Looking for a contractor, or group of them, to overhaul the CHN

Chellis

Chellis recognizes that its navy is outdated, under-maintained, and would be ineffective in a naval battle against a nation with a more modern one. Hence, we are looking outside the country for help.

Not only for ships and ship designs, but a whole navy. Quite frankly, chellis has had little naval interaction in the past, and our designers find it hard to grasp the structure of naval warfare.

Chellis is looking to fully modernize its navy within 50 years. With a navy potentially over 10,000 combat ships, that could mean a need for 200 ships a year on average, depending on what types of ships. Chellis has a number of ports and drydocks which can aid in this, but we would need outside help to build the ships as well.

Chellis is willing to pay very well for a country, or company, help us construct a navy. Its a very intensive job, so only those fully commit need apply.

If interested, let us know what sort of naval setup you are thinking of, and what you've done before(current designs, etc)

Dartia would be pleased to assist the great nation of Chellis in modernizing their navy. We have a great deal of experience designing and building ships for the NTDA & Ezaltian storefronts.

Arms manufacturing has been one of our greatest industries for many years. As it is a great source of income for our nation, we have invested heavily in developing our production capabilities. At this time, we are able to produce approximately $1 trillion worth of warships annually. Should we win a large contract such as yours, we would expect our capabilities to radically increase over the 50 year life of your contract.

We have a wide variety of ships and naval aircraft to choose from. Unfortunately, we do not make or sell dreadnaught class ships, so you would have to procure those elsewhere. Of the ships we sell, we recommend the following:

Aircraft Carriers

Chellis is looking for a comprehensive plan to revitalize its navy, so we aren't in a position to let you know what we need by ship, etc. We do like what has been presented, especially the Champion Class Carrier. We have a 10t dollar naval budget a year(USD), and are willing to spend upward to 2 trillion dollars per year toward the restructuring of the navy. If you can help us design a navy that runs on 10t dollars a year, and about 50m men total, we are interested in using you.

We can help with drydocks, and such. We are looking for a structure, ship designs, and aid in producing these to fit our navy. We await your response.

Our military consultants will put together a proposal for you over the course of the next two months (two days RL). We will attempt to put together a navy that ultilizes the best equipment we offer along with equipment from other qualified vendors. Our consultants have a few questions they would like for you to answer before they begin work.

On a scale of 1-10, how important is air power to you?

On a scale of 1-10, how importart are surface combatants to you (battleships, dreadnaughts, etc)?

On a scale of 1-10, how important is nuclear capabilities to you (ballistic missile submarines, tactical nuke artillery shells, etc)?

Are there any vendors, who you do not want to use?

Are there any vendors, who you particularly like?

I am not certain about a 50 year contract as a lot can happen in that period of time. However, the Free Land of Dartia is willing to produce the following for you every year for the next 10, 15, 20, or 25 years at the cost of $1 trillion per year.

Should you agree to a contract for any of those lengths of time, we would also provide you with domestic production rights for our entire catalog (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=507795) of weapon systems.

As your procurement budget is $2 trillion, after buying these things, you would half your budget left to build your own ships or buy them from other vendors.

How long would it take to build the stated ships? We are willing to agree to the ships, with a couple exceptions, and we want to know how many years that would take(or is that per year?).

We are looking at a slightly more carrier-based navy, so if you could balance maybe 2 battleships per carrier or so, we would appreciate it, based on cost restraints of course.

We also will produce our own aircraft, so we can do without the stated ones.

Understood.

We will submit a new proposal shorly which includes more aircraft carriers, fewer battleships, and no planes.

The provided list is what NTDA Allied is capable of producing in a year. We would be able to supply you with that quantity of ships every year for the duration of the contract. Be advised that not every ship will be produced in Dartia. Some of our affiliates in the Nova Europa region will also be lending their production capabilities to the cause.

To answer your question, it will take about three years before ships start rolling off the line in those quantities. Were there any other changes you wanted?

Chellis,

We have an agreement then. Ships will be delivered to you are they are completed with the last ship being delivered thirteen years from now.

We wish to advise you that our military designers have developed a number of new ships, the most notable of which is the Allegro Class Attack Submarine. Should you wish to make any substitutions, please let us know.

It was a pleasure doing business with you.
