Civil and political rights are highly valued in British Londinium. Employers may fire workers without giving any reason, homeless people are periodically found dead upon altars to assorted deities, several citizens have complained about scientists abducting their pets for experimentation, and manual labourers must be willing to have cybernetic limbs to get a job. The nation's schoolchildren are some of the most foul-mouthed in the country, and same-sex marriages are becoming increasingly common, skateparks can be found in every city, the Supreme Court vehemently protects civil rights and the right to privacy, British Londinium is notorious for its citizens' infidelity, and artists are pillars of society. Citizens can be frequently spotted going about their business stark naked, a National Academy regulates grammar and usage, the government helps teach children how to kill a man from six paces, and every product goes through extensive safety-testing by the government. Convicted murderers are free to walk the streets provided they attend rehabilitation classes, refugees from other nations are flocking to British Londinium's border, the nation is currently revamping its entire education system, and murderers frequently escape punishment by claiming they were protecting their honour. Main battle tanks stalk the woods of British Londinium in search of domo-kuns, elevator music has been replaced by thrash metal played at maximum volume, streakers swamp all public events in order to bare it all, and children are brainwashed at a young age to accept "Love and peace!" as a way of life. Pinkerton agents are called in to forcibly break up white collar strikes. New urban roads are threatening city parks, the government pours millions of ciceros into rehabilitation programs annually, 'The Anti-Government Hour' is a popular programme on many of British Londinium's radio stations, and the alarmingly racist TV show 'Bigtopians Say the Darndest Things' is a hit. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is moderate, probably because of the country's utter lack of prisons. The nation's youth is held blameless for all crimes, schoolchildren have twice-weekly sex education classes, drunk drivers are sent to rehabilitation paid for by the government, and cheese has become the new icon of political dissent. Notable individuals are granted land and titles, crowds of flag-burning protesters tend to accidentally become crowds of burning protesters, pristine wilderness has been trashed in the quest for cheaper oil, and people regularly disappear off the streets and all evidence of them is destroyed. Crime is totally unknown. Teachers are routinely tested to keep their jobs, psychological disorders are a taboo subject, organ donation is compulsory, and crooks and people with too many kids are being kicked out of the country. The preferred method for execution is giant blender.

OOC: You can't afford that much equipment, unless all your defense budget goes to outfitting. My soldiers have roughly that much eqiupment because there's not many of them, and our budgets are roughly the same so my troops would be better outfitted. Just inspiring some fear and intimidation for our coming war :)

The Britannic Commonwealth is a remnant of the British Empire. First discovered by explorer Francis Drake, the Isles of Londinium rapidly became British colonies. During the Second World War, British Londinium fought for its independenence from the United Kingdom, and suceeded, establishing the Dual Empire of British Londinium. However, a bloody coup occured, and Skgorria and Atopiana invaded British Londinium, and establishing a fascist puppet government. In the resulting chaos, a once obscure corporation, the Royale Group bought out the entire nation. However, the Government managed to obtain sufficient funds to buy back the nation, and held democratic elections.
OOC: More to come later....

The so-called Londinian Wall is a series of defence measures built by the Britannic Commonwealth after wargame simulations showed innumerable weakpoints. The defence mechanisms include:
Large amounts of Czech hedgehogs on the beaches
Caltropes on the beaches
Barbed/Razor wire obstacles on the shores
Large reinforced, concrete pillboxes housing artillery, tanks, light infantry along the shore; a second line of pillboxes slightly inland reinforced those
Large coastal artillery cannons and anti-missile batteries
Gun turrets housing further heavy guns
Machine gun and anti-tank nests
Bunkers
Anti-air batteris (colloquially referred to as flak towers) in every city

The Americans after the First Gulf War at the very least. =^^=
You should try SAMs atleast. Although a dedicated fighter wing would be your most effective defense (against enemy planes).
Flak Cannons and those things -- Very Ineffectual.
SAMs -- Can get most rookies;
AA Guns -- These barely do damage, and they rarely hit.
