's, and CD/44 Twister-2 Missiles... scores of SDCI-3's were fired up at the bomber waves long before they came near the coast [I cant believe any bombers are making it to the coast... wall of AA Missiles heading at your bombers]. However the Twister-2's were meant to strike at the fleet itself. They expected the enemy to have a number of Anti-Missile Systems... but perhaps some damage could be caused. Some 900 missiles were fired, a mere drop in the bucket compared to the massive stock piles they had. The Missiles were quickly followed by the C-24 Big Guns. These 2,000 behemoth artillery pieces opened up, using pin point targetting from their highly advanced LADAR-RADAR Guidance Systems. The 240mm Guns Roared, lobbing 300 Pound High-Explosive Shells at the enemy fleet. The massive guns could hit a target within ten feet in most cases, due to the targeting procedures and devices carried... the enemy fleet was now facing over 6,000 300lb shells every minute. Even if they decided to run... the C-24's could continue to fire until the ships were 80 miles away... albeit with lesser accuracy... but the point was, the fleet was in for some shit. The C-37 Mountain Breakers also opened up, the 3,200 vehicles throwing hundreds of rounds at the enemy, with even greater accuracy.

Some would scream madness in due to the 'waste' of munitions... Kroando had a defence budget of 20 Trillion. Law and Order demanding another 20 Trillion. Government waste at 1 Trillion. The main industry of the nation was arms production... there was enough.

"Admiral, we are within range of the Hatarian fleet." the sensory officer said, yelling over the chattering that was occuring.

"Fire at will!" the Admiral yelled back, which prompted the tactical officer to transmit firing orders.

A destroyer flotilla pulled ahead of the main capital ship group, screening for Hatarian fire and submarines. The capital ship group pulled back, preparing for a battle-line formation, allowing all the main guns of the battleship to fire on a target. Missile batteries pointed themselves in the direction of the Hatarian flotilla, loosing anti-ship missiles against the escort screen of the Hatarian navy. A fighter escort began a large patrol around the flotilla, covering anti-submarine warfare helicopters patrolling the direct area around the Whyatican fleet.

Naval bomber squadrons lifted into the sky, firing many anti-ship missiles from their missile pods, as well as preparing to drop conventional bombs once they were directly over the Hatarian fleet. Shells fired from heavy cruisers and the Vanguard peppered the general area of the Hatarian flotilla, ranging their guns before a more accurate salvo could occur.

And we'll all assume I don't have a two page essay to write tonight that's due tomorrow, so you can pretend there's a better ending here!

The Hatarians lost 12 Destroyers, a tender, 10 Curisers and 20 Subs, But The Hatarians struck back with their own Weapons. Cuirse Missiles, Guns, and the Deadly Thresher Shark Torpedo Missiles (Launched from The Destroyers and Cruisers). The Anti-Air Firgates fired against the enemy Air Planes and helicopters.

The Fleet was in the Shape of a Crestent Moon with The Hosptal Ships, The Carriers Troop Ships and The Hataria Behind it away from The Battle. All fighters were protecting these Ships while the MALI Torpedo Bomber/Foghters were launched from all Six Carriers headig to destroy The enemy ship, the Vanguard

All the while The Landing Boats started landing and The Hataria Fired it's Big Guns at enemy Prositions on the Beach.

[You had me worried for a second. Just for reference, my attacks come right as your bombers take off, long before your landing craft even start to head to shore.]

By now the massive fleet had arrived at the warzone. While some of the fleet pulled out to land the troops, the rest of the fleet, turned to engage the Hatarian Fleet.

Leading the way was twenty attack submarines who would launch their torpedoes at the enemy carriers. Second, 30,000 Anti-shipping missiles would be launched. Then, more than 2,000 Aircraft would attack the enemy fleet. Then, the massive guns of the cruisers, battleships, and Super-capitol ships would fire their projectiles.


At the same time, two B-3's flew over the battle zone, loaded with EMP bombs in case things went awry.

IC: The Hatarian Fleet was struck by The Kroandoian Missiles and and shells. 20 Ships, namely Destroyers, Cuirsers and one Carrier were blasted to nothing.

But The bombers that were to head for The cities were soon Turning back, The trick had worked. The hatarians now knew where to strike back........and The Bombs were Bunkerbusters.

The Troops were soon starting off to the Beach on the Landing Craft, while The Hataria Fired at The Beach it self with Artillery and Missiles. This was to bast any enemy troops and destroy any Mines on The beach.

any enemy Planes were soon to be met with The Hatarian fighters over The troop Ships, The Hataria and The 5 Carriers (Thanks to one being sunk.) and were waiting for The enemy.

[My SDCI-3's have ranges of over 40 miles... if your bombers turned back, the missiles would follow them right back to the decks of the ships. They wouldn't be able to fire bunker busters at me without being blown apart by the missiles. The missiles were fired long before you tried to drop bombs... so...]

The Hatarians had to be insane. One ship was not going to take the Defences of the Baltic. There were thousands upon thousands of artillery pieces, and hundreds of thousands of troops. Millions of mines. One ship and it's guns was not going to do anything of any importance. The guns did cause minor damage overall, some sections of trench being blown away, a few patches of mines being cleared, but the defences were simply too vast for one ship to have the impact needed. Thousands of 240mm Guns now fired at the Hataria... along with scores of missiles. The enemy fleet would only be able to hold up for so long under this bombardment due to one key reason. The Hatarians had no idea where the Coalitionist Artillery positions were. The Coalitionists knew exactly where the ships were.

When the land craft hit the water, it was only a matter of time before the LADAR picked them up. Within minutes, thousands of 105mm and 110mm Guns rang out, dumping Air-Burst and Fragementation Munitions into the area. They were simply going to unload upon the landing craft, thousands of guns firing away. The closer they got, the more accurate the fire. By the time the landing craft were within sight of the shore, the defences were still in relatively good condition. The Hataria's guns had only weakened some sectors, and even then, repairs were quickly made, mines re-laid. However a new problem arose. 88mm Mortars. Tens of thousands of these weapons began to dump shells into the Baltic, simply attempting to blow away the landing craft slowing moving their way through the icy baltic waters. Even if the craft was knicked, the Hatarians were doomed... the temperatures of the water would freeze a man in minutes. The trouble only began there. Kraken MBT's, over a thousand, now fired direct shot High Explosive rounds directly at the landing craft as they moved forward, trying to shoot them out of the water before they could pose a threat. The ID-57's also rang out, their twin 30mm Gatling Cannons pouring Depleted Uranium into anything within two kilometers of the shore. Nothing was going to touch the shore... that was a promise.

The Halcon Stealth Fighters simply patroled the coast, not ordered to engage... no need to take risks if the enemy was already doomed.

The following reply arrived soon enough:

We acknowledge your ability to defend yourselves. Hataria is a weak nation, of weak people, ripe for destruction. Soon that hour shall come, and they shall crumble utterly, until nothing remains of what was once a nation with more power than it truly deserved.

The Hatarians soon attacked from Space, War Satellites were soon in orbit over Kroando once The Invasion started and now they were fireing the Space to Ground Missiles The MI-7 Dark Lords. No Nuclear Warhead were to be used for this was the sign that The Hatarian Fleet was to soon retreat.

The Targets of the Satellites were Radio and TV Stations and Military Bases The Satellites fired 30 Missiles from Each Satellite and soon they were heading for there Targets.

other Sats were fireing Anti-Satellite missiles at the enemy Sats to knock them out.

The Hataria's Thick Titanium/Steel Alloy Armor and Anti-Missile Defenses kept it from sinking as the Hatarian Landing Ships were Blasted out of The water, But the Bombers were soon dropping there bombs on enemy Artillery but they were soon gone when enemy Missiles struck and destroyed most of them.

Soon The other Ships began Fireing at the beach with everything they got, while The landing Craft turned back.

The Hatarian activity in space didn't go unnoticed for long. Soon Undershi satelite-killers were swarming anything in orbit with a Hatarian transponder signal, striking at it with their little seeker bombs... trying to deny Hataria the orbital high-ground.
Other things were happening in the Empire as well - the Ministry of Foreign Affairs sent the Hatarians a rather offensively worded Declaration of War, while the Navy issued orders to their cruiser squadrons that Hatarian ships were now fair game...
And at the same time, a simple note was sent to the government of Kroando. It said simply:

Thousands of Anti-Missile Systems rang out, filling the air with rockets and SDCI-3's, knocking out the majority of missiles. However the true defences came from the sheer enviroment of Kroando... blizzards covered land scape, interfering with targeting systems of all degree. However there was still some sucess, as several communication stations and radio towers were knocked out... but it was no killing blow. In space the Kroandanites faired much better, as all Military Satellites were armed with Anti-Missile Weapons, including AMM's, and specially designed CIWS Guns. The majority of the satellites were preserved, however a few were knocked out. In order to make up for the loss, allied satellites were used in accordance with the EVIL Charter.

I wonder when people are going to realize that its not worth it to RP with Hataria. I've been on and off the forums for almost 2 years now and every time I come back and see a Hataria post I wonder if he might have changed. Alas, each time I am continually astounded by the sheer worthlessness Hataria's RPing. You think that in that 2 years someone might learn, at the very least, to post in coherent English, but yet, a grasp of even the most basic grammar continues to elude him. I'm not angry so much at how bad Hataria's RP's are, but that firstly, people still continue to participate in his threads and give him the opportunity to post, and secondly, that he seems to have made no attempt to try and improve the level of his writing. I don't understand why people continue to try and fight with, or declare war on Hataria, only to be befuddled by his inability to construct a sentence and unable destroy his magically invulnerable units.
